In the next room, the members of the fourth division, led by Commander Rioji, were surrounded by intricate machines and holograms. They were constructing and repairing weapons, devices, and robots with remarkable precision.
"The fourth division is responsible for technology and logistics," Echo explained. "They are the engineers who build the weapons and repair our equipment."
Kyro looked around in awe. The White Wolves' base was a place of technology and knowledge, an oasis of hope amid the chaos.
"And now, the first division," Echo said as she opened the door to a large room filled with various training stations.
Kyro felt a wave of energy radiating from the room. He could sense power and control in the air, so strong it took his breath away.
Suddenly, a man with short blond hair rushed toward him. The man, Solis, Echo's right hand, struck with full force. Kyro reflexively stepped back, but Solis' blow still landed on his arm.
"That was just a test," Echo said with a slightly amused tone. "Solis isn't as friendly as I am."
Kyro rubbed his arm, which stung slightly. "Why?"
"He's testing your strength," Echo said. "You're the newest recruit, and he wants to see if you've got what it takes."
Kyro felt his blood boiling. He couldn't just ignore this challenge.
"Fine," Kyro said. "Then let's begin."
Meanwhile, Shade watched everything from his control center. He could sense Kyro's Resonance glowing. He was surprised by the boy's strength and potential.
"Interesting," Shade murmured as he analyzed the data on his monitor. "He's developing faster than I expected."
Solis gave Kyro a dark glare. "You seem to be learning much faster than the others. But that's not enough to survive here."
Solis lunged at Kyro again with renewed force, his movements swift and precise. Kyro dodged the strikes and countered with his own, but Solis was always one step ahead.
