As Sanskriti, watching her sister leave, thought to herself, "I can't let you live in this hell anymore, Didi. I must do something soon... Just once I become fully independent, you won't have to stay here any longer."
That night, Suvesh Ji and Harsh were having dinner. Sangita Ji had already left for her home, and Soumya had fed the kids and put them to bed earlier.
Just then, Suvesh Ji received a call from Adarsh Ji. Answering it, he said, "Hello, Brother. What's the occasion for this call?"
On the other end, Adarsh Ji replied, "Hello, Brother. Actually, we've decided to agree to the proposal. Advait is ready for this alliance."
Suvesh Ji, overjoyed, said, "Oh, that's wonderful news!"
Adarsh Ji continued, "Yes, indeed. Tomorrow, our family priest will come over to find an auspicious date, and we'll let you know how to proceed. Advait wants the wedding to be very simple, so I was thinking we could arrange it at a temple with just close family members. What do you think?"
Suvesh Ji agreed, "You're absolutely right. Since it's the second marriage for both, the simpler, the better. Let's hold the ceremony at the temple. Let me know the auspicious time after the priest visits tomorrow."
After exchanging goodbyes, Adarsh Ji ended the call.
Placing the phone down with a smile, Suvesh Ji turned to Harsh and said, "They've agreed to the proposal! Their priest will come tomorrow to finalize the date."
Harsh forced a smile and said, "Wow, that's great news, Papa Ji!"
Turning to Sanskriti, Suvesh Ji sternly warned, "Nothing should go wrong there. Handle everything properly. I don't want to hear any complaints about you. Otherwise, you'll face my wrath. Understood?"
Sanskriti nodded in fear. Suvesh Ji resumed his dinner, while Soumya cast a brief angry glance at him, then lowered her gaze and stood silently.

At the Rawat House
The priest was reviewing the horoscopes while everyone else sat nearby, except for Advait, who had already left for the office.
After a while, the priest declared, "The horoscopes align very well, and since you need an early date, next Sunday is highly auspicious."
Hearing this, Sunanda Ji worriedly said, "How will we manage everything in just one week?"
Adarsh Ji interrupted, "It's a simple wedding, as Advait wanted. Everything will fall into place. Have you forgotten what he said?"
Sunanda Ji sighed deeply and fell silent.
After giving the priest his fees and discussing a few more details, Adarsh Ji called Suvesh Ji to inform him of the date. He then instructed everyone to begin preparations before retreating to his room. Meanwhile, Mahir, who had been playing with Aksh and Anvi on the carpet, kissed their cheeks, bid goodbye to Ishika and Sunanda Ji, and left for the office.

Suvesh Ji announced the wedding date with joy. Hearing this, tears welled up in Sanskriti's eyes. She knew she had to marry Advait no matter what, but she had never expected it to happen so soon.
Time flew by. During this period, Advait and Sanskriti didn't speak at all. However, thanks to Mahir and Ishika, Sanskriti had started talking to Anvi. Mahir and Ishika often made video calls, letting Sanskriti chat with Anvi without Advait knowing. Talking to Anvi allowed Sanskriti to momentarily forget her worries.
Meanwhile, the rest of the family busied themselves with wedding preparations. Since Advait had insisted on a simple temple ceremony, everyone had agreed, though some arrangements were still being made. Before they knew it, the week had passed, and the wedding day arrived.

Today was Advait and Sanskriti's wedding. Advait was reluctantly getting ready in his room when his gaze fell on a photo of Savani. Walking over to the picture, he touched it gently and said, "Do you remember, Vani, our wedding day? You wanted a simple ceremony, while I wanted a grand destination wedding to show the world that you were mine. In the end, I had to give in to your wishes. I still remember the day you walked in dressed as my bride..."
Flashback
Savani sat in a hotel room, dressed in a red bridal lehenga, as a makeup artist worked on her. Just then, her phone buzzed with a message. Smiling shyly, she checked it to find a text from Advait.
Advait: Send me a picture, Vani. I can't wait anymore. 🥺
Savani replied with a smile: Be patient, dear. Good things come to those who wait.
Advait: But how will I know if this patience will be worth it? 🤔
Savani: What do you mean?
Advait: I mean, you've never kissed me. How will I know if the wait is sweet or not? 😉
Reading his reply, Savani blushed and texted back: Bye! I'm busy right now.
Advait: That's not fair, Vani! You can't do this to me! 😔
The makeup artist, noticing Savani's shy smiles, teased, "Your fiancé seems to love you a lot."
Blushing, Savani smiled openly.
Later, her mother, Neelima Ji, entered, teary-eyed, and performed the traditional ritual of warding off the evil eye. "You look so beautiful, my child," she said emotionally.
Savani smiled and replied, "You look beautiful too, Mumma."
Neelima Ji said, "They're calling you downstairs. Are you ready?"
Adjusting her lehenga, Savani nodded, "Yes, Mumma. But where are Papa and Sahil?"
Neelima Ji scolded her playfully, "He's your younger brother, not 'Motu.' Your father and Sahil are downstairs attending to the guests. Sahil will escort you to the stage. Now come, all your cousins are waiting for you outside."

As the music played and the spotlight focused on the staircase, Savani descended gracefully, her cousins flanking her on either side. Dressed in a red bridal lehenga with intricate jewelry, she looked breathtaking. Advait couldn't take his eyes off her, his heart racing.
Mahir whispered teasingly, "Brother, stop staring, or you'll jinx her."
Hearing his words, Advait blushed and glared at him, causing Mahir to smile mischievously. Meanwhile, Sahil approached Savani, carefully holding her lehenga, and began guiding her toward the stage.
Reaching the front of the stage, Sahil bowed respectfully and said, "From now on, this trouble is all yours, Jeeju."
Advait laughed at his words and then smiled, extending his hand toward Savani, who was glaring at Sahil angrily.
Seeing Advait's outstretched hand, Savani shyly lowered her gaze and placed her hand in his. Advait gently helped her onto the stage, while the music continued to play in the background.
At that moment, Neelima Ji handed the garland to Savani, while Sunanda Ji smiled and gave the garland to Advait. Savani, with her gaze lowered and a shy smile, placed the garland around Advait's neck. Advait, overjoyed, quickly placed his garland around Savani's neck as well. Watching this, Sahil made a face and said, "What, Jeeju? I thought we'd lift Didi up so you wouldn't be able to put the garland on her and would have to agree to our terms."
Advait, smiling, replied, "That's exactly why I hurried and put the garland on her. I knew you'd try something like that."
Sahil pouted at his response. Meanwhile, Sunanda Ji asked the couple to take their seats. Advait first helped Savani sit down and then took his seat beside her. While everyone else was busy, Advait leaned closer to Savani and whispered, "Good thing you didn't send me your photo. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to see your beauty live. Well, I didn't know patience could be so rewarding. Now I'm waiting for the next sweet reward."
Understanding the deeper meaning behind his words, Savani blushed and smiled. Seeing her smile, Advait smiled back and gently held her hand. Savani slowly raised her eyes to look at him, only to find him gazing at her intently. Embarrassed, she quickly lowered her eyes, which made Advait smile even more openly.

Back in the present, tears filled Advait's eyes as he touched the photo of Savani in her bridal attire. "If only you hadn't left me, Vani," he whispered. "I wouldn't be facing this day. Today, I'm getting married again, but this time, the bride isn't you."
A single tear fell from his eye onto the photo as he stood there, lost in memories.
