Rioji: "We'll see. Tomorrow, 05:00. And heaven help you if you're late."
The Celestia Test
As the moment of the test approached, Kyro was led into a dimly lit room. A machine, cold and metallic, stood at the center of the room, surrounded by softly glowing symbols that pulsed like veins running across its surface. The members of the White Wolves, Echo and Shade, stood silently at the edge, their gazes curious and expectant. It was the Celestia Test, a procedure that revealed the true path of an individual. All the White Wolves watched with bated breath for the result.
Rioji, who stood in a corner, crossed his arms. His expression was skeptical, almost annoyed. "I don't even know why we're doing this. It's a waste of time."
Echo ignored him and nodded at Kyro, who stood bravely in the center. A slender needle extended from the machine.
Shade (with a faint smile): "Stay calm. It won't take long."
Kyro felt a quick prick as a small amount of blood was drawn. The machine began to hum, and the blood was directed into a transparent chamber. All eyes were fixed on the tube, which initially glowed dark red.
Echo (quietly): "This is the normal state."
Suddenly, the color shifted. The red slowly turned into a deep blue, like a silent ocean. Some of the members held their breath.
Shade: "The blue represents exceptional potential," he murmured, while Rioji merely furrowed his brow in skepticism.
But then something happened that no one had expected. The blue began to transform into pure, radiant white. It was as if the blood itself started to glow. The machine's hum grew louder, and finally, glowing letters appeared on the screen: Holy Path – Shinsei.
The air seemed to stand still. None of the members had ever seen the white actually appear. It was like a myth, a legend. Even Echo and Shade, who were Shinsei themselves, were visibly shocked by the result.
