CHAPTER 21 BEFRIENDED BLAKE

"D*mn!" Roars Aranold as he charges towards his friend.

He knows that without the help of the triclops, he will be hard-pressed to keep his friend in check.

Leon just smiles as he accelerates using Dragon Flight.

After days of practice, he finally learned how to correctly use his new skills.

He even had his system record them for further study.

Dragon Flight: Increase speed in an instant.

Tiger Pounce: Increase physical strength greatly for ten seconds.

Dragon-Tiger Roar: A mental type attack that increases the user's overall strength by half for thirty seconds while at the same time decreasing the strength of the target, an additional effect, if the target's will is weak, will cause immobilisation.

BAM! Aranold punches the triclops as he quickly retreats.

He does not want to attack him, but his instinct tells him to do it anyway.

ROAR! The triclops let out a loud cry.

His body turns bright red, blazing heat scatters in his surroundings, his skin turns darker, and they look tougher than before.

"Sh*t! That is cheating! Why are you using your Eruption State in a simple spar!?" Curses Aranold.

His body is affected by the blazing heat, and he is still unable to fully control his bloodline even with the help of the yin stone.

"Time out!" Leon quickly shouts.

He knows his friend's condition and quickly raises his hand.

He approaches Blake and slaps his head, not caring about the blazing heat surrounding his body.

"Come on! We had already discussed this! You are forbidden to use this move, I am forbidden to use [Dragon-Tiger Roar], and Aranold is forbidden to force his bloodline to be active!"

Blake takes a deep breath.

He releases a long, hot breath of black smoke.

"I apologise, I became carried away, the battle has ignited my burning passion for battle."

Leon shakes his head.

"I understand what you are feeling, but Aranold's problem is still haunting him to this day. Your heat will only excite the volatile bloodline within him."

"You know that the three of us need to be in a healthy state for the exhibition match to be held next week already."

The triclops snort. "If only one of us is not a total dead weight."

Leon shakes his head again.

"Not everyone is willing to risk their lives for just a chance to grow stronger, not everyone is capable of making a decision like what you did."

Blake has decided to actually enter one of the academy's forbidden grounds, the Raging Volcanoes Area, this is where he obtained this new move of his.

What sprung this decision of his is the daily spar against Leon.

He quickly realises that he is being left behind rapidly.

At first, he is at an advantage in their sparring matches, but his honed senses in countless fights and his own experience have given him a massive advantage against a newbie like Leon.

Unfortunately for him, this did not last long, his opponent managed to learn almost all of his moves and even some of his habits that he did not know.

The rapid improvement of his teammate, of course, excites him.

He can feel his strength increasing and his battle style becoming more mature and unpredictable.

He is happy that he finally has a competent teammate, but because he sees himself as their captain, he does not want to be left behind so easily.

Aranold sighs.

He touches the yin stone and feels relieved.

"The power of the yin stone is slowly fading away, together with your outburst, its reserve is now becoming thin!"

Leon frowns.

He knows that this spells doom for his friend, and he cannot help but ask.

"Have you found any reliable sources to acquire more of it? I can ask brother Pure to help us request more from Lady Lilith, but I would rather not bother him with such a task."

"I also do not want to bother him, after all, he is currently busy with his own advancement." Aranold quickly added, leaving some things unsaid.

He knows that Pure is only interested in interacting with his friend, he only sees him as a plus one.

He also knows that, with his meagre strength and the status of his tribe, being able to talk to him is already considered a gift.

"Yes, after my spar with him, it seems that he had gained some new understanding of his technique."

Without Blake for him to fight with, he can only seek another opponent.

During the time that Blake trains inside the Raging Volcanoes Area, he spends his day training with the monk.

"Actually, I have heard from one of my sparring partners that in one of the academy's forbidden grounds, there exists a place that naturally forms a stone." Aranold quickly says.

"That is great! We can go there! Who knows! Maybe that location can stimulate your bloodline even more!" Leon's eyes light up.

This is great news.

"I still do not know what the name of the forbidden ground is, besides, are you truly going there just for my sake?"

Aranold asks in disbelief, but he also feels warm inside, having a friend like this is definitely his greatest luck.

"Why don't you ask your sparring partners tomorrow?" He asks.

His friend nods.

Aranold feels that if even his friend is entering for his sake, he should do all the troublesome work, such as procuring information and their preparation for the journey.

"Your friendship is envious, I wish to obtain a great friend such as you, Cleo."

He turns to Sophia, and a look of disgust appears in his face.

"A coward is still a coward no matter what reason you give, one is entering a forbidden ground for his friend's sake, while the other is too afraid to enter one, which is actually just for his sake."

Leon cannot help but sigh inwardly.

He realises that the triclops are not that bad, he is just too stubborn and too straightforward.

As a human, his value is considered a bit strange, but he accepts that this is the reason why he is considered the strongest individual in their room.

The triclops went with them to the canteen, this is the first time he actually went with them.

The things that he ate are considered inedible for the human and Blitzgher races.

He eats molten rocks that specifically came from a volcano, he also drinks lava.

If their race does not consume these, they will slowly cool down and finally die.

The two girls are surprised by the triclop's appearance.

Carefree knows him because she always wants to get close to Leon after knowing his sister, unfortunately, because of the latter's personality, her plan was immediately crushed.

"Young master!" As they sit at their table, a scream is heard.

Leon realises that the voice is familiar to him and turns towards the source.

He sees Elcio running towards him with a pitiful appearance.

He frowns, and he asks. "What happened to you? Did somebody bully you?"

His tone is cold, and he unconsciously releases his aura.

The people at the table are already used to this, but Elcio is taken aback by the overbearing and powerful aura coming from his young master.

Aranold sighs, tapping his friend's shoulder.

"Buddy, your aura is too much for your servant. I suggest that you calm down and hear what he says."

"I know that his appearance is not strange for students that are considered servants and does not have any potential."

Leon is confused, but he still follows his suggestion.

He is still lacking in the common sense department in this world.

Elcio heaves a sigh of relief, he cannot believe that his young master has grown to such a level in just a couple of weeks.

"Student Aranold is correct, young master. The students that are considered servants are not treated the same as normal students, unless they have some potential, the servants would need to complete missions and earn a certain amount of points to keep themselves from being kicked out of this academy." He patiently explains.

Leon frowns and asks. "If this is the case, then it should not be a problem for you to keep in contact with me, why have you disappeared for such an extended amount of time?"

The people at the table start laughing and giggling.

Aranold shakes his head and explains. "Buddy, it seems that you think that earning points is that easy, not many are like me that are capable of taking hits from top rankers, nor are you as good at being an expert in different things."

"What do you mean by that?" Leon quickly asks.

He had only taken three types of missions in his time in the academy, the massage mission, the cooking mission, and the music mission.

The first mission is something that he repeatedly takes in order to improve his reputation and increase his data on other students.

"You are an anomaly, every mission that you have taken, you always receive full stars, if not for the fact that I have known you for such a long time, I would think that you are a different person."

His friend shakes his head helplessly.

Elcio is shaken to his core, he never expected that his young master was actually better than him in this trait.

He wants to ask him about the missions, but he has been trained since young.

Quickly dispelling his personal question, he asks a different question. "Young master, you started taking missions? Do you not have enough points? Do you wish for more to ask the family to send you more allowance?"

"No, I just started accepting missions in order to increase my understanding of the academy and meet new beings at the same time." He waves his hand.

"You might not know this, but I am considered one of the hot picks in the massage parlour." He proudly states.

Aranold nods his head.

"Yeah, even I was surprised by just how fast his reputation grows, in fact, he has become one of the most sought-after boyfriends for both the orc monster and orc beast races."

After multiple sessions, he became used to the presence of the orcs, he even learned some of the names of his clients, of course, he only remembers those that had some impact on his memories.

"I see." Elcio mumbles.

"Why are you just kneeling there? Sit here, the table is big enough to accommodate another person." He casually orders, a bit uncomfortable from seeing someone he knows kneeling in front of him.

Elcio sits a little bit farther from the rest, he knows his place in this group, and he does not want to make them uncomfortable with his presence.

"By the way, lanky man, it seems that the exhibition match between your room and your rival is drawing closer, is your group fully prepared?" Marionette suddenly asks.

Leon stops his barbaric eating, wiping the oil from his mouth, and proudly points at his two teammates.

"With these two and my help, I do not see our room being defeated by those clowns."

Blake even showcases his bulging muscle. Seeing this, Carefree frowns, and she warns them.

"Do not underestimate your opponents, according to my intelligence, Aphu, the Beastman of Room XZ14 has been training just outside the boundary of the Lost Jungle."

"What is that?" Seeing the serious expression on everyone's faces, he cannot help but ask.

It seems that this information is quite vital for them.

"Lost jungle is one of the academy's forbidden grounds." Aranold quickly explains.

Elcio is stunned, he wanted to be the one to explain this, but it seems that his role has been taken from him.

"One of the forbidden grounds, huh?" He mumbles.

Both Blake and Aranold are not surprised that he is not alarmed, they know just how fast he is improving, in fact, if not for the fact that the two of them have more genetic enhancement than him, they might not have lasted so long in their sparring matches.

"Young master, you might not know this, but the forbidden grounds are the academy's most dangerous training spots."

"Your life might be in constant danger, but if you train inside, it is said that you can grow ten times faster inside than anywhere else." Elcio hastily added, seeing that his young master is not taking it seriously.
