Chapter 5

"Huh?"

"Kingsley Obinna Igwe" He said with weight in his every word.

My eyes widened in shock. The Igwes and the Adekunles were two families who were in a friendly competition of who the richest family is every year. So far, the Igwes has been winning for two years in a row. With their hands touching many industries, they have the ability the bring fruit out of every thing they decided to do.

For such a family, the patriarch no less to "want" me, you bet your mothers behind I was confused.

"Sir I-, I don't follow"

"Mr.Igwe came to have a quick lunch at the restaurant, with his assistant and bodyguard. Coincidentally, the customer conflict that was reported to me, was witnessed by him."

'The man in grey' I thought.

"He was impressed with your calm and collected composure and would like to offer you a position at the front desk and customer service in one of his companies!"

"Jesus."

Somebody should please hold me. Let me not faint.

This- this could be it! More money for my family! For me! I could make connections and finally...finally be happy.

But why me?

Surely there are other qualified people, who are professionals in that sector.

"Well?" He asked waiting for my response.

I am not rejecting such an opportunity. I'll just have to be cautious.

"What do I do?" I asked.

"A number was dropped everything will be handled by that person"

"Is there a name?"

"It's confidential for me atleast. They can reveal the name of the assistant for his safety and the safety of Mr.Igwe"

"I see..."

"You should call him when you are home, rather than here. This place is very noisy."

For such a small act, I was quite touched.

"Thank you, sir."

" I should be thanking you, really. You have proven to such a high person that my establishment is competent and we are getting an investment for expansion."

"Congratulations sir!"

"Indeed, my wife will be very happy." He said.

He quickly glanced at his watch.

"Anyways, here is the number. Goodluck!" He started walking away.

"Thank you!" I yelled back.

What a day.
