The apocalypse has come and gone, claiming humanity with it. All humans have had their 'Souls' stolen and claimed by monsters - vampires, demons, zombies - you name it. 

Reborn as Barnacles (Barns for short), the once-legendary hero claws his way back to strength under the tutelage of the gluttonous King Crab, a sentient crustacean with more vice than virtue in his shell.  

Follow Barns' journey as he rediscovers his power of rebirth, which when combined with a little 'crab magic' has the power to reset humans back to their original selves. 

It's time to take a crack at resetting the apocalypse.

Haima's House, 4AM -

Haima stares at her bedroom ceiling, watching the fan spin round and round. She's too distracted to sleep. The shuffling of Barns down the hall keeps her awake.

She was sensitive to the things around her - blood, flesh, and bone specifically. And from the room Barns was staying the night in, she could sense the tension and unease in his blood.

All her life, it is as if she has a constant 3D scan of every living creature near her. Respectively, she could sense Barns' frustration as he rolls around in the sheets.
