Ethan nodded. "The code is a signal," he said. "It means that Alex is working to take down The Syndicate from the inside."

Sarah's eyes narrowed. "But can we trust him?" she asked.

Ethan hesitated, unsure of what to think. "I don't know," he said. "But we have to try."

As they pondered their next move, Ethan's phone buzzed with an incoming message. He hesitated before answering, unsure of who was on the other end.

But as he read the message, his heart skipped a beat. It was from Alex.

"Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight," the message read. "Come alone."

Ethan's eyes locked onto the message, his mind racing with the implications. What did Alex want? And could he be trusted?
