The next morning, I felt a little better.

As Kira and Mira entered the room, they greeted, "Good morning, Luna."

I had a pleasant smile on my face.

A real one.

"Good morning to you, too. "

As I replied back, I noticed their faces. Their expression was not usual like before.

Even Mira, who already had a neutral expression, seemed to be in a not-so-good mood.

"What happened to you both?"

The girls first glanced at each other as if contemplating whether to tell me or not. Their hesitation stirred something in me.

My instincts went up, alarming me.

"Tell me." My voice came harder than I expected.

Kira scratched the back of her head as she started, "Last night, when you came back from Alpha's room, some servants saw you..."

Her voice trailed off, as she side eyed her sister. Mira took in a deep breath as she continued, "Some rumours have been spread around."
