Avaris stepped into the labyrinth and announced in a calm voice: "Time is up! The result: a draw between Team A and Team B."
Ezryel felt frustration rising within him. His fingers clenched into fists, his gaze fixed on Rex. "This isn't over yet…" he said with restrained anger and abruptly turned away.
Nia gently placed a hand on his shoulder, but Ezryel pulled away from her touch. "We should have won…" he said quietly, standing still, lost in thought.
Liebe observed Ezryel carefully. "This won't sit well with him." His voice was calm, but Rex understood the meaning behind his words and gave a small nod.
Neo spun the relic between his fingers for a moment before tossing it to Rex. "We were so close, but in the end, what matters is that we didn't lose."
Rex's lips curled slightly, but there was more relief than pride in his expression.
Both teams left the labyrinth, the tension between them almost palpable. One thing was clear: this was not their last encounter—the next battle would be even more intense.
After the resounding gong, Avaris stepped forward once again. His mere presence was enough to silence the exhausted fighters.
"The second trial is now over. No team secured victory, but every effort counts. Each of you will receive 5 points for participation. The commanders have finalized their evaluations."
A hologram flickered to life, projecting the updated rankings into the air.
