Kian the 3rd Divine Rank in Arcadia's history.

After class Ms. Deathora took Kian down to the Principal. When they reached the room and opened the door an old man was sitting in the chair. He had white hair in a ponytail and a very muscular build for an old man. "Mr. Kian correct, Ms. Deathora?"

"Yes, Mr. Hallswell" She said with a nod

Mr. Hallswell looked at Kian and the boy felt a chill go up his spine. "Um... What am I down here for?"

"You,my boy" The old man stood up and grabbed a paper "Arcadia's ranks for growing Mages stop at a given point, the highest one can go is High Superior Rank and that usually is never surpassed, yet some have. Some have reached so high that the ranking system had to be upgraded. A new rank was added" He put the paper on the table where Kian could see it. The paper had one thing circled. "Divine Rank" A rank for people who surpass natural human limits.

Principal Hallswell walked up to Kian and put a hand on his shoulder. "You are the 3rd Divine Rank in all of Arcadia. While this school may not be able to teach you at your level..." The principal took a breath and got on his knees "We hope you stay with us!"

Ms. Deathora did the same "You are a wonderful child Kian, we would hate to lose you"

Kian looked at them both with a surprised expression, but it softened quickly. "Why would I leave? My friends are here and I'm sure my journey here isn't done yet" He smiled "I'm not leaving anytime soon!"

Both adults laughed although it was more so a sigh of relief. "In 4 days we'll be sending our students into the first of eves to test them, of course well have healers and high ranking mages to help. We want you to come to further test you."

Kian nodded "Okay! I'm up... Wait 4 days?"

Kian remembered what the King of Monsters said, in 5 days he'd start his feast, a day just passed so that doom was only 4 days away. Kian swallowed "O-okay... I'm ready!"

Once they dismissed him he went to his room. He thought about everything, what was he going to do. He looked at his hand and his mind got an idea started. "I'LL USE REVERTO!!!"

A familiar golden ball came from his hand and onto the bed as Larissa came forth. "I wouldn't do that if I were you"

"Why not, I can help them!" Kian clenched both fists.

"Reverto is an extremely helpful spell, but because of that, it takes a while lot to use it. The first time has no affect, but after? Mana is consumed and/or your own life." She looked at him with a sorry expression and put her hand on his chest "But there is a way to help them" She looked at his hand with the symbol. She grabbed his hand and held it up. "I want you to channel your mana to it"

"But what if I destroy the room?" He looked at her and the room which was pretty tidy.

"I'll stop it, trust me." She looked him in the eyes and Kian sighed

"Okay fine, let's do this" He closed his eyes and tried to direct his mana flow to his hand then to the symbol.

Larissa saw the glow after a some time and whispered in his ear "Now think of a ball of great energy"

He did so and opened his eyes as he saw a big ball of golden energy in front of his hand.

"This, is close to Blastos, except it's more dangerous." She leaned on him which made him slightly uncomfortable "Now try to shrink it by slowly closing your hand"

He did just that and he felt as if it was really resisting to the change as it shrunk. The ball became very chaotic as well. "Wow!"

"Good, now when we go outside we'll practice more, but for now" She laid him down and kissed his forehead "You need to rest up." She tucked him in and left into the same golden energy and went into his hand.

May walked to her room and sat down at her desk. She looked at the pictures of her family, her mother, her father, her little sister and brother and her big sister. She had left their homeland to learn about Magic because she wanted to be like her big sister, plus she wanted to have an extremely powerful husband.

Through her 14 years of living she hadn't found anyone strong and if they were strong they were terrible people. She didn't want that, when she came to The school of Arcadia she expected someone and found Arthur, but for 1 he wasn't in the slightest interested and also he didn't have mana which was essential for Fox Demi-humans.

But then, she found one. One boy with a pure heart and a dream of a good person. He wanted to save other's even at the cost of his own life.

She got up and laid on her bed with her tail around her blushing. Not only was this boy pure he was extremely powerful. He destroyed a threat most had a problem with and handled a Necromancer on his own for a bit.

She yawned as she slowly started to drift off to sleep.

The next day, Selene and May were looking for Kian, but couldn't find him. That is until they heard explosions, they looked and saw Kian and Arthur who had came back this morning.

"What are they doing?" Selene asked as she floated down towards them.

May leaped towards them as she watched both engage in a swordfight. It was clear Arthur was holding back though.

"Come on Kian, try harder!"

Kian kept striking, but it wasn't enough to deflect or cause much damage. Arthur swung up once and the sword flew out of Kian's hands.

May walked up "Why aren't you using that Goddesses sword?"

Both boys pointed at an area where the forest was destroyed. "That's what it is capable of."

"We should all train!" Kian yelled

"That wouldn't be bad wouldn't it?" Arthur sat down with his sword.

"Ooo this could be interesting" May said wagging her tail.

The four got into position because their set goal was to beat Arthur.

Kazuya and Mimi were walking through the streets towards the main part of the capital. She told him she'd pay him back if he walked with her to a certain store.

"So, this store. What does it have?"

"Oh, loads of things, even... Slaves"

Kazuya stopped and looked at her "What do you mean?"

"What? Slave? A slave is a-"

"No I mean, why does this store have slaves."

"Oh calm down I'm not buying any"

He grabbed her "MIMI, JUST WHAT STORE IS THIS?!"

"... It's... Okay listen. I made a deal with this guy saying that if he saved me from some guys the. I'd pay him. So as you know I'm not good with repaying people, so I just ran, but he and his people are looking for me and um... Are threatening to make me a... Slave."

"So why do you need me? To protect you?"

"And/or help me pay..." She pressed her fingers together with a hopeful smile.

"Mimi... I'm broke, also WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS DOING THIS?!"

"Waaah! I don't know!"

"Dang it, you Cat! Just stop making deals!" She grabbed her again and shook her. Then he let go with a sigh. "Let's go"

She lead him to the store which was in a more deserted area. He walked inside and saw some men in cloaks and clothing that bad people would generally wear.

There were cages with slaves of all races inside and around on shelf's was... Parts of creatures or races. This was surly one place you didn't want to be at.

One guy was sharpening a knife. "I see you brought a girl."

"Go ahead and scram elf girl, we only want the kitty"

Kazuya stepped in front of Mimi "Correction, I'm a boy. And this "Kitty" won't be in your possession anytime soon."

The man stood up with their weapons and magic ready. Kazuya put his hands together "You guys must think I'm an ordinary elf. Sorry to break it to ya, but that's not even close!" Magic energy surged around him. "You see, I held back in the attack at the capital, because of the casualties I could cause, but now I really don't care. Mimi, step back."
