Chapter 15: The Wedding of Chaos and Love

The day of the wedding had finally arrived. The long months of planning, organizing, and making endless decisions had all led to this moment. But as Emma stood in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection in the wedding dress, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

"This is really happening," she whispered to herself. "I'm really getting married to Jae."

Her best friend, Mia, who was standing beside her, grinned. "Girl, you're about to marry a K-pop idol. How are you so calm?"

Emma shot her a playful look. "I'm calm because I'm pretending this isn't happening. And that I didn't almost trip over my dress when I walked down the aisle."

Mia burst out laughing. "That was hilarious! But hey, you look amazing, and Jae is going to lose it when he sees you."

Emma smiled at the thought. But she couldn't help but laugh nervously. "I just hope I don't mess anything up. It's all so… overwhelming."

Before Mia could respond, Emma's mom walked into the room, her eyes shining with emotion. "Sweetheart, you look beautiful." She walked over and hugged Emma tightly. "I'm so happy for you."

Emma's heart swelled with love for her mom. She couldn't wait to start this new chapter, not just with Jae, but with the support of her family by her side.

As Emma made her way to the venue, she couldn't help but think back to the planning process. If you had told her that her wedding day would be a mix of drama, chaos, and laughter, she would've laughed in disbelief. But boy, had it been that.

There was the time Jae insisted on having a live band playing K-pop hits. Then, there was the cake disaster when the delivery guy showed up with a cake that was three sizes too small. Emma almost had a heart attack when she saw it, but Jae—true to his calm, charismatic self—had managed to charm the bakery into making a new one in less than an hour. (Thank God for celebrity influence, she thought.)

The best moment, however, was when Jae's younger brother, who was supposed to be the best man, accidentally spilled punch on the flower girl's dress just minutes before the ceremony. It was a comedy of errors that would make anyone think they were witnessing a live sitcom. And don't even get started on the first-dance mishap when Jae accidentally stepped on Emma's foot.

"We'll laugh about it later," he had whispered through his laughter, looking apologetic as Emma winced.

"I can't feel my toes," she had teased, trying to hide her own smile.

But through all the chaos, there had been love. Deep, unconditional love that had kept them grounded.

Finally, the ceremony began. The music started playing, and Emma walked down the aisle with her father by her side. The guests stood, eyes wide, as they gazed at her. Emma felt the butterflies in her stomach as she met Jae's gaze at the altar.

Jae's smile was radiant as he saw Emma walking toward him, her dress trailing behind her like a soft cloud. It was a moment that felt frozen in time.

"Wow," Jae whispered under his breath, barely able to contain himself. "You look perfect."

Emma's cheeks flushed with warmth, and she took his hands as she reached the altar. "You're not so bad yourself," she teased, her nerves melting away.

The priest began the ceremony, but Jae, ever the mischievous one, couldn't help but whisper in her ear, "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, Emma. I'm so lucky."

Emma rolled her eyes but couldn't stop herself from grinning. "You say that now, but let's see how lucky you feel when I'm in charge of the TV remote."

"Oh, don't worry. I'm already well-trained," he said, winking at her.

The guests laughed softly, and even the priest had to clear his throat to regain his composure.

It was time for their vows. The air was thick with emotion, but Jae, ever the charmer, decided to break the tension with a little humor.

"I vow to always support you, even when you eat all the fries and leave me with the empty container," he said with a wink. "I also vow to love you, even when you steal all the blankets in the middle of the night."

Emma burst out laughing, unable to hold it in. "You're impossible."

Jae chuckled, taking her hands in his. "But you love me anyway."

Emma smiled, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill. "I do," she whispered. "I vow to love you through the chaos, the laughter, and even the times when we can't agree on what movie to watch. I promise to be your partner in everything."

Jae's eyes softened as he listened. "I vow to always make you laugh, even when life gets tough. And I vow to stand by your side forever. No matter how many times you make fun of my dancing."

The crowd laughed, and Emma playfully swatted his arm. "I was just helping you out! Your moves needed some serious guidance!"

Jae grinned. "It's because I'm saving my best moves for the honeymoon."

When the priest announced them as husband and wife, the room erupted into applause. Jae leaned in, his lips finding Emma's in a kiss that was sweet, passionate, and everything they had dreamed of.

The crowd cheered, and the moment felt like a dream. Emma was finally married to the man she loved, surrounded by friends and family, and everything felt perfect—even with all the wedding chaos.

The reception was a blur of food, laughter, and dancing. It was everything Emma had ever wanted: fun, relaxed, and full of love. Jae had insisted on the live band, and while it wasn't exactly what Emma had envisioned, she couldn't help but smile as they danced together, with Jae twirling her around the dance floor.

At one point, Jae pulled Emma close, whispering in her ear. "See? It wasn't so bad, was it?"

Emma smiled up at him, her heart full. "It was perfect. Just like us."

"Exactly," Jae said, pulling her into a tight embrace as they continued dancing. "Perfectly imperfect."
