The novel described that Eleanore was overwhelmed by jealousy and had bullied Stella a few times. On the day of the Crown Prince's Birthday Banquet, Caelesties Lancaster killed Eleanore, who pushed Stella down the balcony, gravely injuring the female lead.
Eleanore's fingers clenched onto her shiny golden hair, feeling disgusted by the thought of dying by the hands of the character she adored.
"That dumb author, what was he thinking giving me the body of this irrelevant villainess' character." She slapped her hand on the dressing table, causing everything on it to shatter apart and colliding to the floor.
"Goodness! He should have made me the female lead. That way I would have loved Caelestis and his destiny would have changed— Aggh!" Eleanore wanted to complain more but was interrupted by the entry of another character of this novel.
"Elle!" She turned around on hearing a sweet voice calling out her name. The one that stood in front of her was a handsome man, with similar golden hair, a bit less shiny and eye-catching than Eleanore's. His eyes were also a shade similar to her crimson eyes, but were more pink than the deep red of her eyes that almost matched the color of the villain.
"Are you okay? Elle?" He approached Eleanore and held her arms to look for any scratches from the glass bottles of those expensive perfumes that had been completely ruined. However, that was the least of his concerns.
"Everyone leave." He ordered. Once everyone in the room who had come along with him left, along with Marina, he gently helped Eleanore sit on the couch and then held her hands between his two palms. "Are you angry?"
"Why?" She asked, absolutely unaware of where the conversation was heading.
"Elle, I know you are angry because Caelestis refused to be your partner for the upcoming ball." He said, with concern brimming out of his tiny yet attractive eyes, he continued, "but it's fine my dear little sister. You are the most beautiful woman in this empire, you can get anyone other than that jackass."
"What?" Eleanore's expression changed from confusion to feeling somewhat unimaginable about the situation. "Brother, I am no longer interested in him."
For a while the room was filled with silence, as both the siblings worked on understanding the words that each had spitted out of their big mouths.
"What?" His eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Really?"
"Wait!" Eleanore interrupted. "Which ball are you talking about?"
"Do you not remember? Elle?" Hael was shocked by that. If he doesn't remember it wrong, Eleanore had been diligently preparing for the ball. Moreover, she had almost done a selection of her new accessories and the custom made royal blue dress.
Eleanore's excitement for the crown prince's ball vanished when Caelestis' letter arrived last night, rejecting her proposal of appearing in the ball as her partner.
Eleanore was overwhelmed by the rejection, she had never experienced before and had fallen asleep with heavy tears shedding out of her eyes.
"Brother! Please you can act all shocked and stuff later. First answer my question." Eleanore asked in desperation.
"The crown prince's birthday banquet." He replied. Eleanore gulped, cold sweat had covered her entire face.
As if to taunt and scare her more, the translucent window from before, appeared in front of her again with a new notification.

"Brother, could you leave me alone for a while." Eleanore requested, pressing her fingers against her throbbing forehead.
"But Elle—"
"Please brother, I need to organize my thoughts." She explained.
Unwillingly, Hael left the room, after glancing at a fearsome Eleanore from over his shoulder.
Eleanore fell into a deep thought. She was contemplating on finding a way to stop Calestis from kidnapping Stella. Is there a way?
Immediately her eyes gleamed with a ray of hope.
'Thankfully, it turns out the system is on my side. Which means it will help me save Caelestis from the male lead and help me live as well. This is going to be very easy. I will meet up with Stella tomorrow and apologize to her then after Caelestis confesses to her, I will not push her down from the balcony like the original Eleanore. This way neither I will die nor Stella will be kidnapped. As simple as that.'
||Quest 1: Prevent Stella's Kidnapping.
Do you accept this quest?
Yes| No ||
Eleanore got up from the couch, her eyes shining with a glimmer of hope and her hand curling into a fist, cheering her to fight.
With determination, she accepted the quest. "Yes"
_______
"Stella." A husky voice called her out. Stella turned around to find her best friend standing at the door of her new boutique shop. She switched off her stitching machine and turned around her rolling chair to look at him.
Caelestis walked elegantly towards her and once close enough kneeled to the ground. He then extended his right hand in front of Stella's face then said, "Stella, would you mind being my partner at the crown prince's birthday banquet?" He asked with a gentle smile on his handsome face.
Stella laughed out loud at it, making Caelestis frown. "Stella, this is not a joke." He declared, in an intense sounding voice, making Stella shut up.
She gulped and then calmed her racing heart, "I told you Caelestis, you should be going to ball with someone like— someone like— maybe Eleanore Sinclair, not me. I am just an orphan, I will look horrible sharing the dance floor with you." She explained, then left her seat and walked down to the small parlor in the corner.
"I do not care who you are. Moreover, didn't the emperor grant you a noble title last month? Does that not give you equal footing to me?" Caelestis asked, arranging his heavy clothes, which he hated putting up with, but chose to struggle in them for Stella.
Stella picked up the hot tea pot that she had put on the stove a few minutes ago, and placed it in a tray along with two tea cups of the matching set. After setting the sitting area table, Stella invited Caelestis to have a cup of tea with her.
"Come. Have a cup of tea." She said, in a sweet tone, melting the anger in Caelestis almost immediately.
He pulled back a wooden chair opposite the other and then comfortably arranged himself on it.
Stella elegantly poured the green tea that Caelestis had gifted her, with the perfect amount of sugar, one that Caelestis prefers.
"You still haven't forgotten my preference." He said taking a sip of the hot tea, which helped him relax his destructive emotions.
"Haha! Of course, I haven't. I wouldn't want to see you go all annoyed over a single cup of tea, like the first time we met." She said, picking up her cup.
"Annoyed, I was never annoyed. It's just that I like things the way I have had them since my childhood." He replied with a smile, which vanishes within seconds, as his words remind him of his childhood.
Stella had realized it too. She placed back her cup to its place and then moved back to work. When her machine started making the regular humming sound, Caelestis came back from his past. He looked at Stella and giggled a little.
"You don't have to do that." Caelestis said, bringing back his lost smile.
"You do not like talking about it." Stella stopped the machine again feeling sad about not being able to ask what bothered him so much.
"I like you Stella. You are my best friend but this is still difficult for me. Talking about my past" His voice sounded like a whisper, but loud enough for Stella to hear and sense a hint of sadness in it.
"I know. Maybe sometime in the future you will be able to open up." She turned to Caelestis with a bright fake smile covering her gentle face.
"Don't you have work, Caelestis?" She asked, completing the final stitch on the last and most expensive dress of the day.
"I am never free from work."
Stella picked up the royal blue dress to a mannequin, to iron the beautiful gown, so that she could deliver it today. "I see, so you ditched Victor again? I pity him, truly."
"He will take care of everything, like always." He said, when a giggle left his mouth. "I can imagine him crying out my name in exhaustion, every thirty minutes."
