Eren's eyes widened in horror as he took in the carnage that surrounded him. The school yard, once a place of laughter and learning, was now a scene of utter devastation. Bodies of students and teachers lay scattered everywhere, their limbs twisted at unnatural angles, their faces frozen in perpetual screams.
Eren's mind reeled in shock as he stumbled backward, his eyes fixed on the gruesome scene before him. He had forgotten to run, forgotten to escape. He was paralyzed with fear, unable to move or speak.
Just as he was about to succumb to his fear, a creature emerged from behind him, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Eren felt a cold dread creeping up his spine as the creature raised its claws, ready to strike.
But just as all hope seemed lost, the monster who had asked for his love appeared out of nowhere, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination. She intercepted the creature's attack, her long, flowing hair whipping around her like a living thing.
The creature let out a blood-curdling screech as the monster tore into it, her claws ripping through its flesh with ease. Eren watched in awe as the monster dispatched the creature with a swift and deadly efficiency.
As the creature lay motionless on the ground, the monster turned to Eren, her eyes burning with an intense passion.
"Come with me, Eren," she whispered, her voice husky and seductive. "I will keep you safe from all of this. I will protect you, and I will love you."
Eren felt a shiver run down his spine as he gazed into the monster's eyes. He knew that he should be afraid of her, that he should be repulsed by her monstrous form. But instead, he felt a strange sense of fascination, a sense of wonder that he couldn't quite explain.
As the monster reached out to him, Eren felt himself being drawn into her embrace, felt himself being swept up in a tide of emotion that he couldn't control. He knew that he was taking a terrible risk, that he was surrendering himself to a monster who might destroy him at any moment.
But he couldn't help himself. He was drawn to her, moth-like, helpless to resist her charms. And as he fell into her arms, he knew that he was doomed, that he would never be able to escape the monster's love.
The monster wrapped her arms around Eren, holding him close as she seemed to fade into the shadows. Eren felt a strange sensation, as if he was being pulled through space and time. When they finally stopped, Eren found himself in a small, dimly lit room. The walls were made of cold, grey stone, and the air was musty and dank.
Eren looked around, trying to get his bearings. The monster stood beside him, her eyes gleaming in the faint light.
"Where are we?" Eren asked, his voice shaking slightly.
The monster smiled, her lips curling up in a gentle smile. "You are safe now, Eren," she said. "This is a place where you will not be harmed."
Eren took a deep breath, trying to calm down. He looked at the monster, his eyes searching for answers.
"What was happening back there?" he asked. "What were those creatures?"
The monster's smile faltered, and she looked away. "I don't know," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what those creatures are, or where they came from. But I do know that they are not of this world."
Eren's eyes widened in surprise. "Not of this world?" he repeated.
The monster nodded. "Yes. They are something... else. Something that does not belong here."
Eren's mind was racing with questions, but before he could ask any of them, the monster spoke again.
"You are safe now, Eren," she said. "You will stay here with me, and I will protect you from harm."
Eren looked at the monster, unsure of what to make of her words. He was grateful to be safe, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he was trapped.
"What about you?" He asked her. "What are you and how did you end up here?"
"Do you believe in demons?" She asked him.
Though surprised by her question, Eren went ahead to answer it. "I don't. They don't exist."
The monster laughed shortly before continuing. "Demons are creatures that existed even before the creation of you humans. We were once in power until they casted us away and we were forced to live our life in constant fear of being annihilated by them."
"Who are they?" Eren asked her.
"The gods of course," she replied with a scowl on her face. "They have driven us to the edge many times and yet, they won't let us breathe. They want to make sure our race is completely wiped out."
"But why? Why would they do something so evil?" Eren asked with a frown on his face. After things went soar for him, he began to believe that heavens were being unkind to him, they deprived him of everything he cared about and made him live a lonely life. But even at that, he wouldn't have believed that they would go as far as wanting to clean a whole race.
"Because they are afraid," she replied.
"Afraid?" Eren asked, astonished. Why would the gods be scared of the demons? Aren't they said to be the strongest beings in the whole universe.
"They are afraid that we will become more powerful than them and if that happens, they stand no chance to defeat us," she explained.
Eren's eyes widened in surprise as he listened to the monster's words. He had always thought of the gods as all-powerful, benevolent beings who looked out for the well-being of humans. But now, he was being told that they were afraid of the demons, and that they wanted to wipe out the entire demon race.
"Why are you telling me this?" Eren asked her.
The monster's expression softened, and she looked at Eren with a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Because I want you to understand me," she said. "I want to be accepted, to be loved and assured that everything will be fine. I don't have to be scared of my own shadows."
Eren felt a pang of sympathy for the monster, and he looked at her with new eyes. He saw the pain and the sadness in her eyes, and he realized that she was not just a monster, but someone who craved attention just like him.
"What is your name?" Eren asked, his voice soft and gentle.
The monster's expression changed, and she looked at Eren with a hint of surprise. "My name is Lilith," she said. "And I have been waiting for you, Eren. I have been waiting for you for a very long time."
"But why me, Lilith? Why me?" Eren asked her. He wondered why a powerful being like her would come for him. Does it mean that there aren't powerful demons among them that suits her taste? Why should it be him?
"Because you are special, right from your birth."
