Henry's hands clenched into fists, his nails digging into his skin. His entire body tensed as he glared at Liam.
"What the hell are you doing here, Liam?" Henry spat, his voice sharp.
Liam didn't even look at him.
Instead, he smirked and turned to Kate. "So, Miss Kate, what brings you here?"
Henry's eye twitched. "Are you ignoring me?"
Liam let out a chuckle, then finally turned his gaze to Henry. "Shut the fuck up, Mr. Perfect."
Henry's muscles tensed. He took a step forward, but before he could lunge, Kate quickly stepped between them.
"No!" she pleaded, placing a hand on his chest. "Not now. Please don't fight."
Henry exhaled sharply through his nose but forced himself to stay still.
Kate turned to Liam. "Michael's here too. Let's just focus on finding your brother."
Liam raised an eyebrow. "Your brother? You mean Noah?" He let out a short laugh, shaking his head.
"Wow... What a psycho you are, Henry," Liam said. "Looking for the same brother you bullied until he ran away? That's rich."
Henry's entire body stiffened.
Liam clapped his hands together mockingly. "So let me get this straight. You torment your own brother to the point where he runs away… and now you're acting all concerned? What's the plan? Is this some kind of guilt trip? Or are you just putting on a show for Kate?"
Henry's breath grew heavier. His hands shook at his sides.
"You piece of shit," he growled, voice low and dangerous. "You don't know anything about my family."
Liam smirked. "Chill, Mr. Perfect. No need to get so worked up."
Kate grabbed Liam's arm. "Liam, please stop."
But it was too late.
Henry snapped.
With a growl, he lunged forward and swung a punch aimed straight at Liam's face.
Liam dodged just in time, stepping back, but Henry didn't stop. He rushed in again, throwing another punch.
This time, Liam caught his wrist mid-air.
Before Henry could react, Liam twisted his arm and yanked him forward, slamming his knee into Henry's stomach.
Henry gasped as the air was knocked out of his lungs.
But he wasn't going down that easily.
Ignoring the pain, he pulled back his other fist and punched Liam across the jaw.
Liam's head snapped to the side, his smirk finally dropping.
Henry didn't waste time. He tackled Liam to the ground.
The two boys crashed into the dirt, rolling over each other, fists swinging wildly.
Liam grabbed Henry's collar and flipped them over, pinning Henry beneath him.
He threw a punch.
Henry turned his head just in time, the fist grazing his cheek.
With a grunt, Henry pushed up with his legs and rolled them over again, getting back on top.
This time, he drove his fist into Liam's ribs—once, twice.
Liam gritted his teeth but didn't let himself stay down.
He kicked his knee up, hitting Henry in the stomach and knocking him off.
Henry stumbled back, clutching his stomach.
Liam wiped his mouth and grinned. "That all you got?"
Henry growled. He charged again.
Liam ducked under the punch, stepped to the side, and kicked Henry's leg out from under him.
Henry lost his balance and fell to one knee, but before Liam could take advantage, Henry shot up and rammed his shoulder into Liam's chest.
Liam staggered backward, but quickly recovered and threw a powerful punch.
This time, Henry wasn't fast enough.
Liam's fist smashed into his jaw.
Henry's head snapped to the side, pain exploding through his skull.
He barely had time to react before Liam followed up with another hit to the ribs.
Henry coughed, gripping his side.
Michael stood frozen, watching in horror. Kate covered her mouth, eyes wide with panic.
Henry wiped the blood from his lip, breathing heavily. "I swear to god, I'm gonna—"
Liam grabbed him by the shirt and slammed him against a tree.
Henry groaned as his back hit the rough bark.
Liam leaned in close. "You can't win, Henry," he whispered. "You never could."
Henry gritted his teeth. "Shut the hell up."
With all his strength, he pushed off the tree and headbutted Liam in the face.
Liam stumbled back, caught off guard for the first time.
Henry used the opening and tackled him again.
They both hit the ground, rolling, fists swinging.
Liam managed to get a knee up and shove Henry off.
Both boys stood, breathing heavily, bruises already forming.
Just as they were about to charge at each other again—
Strong hands grabbed them both and yanked them apart.
"What the hell are you kids doing?!"
Henry barely registered the words. His ears were ringing. His vision was blurry.
An adult held him back. Another one grabbed Liam's arm.
"You're both coming with us," one of them said. "Fighting isn't allowed."
Henry's head lolled to the side. His entire body ached.
Then, through his blurry vision, he saw something that made his blood boil.
Liam was smirking.
Even after all that—**he was still smiling.**
