CHAPTER 25.

The same day Aiden went to work after living home and around noon he left work and went to visit Roxanne's father Mr.Keith Thomas, he knew his name since he read the investigation reports and found it there. Roxanne hated calling the name so much that she never mentioned it to anyone even her friends never knew his name.

When he arrived at the restaurant that they were meeting him he spoted the man sitting silently while sipping his soda while waiting for him. Aiden greater him politely before taking his seat the man never looked at him just nodding his head to acknowledge him. He ordered food for himself since the person inftont of him had ordered food before he even arrived. The man looked at me and asked him what he wanted to talk about to him. Aiden took a sip of the tea and complimented its taste then looked up and told Keith that they will talk after they finished eating s8nce he doesn't want ti lose his appetite before having a bite of the food made in this place, he never said it out of disrespect he said it since he was too hungry to think straight so he might say something that can make the man create a comotion or even worse make Roxanne's life miserable so to think straight he needed food to fill his stomach first.

The food was brought within minutes and they ate to their fill and ordered some dessert to accompany the food they has eaten. The first thing that left Aiden's mouth after the meal was "live Roxanne alone, you both have lived in two different words for more than two decades so why come back now that her life is more peaceful and full of happiness. " The man looked like he just wanted to get rid of Aiden there and then but he held himself back. He somehow knew that the man in front of him is not as simple as he claimed to be by the way he was looking at him it told him all the story and also gave him a warning but he did not take the politeness to notice and went on with his ramblings about how Roxanne is his daughter so he had the right to be near her and to also bring her back because what happened two decades ago was a mistake. Aiden laughed at Keith's words a mistake he knew he was making with a clear mind what a funny joke. Aiden asked him if he knew how his daughter lived, where she stayed, how much she had to work in order to educate herself while all he did was enjoy life with his mistress he lived like a king while his daughter was in the cold and had no food, shelter or even clothes to wear, he asked him where he used all the money he had for, he never used a penny on his child or his deseased wife he just knew how to enjoy his life. The thing he never knew was that the kid even signed a serverence tie contract and he is sure the man also signed it. Aiden told him to not come to Roxanne because they severed ties with her family and left the inheritance to his future child which he still does not have until now.
