After dinner, Mu Tianyang still hadn't come back, and Wanqing was glad to enjoy the peace. He was probably on a date with Caiyan. Hopefully, he would soon let her leave this place for good...
She kept working on her homework until 11 PM, when the alarm she had set rang. Since the last incident, she'd been setting an alarm to avoid accidentally losing track of time and giving him an excuse to criticize her.
Turning off the alarm, she hesitated. There were still two questions left to solve—should she finish them? Maybe he wouldn't come back tonight, just like the previous night. But she wasn't alone in the villa; Zhang Ma and the two bodyguards could easily act as his informants. If he found out, who knew what he might do.
With a sigh, Wanqing packed up her books and returned to her room.
While taking a shower, she heard sounds from outside and realized he had returned. Panicked, she hurried to rinse off the soap suds. Before she could finish, Mu Tianyang entered the bathroom.
"You're back?" Wanqing froze slightly, her movements stiff. She dared not shield herself or appear nervous in front of him, so she turned her back.
Mu Tianyang responded with a simple "Mm." When she glanced at him, she noticed the faint smell of alcohol on him. He wasn't drunk, just lightly tipsy.
He stood in front of the mirror brushing his teeth. Wanqing quietly finished rinsing and grabbed her pajamas to put them on. Just as she was about to leave, Mu Tianyang spoke.
"How's the new school?"
"It's… good," Wanqing replied hesitantly, pausing in her steps. She thought about Mu Tianxue, the girl she'd met at school, and wanted to ask him about her. But surely, he wouldn't answer. Most likely, he'd just scold her for overstepping. After all, what right did she have to concern herself with his affairs?
Mu Tianyang put down his toothbrush and said, "Come over and scrub my back."
"Oh..." Wanqing tugged at her pajamas nervously and walked over to him. He tilted her chin up and kissed her, forcefully invading her lips in a domineering way.
When he let go, he leaned against the sink, a smirk on his face. "How does it taste?"
"Uh… what?" Wanqing was startled, looking up at him in confusion. He seemed to be in a particularly good mood.
"This toothpaste is pretty refreshing," he said casually, then waved his hand. "Go run the bath."
Realizing he was about to undress, Wanqing quickly turned and rushed to fill the bathtub, keeping her back to him to avoid seeing anything she shouldn't. Moments later, she felt him wrap his arms around her from behind. Her body stiffened—she knew he wasn't wearing anything.
"After sleeping with me so many times, you're still not used to it?" he teased, his lips brushing her ear. "Wanqing… tell me, do you feel good when I'm doing you?"
"Ah!" Wanqing screamed in shock, wriggling out of his hold. "You… you should hurry up and take your bath; the water's ready..." How could he say such things? Such vulgar words—she didn't want to hear them!
Mu Tianyang chuckled, lowering his head close to her face. "You don't like hearing that? Should I ask if you 'enjoyed it' instead?"
"Stop it!" Wanqing closed her eyes, pleading with him in distress.
"So it's okay to do but not to say, huh..." Mu Tianyang flicked her nose playfully. "Just teasing you! If you don't like it, I won't say it again—but only if you don't make me angry."
Wanqing was stunned. Why was he suddenly so agreeable? She opened her eyes in confusion, only to see him standing naked in front of her. Her gaze accidentally landed on a place it shouldn't have, and she immediately shut her eyes in panic.
Mu Tianyang laughed heartily before sinking into the bathtub.
After a few seconds, Wanqing cautiously opened her eyes and knelt down to scrub his back. He watched her intently, making her feel extremely uneasy, so she kept her head down.
Suddenly, his phone rang. He said, "Bring it to me."
Wanqing stood up to get the phone and saw the caller ID: "Ding Caiyan." Her hands trembled, almost dropping the phone.
She handed it to him nervously, and he instructed, "Take off your clothes and get in." Then he answered the call.
