chapter 19&20: escape.

Talia's mind was racing. She had to come up with a plan to save Lucian and the pack. She looked around, taking in the chaos of the battle.

That's when she saw it - a small opening between two buildings. It was narrow, but it might just provide the escape route they needed.

Talia grabbed Lucian's arm again, pulling him towards the opening. "Come on!" she shouted above the din of the battle.

Lucian hesitated for a moment, but then followed Talia through the narrow opening. They emerged on the other side, gasping for breath.

Rushan and Anthony was waiting for them, his eyes scanning the surrounding area. "We need to keep moving," he said. "The vampires will be on our tail soon."

Talia nodded, already moving forward. Lucian followed close behind, his eyes fixed on her.

As they ran, Talia could feel the weight of the pack's fate on her shoulders. She knew that she had to come up with a plan to defeat the vampires and save the pack.

But for now, she just focused on putting one foot in front of the other. They had to keep moving.

Suddenly, Lucian stopped in his tracks. "Wait," he said, his head cocked to one side.

Talia and every other person froze, listening. And then they heard it too - the sound of footsteps, echoing through the night air.

The vampires had found them.

Lucian eyes locked onto the darkness, his body tense and ready to spring into action. "Get behind me," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Talia didn't hesitate, grabbing Lucian's arm and pulling him back. But Lucian resisted, his eyes flashing with anger.

"I'm not hiding," he snarled, his body trembling with rage.

Rushan's eyes flicked to Lucian, and for a moment, Talia thought she saw a glimmer of fear. But then Rushan's face hardened.

"Fine," he spat. "But if you get yourself killed, don't say I didn't warn you."

As Rushan spoke, the vampires emerged from the darkness, their eyes glowing like embers in the night. Talia's heart sank, her mind racing with fear.

But Lucian just smiled, his eyes flashing with excitement. "Let's do this," he growled, his body coiling like a spring.and the his wolf took over.

The clash of fangs and claws filled the air as the vampires and werewolves collided. Talia watched in awe as Lucian, Anthony and Rushan fought side by side, their movements fluid and deadly.

But despite their valiant efforts, the vampires seemed endless. Talia's heart sank as she realized they were outnumbered.

Just when all hope seemed lost, a loud howl pierced the night air. The vampires hesitated, their eyes flicking towards the sound.

Awoo!!!!!!!!!

And that's when Talia saw them - a pack of werewolves, and lycanthrope their eyes glowing like embers in the dark. They charged into battle, their fangs bared and their claws extended.

The second face of Talia's war plan came to view as they cought them by surprise making her a great war planner.

The vampires were caught off guard, and the werewolves took full advantage. The tide of the battle began to shift, and Talia's heart soared with hope.

But just as victory seemed within their grasp, a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall and imposing, with eyes that glowed like ice in the dark.

"Welcome, Lucian," the figure said, its voice dripping with malice. "I've been waiting for you."

Lucian's eyes narrowed, his body coiling like a spring. "Kael," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Talia's heart skipped a beat as she realized who Kael was - the vampire king.

And he had come for Lucian.

Kael's eyes gleamed with amusement as he surveyed the battlefield. "You're quite the warrior, Lucian you deserve the title the dark prince," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "But you're no match for me."

Lucian snarled, his body tense and ready to spring. "I'll take my chances," he growled.

Kael chuckled, his fangs glinting in the moonlight. "We'll see about that," he said, and with a swift movement, he launched himself at Lucian.

The two clashed in a flurry of fangs and claws, their bodies locked in a fierce struggle. Talia watched in horror as they fought, her heart pounding in her chest.

Rushan appeared beside her, his eyes fixed on the battle. "We need to get Lucian out of here," he growled. "Now."

But Talia hesitated, her eyes locked on Lucian's struggling form. She couldn't just leave him.

And then, in a flash of inspiration, she remembered the war plan she had devised earlier. The one that involved using the vampires' own magic against them.

With newfound determination, Talia turned to Rushan. "I have an idea," she said, her voice low and urgent. "Let's use their magic against them."

Rushan's eyes narrowed. "How?"

Talia's smile was fierce. "Leave that to me."

And with that, she launched herself into the fray, her heart pounding with excitement and fear.

Talia charged into the battle, her eyes fixed on Kael's struggling form. She could see the magic swirling around him, a dark and malevolent force that seemed to pulse with an evil energy.

With a swift movement, Talia reached out and grabbed Kael's wrist, her fingers closing around it like a vice. Kael's eyes flashed with surprise, but Talia just smiled.

"You see, Kael," she said, her voice low and husky, "I've been studying your magic. And I think I've found a way to use it against you."

Kael's face twisted with rage, but Talia just laughed. With a swift movement, she reached out and touched Kael's forehead, her fingers closing around it like a vice.

The magic surged through her, a dark and powerful force that seemed to course through her veins like liquid fire. Talia felt her eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy, and she knew that she had tapped into the heart of Kael's magic.

With a swift movement, Talia turned to face the vampire army, her eyes blazing with an unholy energy. The vampires recoiled in horror, their eyes fixed on Talia's glowing form.

And then, in a voice that was both ancient and evil she shouted (TU MORI ERIS) meaning you will die in latin, Talia spoke the words of the incantation. The magic surged through her, a dark and powerful force that seemed to shake the very foundations of the earth.

The vampires let out a collective scream, their bodies contorting in agony as the magic washed over them. Talia felt her own body trembling with the force of the magic, but she refused to back down.

With a final burst of energy, Talia banished the vampires from the land, her magic sealing them away in a prison of their own making.

As the dust settled, Talia turned to face Lucian, her eyes still glowing with the remnants of the magic. Lucian's face was pale, his eyes wide with shock and admiration.

"Talia," he whispered, his voice full of awe. "You're incredible."

Talia smiled, her heart pounding with excitement. "I had a good teacher," she said, her eyes locked on Lucian's.

And with that, the two of them shared a kiss, their lips meeting in a passionate embrace that seemed to seal their fate forever.

But as they pulled away, Talia's eyes locked on something in the distance. Something that made her heart skip a beat.

A angelic looking woman tall and imposing was watching them from the shadows. A figure with eyes that glowed like snow in the dark.

Talia's heart sank, her mind racing with fear. Who was this new threat? And what did she want
