“The Hidden Divisions”

A deep rumble made the walls vibrate. "That was close," one of the Wolves said. "Too close."

"There's something you need to see," Shade said, leading me to a secluded room in the base. "During the last raid by the White Wolves on a corporate facility, they retrieved some files. They could be important."

The holographic image flickered, showing a woman with brown hair—Dr. Lyra Vayne. She was speaking about Resonance research, but the recording was heavily damaged.

"…the Resonance manifests differently in each individual… the test group shows promising results…" Then, only static.

"Who is she?" I asked.

Shade shook his head. "A scientist. She was researching the Resonance; that's all we know. But the file was classified as top secret. Whatever her research uncovered, it was important enough for the corporations to make her disappear."

"Welcome to our base," Echo said with a slight smile. "There's a lot to learn, but we'll teach you everything you need to survive."

She led Kyro through the labyrinthine corridors of the base. Holograms displaying information and tactical data shimmered on the walls, while the air hummed softly with energy.

"This is where we train the different divisions," Echo explained. "Each division has its own specialties and strengths. We need all of them to change this world."

They entered a massive training room where several members of the second division, led by Commander Avaris, were practicing with heavy equipment and weapons.

"The second division specializes in combat training and close combat," Echo explained. "They are the turtle, defending against the attack."

They continued on, arriving at another training area surrounded by a dense wall of mist. Through the mist, they could see members of the third division practicing Resonance techniques with astonishing speed and precision.

"The third division focuses on Resonance control and manipulation," Echo explained. "They are the foxes, disappearing in the mist and launching covert attacks."
