“The Unseen Speed”

Ezryel's Unrelenting Speed

Nia dodged, but her teleportations weren't fast enough to escape Ezryel.

Suddenly, his hand clamped around her arm like a vice, yanking her toward him with an unforgiving pull.

"We're ending this now, Nia. No more cat-and-mouse games."

"Let her go!" Neo shouted as he got back to his feet and charged at Ezryel. But with effortless grace, Ezryel turned toward him and unleashed a spiraling tornado of lightning, sending Neo flying backward.

"You're fast, but not fast enough to keep up with me," Ezryel said with a faint smile. But for a brief moment, his attention wavered—and Nia took her chance.

With one last desperate teleportation burst, she broke free and pulled Neo out of the line of fire.

"You're playing with fire," Nia growled as she and Neo repositioned themselves at a safe distance. "But we're far from done, Ezryel."

The air crackled with energy, the echo of footsteps on metal ringing through the hall. Everyone knew: the real fight was only just beginning.

The Trap Closes In

Instinctively, Nia teleported several meters back and hurled a wave of distorted spatial energy at Ezryel. But he seemed to anticipate the attacks effortlessly, dodging with ease as he chuckled.

"You're good," he said, steadily closing in on Neo. "But not good enough."

Nia intervened again, teleporting Neo out of Ezryel's reach, but she could feel her energy running low. Every jump drained her immensely, and Ezryel was simply too fast.

"You can't keep saving him forever, Nia," Ezryel mocked. "Why don't you just give up? Or…"—his gaze sharpened—"…should I take you out first?"

Ezryel focused his lightning resonance into a single point—and vanished.

A split second later, he reappeared directly behind Nia, his face just inches from hers.

"Let's see how you handle this," he whispered arrogantly, raising his hand, now pulsing with electric energy.
