Chapter 8

However, she didn't know how I could live on with my heart brutally ripped out.

Suddenly, Aria remembered something.

She stood up and asked her colleague.

"What about the body?"

Her colleague replied with indifference.

"No idea, it's probably been dealt with."

My body had been in the morgue for several days, with no one coming to claim it.

Upon hearing this, Aria immediately ran towards the morgue.

She didn't know how to convince herself.

But she had to see my body to believe I was really gone.

Aria jogged all the way, reaching her destination.

She inquired about me to the person on guard.

But that person wasn't sure either.

Just as Aria was about to leave empty-handed, someone walked past her.

Aria recognized my phone.

It had our college photo as the wallpaper.

Aria grabbed the person's hand.

"Where did you get this phone?"

The person caught was an orderly.

She had taken it from my bag.

Seeing Aria's white coat, the orderly didn't dare lie to her.
