Powerhouses

Kian met up with Selene and May as they went to class. May was practically hugging onto Kian and occasionally leaving kisses on his cheek making Kian and Selene blush. Selene herself was feeling jealous, but she couldn't understand why.

Is it because I like him? But I barely know him… well he did risk his life to stop me from overusing my powers. I haven't really paid him back for that have I…

They walked to class and class started. As class went on Kian kept hearing his name, he turned only to see Sero, a boy from the class. Sero was gesturing for him to come over.

He snuck to him and sat down "What?" Kian whispered

"How old are you?" Sero whispered back

"12, why?"

"12 and you're already married?!"

"Huh?" He looked at May and Selene "Oh no, We're not Married. I mean it's more like future promises…"

"I see, well what if you don't love each other anymore?"

"I don't know…" Kian looked down, so Sero patted his back.

"I understand man, It's hard these days. Anyway, did you hear that Arthur went out?"

"Wait what?!" Kian jumped up and the class looked. Ms. Deathora stepped up.

"Is there a problem Mr. Kian?" She crossed her arms looking at his with a sharp eye.

"Uh no… I just learned some news about Arthur…"

"Arthur huh? The Dragonslayer boy. Yeah he went to a dungeon, something about training. Which is something we're all about to do! Everybody up!" Everyone stood up and followed her outside to the training grounds.

"First up! I want to see where we all stand! Everyone will put their hands on this orb and put out as much mana as possible. We have healers ready so no need to worry."

The first person who got to it was Sero. He put his hand on the orb and well the results were sad. He was low ranking. Student after student, the results were between low and mid high. Till Selene came up and put her hand, everyone expected high rankings, but it was low. Everyone gasped except for Kian.

"She's really powerful, no?"

"The orb must be malfunctioning"

"Well does that mean I have a chance to be a high rank!"

"I doubt it."

"WHAT?!"

"You heard me"

"You two shut up! Watch"

Kian sighed and walked up to Selene "CONE ON SELENE! I KNOW YOU'RE MORE POWERFUL THAN THAT! EVERYONE DOES!" He looked at everyone for reassurance and everyone nodded.

"YEAH YOU DON'T HAVE TO HOLD BACK SELENE!'

"She was holding back?!"

"So I'm still a low rank" He started crying

"Yep, told ya"

"Shut up, I'm depressed."

"SHUT UP YOU TWO!"

Selene looked at everyone and blushed "Kian you… Hmph… fine! I'll try my hardest!" She tried and the orb didn't do anything. Everyone looked with faces of doubt or anticipation. As they did, the orb started to shake violently and emit glowing rays of light and large waves of energy.

Ms. Deathora looked with wide eyes and so did everyone else. "She's… a High rank, no even higher than that. A High Superior Rank, The 4th one so far."

"WHAT?!"

"I already knew, she would!"

"NO I DID!"

"SHUT UP, YOU COPYCAT!"

"I'LL KILL YOU BOTH IF YOU DON'T SHUT THE HELL UP!"

After the noise, the next person was the girl that kept yelling "Shut up" to the 2 boys. Her name was Khione. She has light blue hair and beautiful silver eyes. She walked to the orb and put her hand on it and it didn't move just like Selene's. Yet something was off, it felt chilly around everyone. The grass started to freeze and so did the orb. Then large ice sickles started to form around her.

Then a large blizzard, it kept getting worse until she finally got her hand off the freezing orb and everything started to melt.

"DON'T TELL ME SHE'S A HIGHER RANK TOO!"

"TWO HIGHER RANKS IN ONE GO?!"

"THAT'S OUR LEADER FOR YA!"

"YEAH, THE LEADER OF THE WINTER GUILD!"

"QUEEN OF SNOW!"

Kian looked at Selene and she looked at him "She's extremely powerful, too powerful even!" They both said with a nod.

Ms. Deathora calmed everyone down "Another High Superior Rank, Incredible!"

Kian jumped up, it was his turn now, he raised his hand and brought it down on the orb with a smile. The orb started to shake violently and rise with golden light shooting out, Kian looked at it with wide eyes and so did everyone else.

The very earth itself started to shake and it seemed as if the Heavens too shook. Then a symbol glowed above the orb. Only Kian understood it, it was The King's symbol.

"ANOTHER HIGH SUPERIOR RANK!"

"NO IT CAN'T BE! IT GLOWED GOLD!"

"THEN WHAT CAN IT BE?!"

"ALL I KNOW IS THAT HE'S NOT MORE THAN OUR PRECIOUS LEADER!"

Ms. Deathora didn't even speak at first, instead she fixed her glasses to make sure she wasn't seeing things and even pinched herself. She mumbled something under breath then cleared her throat. "Kian… you need to see me after class… Alright everyone back to class".

Back in Armagia. The murderous boy was in a village tavern. "That demon of a woman! I'll Kill her! I'll rip her heart out!"

Everyone made sure to stay away from him, some still giving quick glances.

The boy slammed his fists on the table as he thought about the things the person he was thinking about said.

"How could I have forgotten? This world… it's full of violence, betrayal, and such meaningless evil. You definitely shouldn't have to live in it. Neither shall you try to be something so big" Her voice sounded sorry with a hint of deception. "So I won't make you, after all, the Weak will always die first…"

The boy's eyes started to glow red as he smashed his fists into the table again making it crack a bit. "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!? YOU FILTHY WOMAN!!!" He smashed the table again and it broke as he fell to his knees. "I get it, I had to lean on others just to keep going and had to use your help just to get to where I was, but… YOU LIED TO ME AND USED ME FOR YOUR OWN BENEFIT AND THREW ME AWAY LIKE A PIECE OF TRASH!"

As he stood up, he heard gasps and looked up, everyone was cowering in fear, but instead of feeling sorry he smiled.

He looked at his fist "That's right, now that's different. I hold the power that can bring people to their knees! The person who stands with all the power, while the Weak quiver in fear helplessly! I have the Advantage! I have the Might! I am the strongest of them all and no one can stand against me again!" He clenched his fists and the energy around him rose. "Watch out, King of Monsters, because the newfound god of destruction is coming!"
