CHAPTER24.

Aiden had planned to have a proper talk with Roxanne's father and plan to make him stop disturbing Roxanne's life which seems peaceful. He wants to make him know that one has to suffer the conciquences for there own action and that he can never get everything he ever wanted especially after throwing them away. He wanted Roxanne to have a happy life and not move from place to place because of her unfilial father who does not even know his duties as a father and husband. Aiden went to sleep afterwards, and when he woke up the following day he was clear minded and happy and was seen humming a tune while washing up. When he went to prepare breakfast he found that Roxanne had already made it, the scent coming from the pancakes made him hungry and one could see him even drooling over the food. He greeted Roxanne as he took his own seat. After finishing they cleared the table and washed the dishes used. Aiden walked towards the door as Roxanne went to take her handbag from the room, after retrieving it she went to the garage to take her car from where she was told it was parked, she found it quicker than she thought and drove to the café. The café was still quite so she opened it and went inside, she arranged and cleaned everything before the other workers arrived. Work started early and everything went well, she was thankful she never saw her father that day which improved her mood significantly by the end of the working hours she bought ingredients for cooking dinner . She bought fish and some vegetables to use in preparing salad.

By the time Aiden arrived everything was ready and she had already arranged them in the dinning table, she just invited Aiden to eat as soon as he arrived. Aiden went to wash up quickly then he came down for dinner, they cleaned the table and the plates after they were done with everything. They decided to watch a short film since they had nothing to talk about since talking about work seemed so boring for them both. The movie was a comedy, the jokes made or the funny things the actors did made them laugh from time to time making the house seem lively in compared to the silent atmosphere in the area they were living in. The movie was more fun than they expected they both complimented on it , when they had looked at the review section it never had a lot of reviews that was why they decided to watch it to see how it was but it exceeded what they expected, the actors acted well Roxanne especially liked the female lead since she talked about her to Aiden saying how her co-ordination with other actors and actresses complimented each other. She enthusiastically said how the role complimented her character which was true and even Aiden agreed with that point. They went to bed after talking about the movie and Roxanne's father which did not seem to be a good topic for Roxanne since hearing her father's name or anything about him gives her nightmares so she never liked talking about him.
