Land of Rain
Yuta and Orochimaru were both heading towards the headquarters of the Akatsuki.
As for Sasori?
He was currently being held in Konoha.
The core in his chest had been marked with the Flying Thunder God technique, so there was no worry about him escaping.
Not to mention, Sasori only wants to quickly repair the puppets that were damaged now.
His most prized Third Kazekage puppet was nearly destroyed, and dozens of puppets were also obliterated.
For him, repairing his puppets was the priority right now.
The main reason Yuta brought Orochimaru along was to have him lead the way.
"Yuta-kun, are you really not planning summon the First Hokage?" Orochimaru asked in his hoarse voice.
Orochimaru excitedly said, "The White Zetsu can likely be split into more clones. If you use that as a sacrifice to summon the First Hokage, perhaps you could even summon him with his peak strength."
Orochimaru's eyes gleamed with anticipation. He really wanted to see the peak strength of the God of Shinobi.
Previously, he had seen how Yuta had used White Zetsu clones as sacrifices to summon Senju Tobirama and Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Their strength was almost equal to their peak strength.
With Edo Tensei, the strength of the summoned does not change based on the caster. The issue is the offering.
The White Zetsu clone was the perfect offering for Edo Tensei.
Yuta said without looking at Orochimaru, "If you have the courage, grab a White Zetsu yourself and summon the First Hokage."
"If you die in my hands, it doesn't matter to me. I'll just revive you again through Edo Tensei."
Even if he used White Zetsu to summon Senju Hashirama, Edo Tensei Senju Hashirama wouldn't be able to use his peak strength.
And there was no need for all that trouble anyway. A Wooden clone could defeat a Kage level ninja with ease.
"Cough, never mind." Orochimaru responded awkwardly.
If he summoned the Second Hokage and he broke free from his control, he might have a chance to escape.
But if the First Hokage breaks free, he likely won't survive.
Orochimaru wondered, "Why is White Zetsu clone so suitable as a sacrifice for Edo Tensei?"
"In terms of strength, the White Zetsu clone doesn't seem that powerful."
The strength of the summoned depends on both the deceased's strength and the quality of the sacrifices.
Typically, the stronger the sacrifice, the closer the summoned body will be to their peak strength.
"Perhaps it's because of Yang Release." Yuta thought for a moment and explained.
"Edo Tensei summons the soul of the dead from the Pure Land, and the soul's chakra is primarily Yin."
"The body of the White Zetsu clone has Yang Release, and when combined with Yin, it allows the strength of the Edo Tensei body to be fully exerted."
He recalled that in the original timeline, Madara had injected Hashirama's cells into the Gedo Statue, which led to the creation of White Zetsu.
These White Zetsu were likely dormant in the Gedo Statue, a tool from the Infinite Tsukuyomi centuries ago.
It was the Hashirama cells that awakened White Zetsu.
Maybe that's why, when a White Zetsu clone dies, a tree grows in its place.
"Yin and Yang fusion..." Orochimaru muttered, his eyes glinting slightly.
The bloodlines of Uchiha, Senju and Uzumaki correspond to Yin and Yang.
What if they merge?
What would happen then?
Could this be why Yuta is so strong?
Drip! Drip!
Cold raindrops began to fall.
"We're almost there." Orochimaru said while wiping the rain from his face.
He said, "It always rains when I come here. I wonder if Pain considered this when he chose this location."
Rain can wash away any traces, making it perfect for when the Akatsuki needs to retreat in an emergency.
The rain helps ensure that any pursuers lose them.
"No, it's quite the opposite." Yuta remarked.
He looked up at the rain and turned towards a particular direction.
Orochimaru was still talking, "Because they chose this location for the headquarters, it rains all year round here..."
Yuta interrupted him, "Move, they've already spotted us."
In the rain, Yuta sensed a faint chakra.
This wasn't normal rain but one created by ninjutsu.
Pain likely used a technique called the Rainmaker Technique to control the rain.
When Yuta spoke, Orochimaru's face immediately changed.
"Pain has found us? But we're still more than ten miles away from their base. How could he have detected us from this far?"
Yuta replied calmly, "Pain is strong but I don't know exactly how strong he us."
Orochimaru's spirits lifted. He had once been easily defeated by Pain with a single move.
While he knew Pain was strong, he had no idea about the true extent of his power.
Orochimaru asked, "Yuta-kun, are you really confident in dealing with the legendary Rinnegan?"
If Yuta can't hold off Pain, Pain will definitely go after him.
After all, he led Yuta to the Akatsuki. So, Pain will definitely try to attack him.
"Rinnegan is powerful, but it depends on who wields it." Yuta answered without worry.
While Nagato could use the Rinnegan, he wasn't the true master of its power.
Not to mention, Nagato lacked the strength to fully wield Rinnegan's abilities, such as the Limbo Hengoku.
Yuta was confident that with his complete body Susanoo, he could handle the situation.
The primary reason Yuta came here was to eliminate Itachi.
Secondly, he wanted to try and reason with Nagato to see if he could bring the Akatsuki under his control.
But if Nagato refused to cooperate peacefully, he'd just use the Susanoo to force him to listen.
