★★★★Day one into the war★★★
Talia's mind was racing as she sat at the wooden desk, quill in hand, staring at the blank parchment in front of her. Lucian had tasked her with creating a war plan, and she was determined to come up with something brilliant.
As she began to scribble down notes, Rushan burst into the room. "Talia, I've been looking everywhere for you!"
Talia looked up, startled. "What's wrong, Rushan?"
Rushan's expression was grim. "The witches have sent a message. They're demanding that we surrender Lucian in exchange for sparing our pack."
Talia's eyes widened. "That's never going to happen."
Rushan nodded. "I know. But we need to come up with a plan to counter their demands. Can I see what you've got so far?"
Talia handed Rushan the parchment, and he scanned it quickly. "This is good, but we need something more. Something that will give us the upper hand."
Talia's eyes sparkled. "I think I have an idea."
Rushan raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"
Talia leaned in, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Let's use the witches' own magic against them."
Rushan's eyes widened. "How do you plan on doing that?"
Talia's grin grew wider. "Leave that to me."
As Rushan departed, Talia's mind was racing with possibilities. She knew that the witches' magic was powerful, but she also knew that it had a weakness.
And she was determined to exploit that weakness to save Lucian and their pack.
She went to see camelia telling about the war , asking if Anthony will come and of course he will cos he is the next beta of the mid night guardian pack, after the discussion she left going back to business.
Talia spent the rest of the day pouring over ancient tomes and seeking out wise elders who might hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the witches' magic. As the sun began to set, she gathered her notes and made her way to Lucian's chambers.
Lucian looked up from the map spread out before him, his eyes narrowing as he took in Talia's determined expression. "What have you got for me?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Talia took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "I think I've found a way to counter the witches' magic," she said, her voice steady.
Lucian's eyes snapped with interest. "Tell me."
Talia launched into a detailed explanation of her plan, using the maps and notes she had gathered to illustrate her points. Lucian listened intently, his expression growing more and more impressed as she spoke.
When she finished, Lucian leaned back in his chair, a slow smile spreading across his face. "You're a genius," he said, his voice full of admiration.
Talia felt a flush rise to her cheeks, but she couldn't help the surge of pride that swelled through her. "It's just a plan," she said, trying to downplay her role.
Lucian chuckled. "Just a plan?" he repeated. "You've given us a fighting chance, Talia. And for that, I'll be eternally grateful."
Talia's heart skipped a beat as Lucian's eyes locked onto hers, the intensity of his gaze making her feel like she was drowning in their depths.
But before she could respond, a loud crash echoed through the hallway, followed by the sound of shouting and scuffling.
Lucian's head snapped up, his eyes narrowing. "What's going on?" he growled, already rising from his chair.
Talia's heart was racing as she followed Lucian out into the hallway, the sounds of chaos and confusion growing louder with every step.
What was happening? And who was behind the disturbances.
As they rushed into the hallway, Talia's eyes widened in shock. The castle was in chaos. Furniture was overturned, tapestries were torn, and the sound of snarling and growling filled the air.
Lucian's eyes scanned the hallway, his face twisted in a snarl. "What's going on here?" he thundered. Where is father but what he didn't know is that his father and brothers left through the underground layer so he can die.
One of the guards rushed forward, his face pale. "It's the vampires, Your Highness. They've attacked us."
Talia's heart sank. The vampires? But why?
Lucian's face darkened. "Get the warriors ready. We'll show them the true meaning of Midnight Guardian Pack power."
As the guard rushed off to sound the alarm, Talia felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Rushan standing behind her, his eyes gleaming with a fierce light.
"Talia, I need you to get to safety. Now. Anthony said"
But Talia shook her head. "No, I'm not going to hide. I'm going to fight."
Rushan's face twisted in a mixture of frustration and admiration. "You're as stubborn as Lucian."he said
Talia smiled, a fierce glint in her eye. "I'm his mate. It's my duty to stand by his side."
As the sound of howling and snarling grew louder, Talia steeled herself for the battle ahead. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to fight for her pack, for Lucian, and for their future together.
The vampires were in for a surprise. The Midnight Guardian Pack was not going to go down without a fight.

As the battle raged on, Talia found herself fighting alongside Lucian and the rest of the pack. Her heart pounded in her chest, but she refused to back down.
Lucian fought with precision and skill, taking down vampire after vampire. Talia watched in awe, her admiration for him growing with every passing moment. He was raining fire down like rain in the battlefield as the devil's son he is. Killng and then burning is his obligation in the battlefield.
But despite their valiant efforts, the vampires seemed endless. Talia began to feel overwhelmed, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
Just when she thought she couldn't take it anymore, Anthony appeared by her side. "Talia, I need you to get Lucian out of here. Now."he shouted through the pack link.
Talia's eyes widened. "What? Why?"
Rushan's face was grim. "The vampires are just a distraction. There's something bigger at play here. Something that could destroy our entire pack."
Talia's heart skipped a beat. What could be worse than the vampires?
Without hesitation, she grabbed Lucian's arm and pulled him towards the castle entrance. "We need to get out of here. Now."
Lucian's eyes narrowed. "What's going on?"
Talia's voice was urgent. "Rushan says there's something bigger at play here. We need to get to safety."
Lucian's face darkened. "I'm not leaving my pack."
Talia's grip on his arm tightened. "You have to. For our future. For our pack."
Lucian's eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, Talia thought she saw a glimmer of understanding.
But then, his face hardened. "I'll protect my pack. No matter what."
Talia's heart sank. Was Lucian going to sacrifice himself to save his pack?
As the battle raged on, Talia knew she had to think fast. She couldn't lose Lucian. Not now. Not ever.
