I asked this misterous woman with a rough voice, "How much longer?"

She replied calmly, "Calm down, Joseph. We'll be there soon."

Without warning, she jumped down from the rooftop, and I followed suit. She knocked on the door, and I entered beside her.

A woman appeared before us, and I immediately sensed that she was human. She had an otherworldly aura, unlike Lilith or myself.

The woman, , greeted with a neutral tone. "Miss Lilith, I see you've brought a friend."

Lilith smiled. "Yes Caroline , this is Joseph. He's a friend of mine, and he'll be staying with us for a while."

Caroline nodded. "Yes, Miss Lilith."

Oh so your name is Lilith huh. I said, but Lilth just smiled.

As we entered the house, Caroline mentioned cooking something for us to eat. My stomach growled at the prospect of food.

Lilith led me to the living room, where she gestured for me to sit. "Come on, Joseph. I have a lot to explain."

As I sat, I caught Caroline watching me with an intense gaze, as if sizing me up.

Lilith settled beside me on the couch. "You're controlling yourself well, despite being a newborn."

My eyes flickered at her words, and Lilith smiled. "Although I find you attractive, I have someone on my mind."

I felt a pang of surprise at her admission, but Lilith continued, "To love or to die, to hate or to love."

Her words left me feeling puzzled, but I smiled, remembering destiny's beautiful face feeling a sense of connection with her.

Just then, Lilith called out to two other women, whom I had yet to meet.

As the two women entered the room, I couldn't help but notice their striking features.

One, had long, curly brown-golden hair and piercing green eyes, while the other, had a spiky black hair and piercing red eyes.

Lilith introduced them, as katherine the woman black hair and red eyes and Elena the woman with brown golden hair and green eyes, and I sensed that they were different from her, and from me.

Katherine and Elena exchanged curious glances, and Katherine spoke up, "Well, Joseph, Lilith must have told you everything, right?"

I frowned, "Wait, how do you know my name?"

Katherine smiled, "We'll get to that later, Joseph. For now, let's just say we've been expecting you."

Lilith's eyes turned serious, "Katherine here is a Vampire , Elena here is a dragon"

My eyes widened in shock, "Wait, I thought you were the vampire, Lilith."

Lilith's expression remained serious, "No, I am a demon."

My mind reeled as I struggled to process this new information. Demons, dragons, vampires... what was going on here?

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, "What the...? Demons, dragons, vampires... what is this, some kind of fantasy novel?"

Lilith's expression softened, "This has to do with a lot of history concerning you, Joseph.

We need you back at this moment, so let's start with what the legend says. Before we get you to control your real past."

I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs, "What legend? What ?

A shiver ran down my spine as I was trying to understand what Lilith meant. .
