The two brown eyes woke up in the position of his body lying face down on the sofa in his reading room. Several reading books were scattered who knows where. He looked around. This was not his room that he used to occupy when he was in this house.
Slowly he moved his body muscles and yawned widely. He scratched the back of his neck that was not itchy. His eyes wandered around the reading room. Only shelves filled with books and also a table for reading there. And he also remembered that last night he chose to sleep in this room rather than in the room that had been provided by his mother.
CHECK
The door to the reading room opened. A middle-aged woman was seen walking down the stairs. The room that was indeed designed as elegantly as possible had several steps to get there.
"Rian, are you awake?" the woman named Hani smiled softly at her son. Adrian just nodded slowly without a sound answering his mother's question.
"Forgive my son, Rian. That's why you have to do this." He regretted it. His narrow eyes that already looked a little wrinkled looked sad. She really regretted her son's actions in leaving his own wife in front of the altar.
Adrian held the woman's shoulders. He stared closely at her beautiful face. "It's okay, Mom. I understand. Besides.."
Hani looked at the brown irises that were similar to her husband's.
"This way I can get what I've been aiming for all this time. Do you remember?"
Although she felt a little relieved that Adrian didn't judge her, Hani felt sorry for her youngest son. Adrian shouldn't have fought so hard for something that should have been his.
"Adrian, I will always support whatever decision you make. But don't hurt Indah. She's a good woman." She asked.
Adrian was pensive when he heard his mother's words. From the start, he never intended to hurt Indah. Not at all. It's just that he knew the risks of the decisions he made, especially if he or Indah involved feelings in it. Just imagining the tiny woman shedding tears, Adrian couldn't imagine it.
"I can't promise, Mom." He whispered.

The breakfast looked calm and peaceful. The two main chairs were filled by two Aditama couples and the other two chairs were filled by a newlywed couple who looked solemnly enjoying their breakfast.
"Brother-in-law, please get me another bowl of rice!" Adrian asked indifferently. Since last night's incident, Adrian had been reluctant to speak to Indah again until this morning in the dining room. It was as if he had created a large wall to keep his distance from his 'wife'. Honestly, he was still upset with his wife's rejection of him. It seemed that with that call, maybe his common sense would work so that he would not want the woman in his arms.
"Okay, brother-in-law." Indah replied with emphasis. Her round eyes narrowed sharply at the side of Adrian's face.
"Stop calling your wife sister-in-law, Rian. She's your wife now." Remi said as the head of the family while sipping his tea.
Adrian stared without caring about his father's words. There was no interest in him at all in hearing the advice of the old man in front of him.
"In any case, I should have called her that, because from the start she was Rama's wife." He said without interest. Then his sharp eyes turned to Indah who was grumbling silently beside him.
Hani did the same thing to Indah. "Indah, we love you very much like our own child. We will try to make you as comfortable as possible here." She said while grabbing her daughter-in-law's hand and holding it. Then Hani stepped on Adrian's foot who immediately groaned in pain silently.
"You stupid child! This is all because of your useless words."
Indah looked back at Adrian who was busy with his breakfast. For some reason, since last night, the man had been avoiding her. He never spoke to Indah again except to ask whether Rama had contacted her or not. Honestly, Adrian's attitude that seemed to distance herself made Indah even more uncomfortable. She wanted Adrian to act as he was. Not cold like now. Even last night the man preferred to sleep in the reading room rather than in the same room with her.
"I'm going." Adrian said goodbye after finishing his food. Then followed by Indah who accompanied her 'husband' to the car. A moment later, Adrian immediately turned back and grabbed the bag.
"If you object to this, you can leave here today." Adrian said curtly. Indah who heard it immediately couldn't close her mouth again.
Crazy !!! It was so easy for him to say that after what he almost did to me..
If Indah really objected to all this, she would have left since the moment Rama left her at the Altar. But, because of her good in-laws, who were able to keep her in this house as a wife whose husband was unclear.
Indah only smiled a smile that seemed forced, "You don't need to worry about that. I can handle it."
Adrian didn't give any expression. Only the flatness on his face was shown after hearing his wife's response. Then the man entered the driver's door and drove his black Mercedes at a steady speed. Before leaving the yard, Adrian continued to watch Indah who was still frozen looking at his car through the rearview mirror. There was an uncomfortable feeling in his chest because he had spoken like that to his wife.

Adrian stared indifferently at his father's words. There was no interest in him whatsoever in hearing the advice of the old man in front of him. It still felt strange for him to consider Indah as his wife completely. Moreover, he was still upset about the woman's rejection last night. For him, if Indah was willing to marry him, then her whole life was his. So was his life that he had given to Indah. But it seemed that only Adrian thought so. Who knows if the woman still expected Rama to come back again.
"However, I should have called her that, because from the start she was Rama's wife." He said without interest. Then his sharp eyes turned to Indah who was grumbling silently beside him.

"If you object to this, you can leave here today." Adrian said curtly. Indah who heard it immediately couldn't close her mouth again. But, because of her good in-laws, who were able to keep her in this house as a wife whose husband was unclear.
Crazy!!!
It was so easy for her to say that after what she almost did to me last night. Is it possible that Adrian is angry because I rejected his invitation last night?
Indah only smiled a smile that seemed forced, "You don't need to worry about that. I can handle it."

Indah could only watch Adrian's car driving away from her sight. She knew that in the end the naughty man would definitely be angry with her because she rejected him last night.
"If you want to, just say so. No need to act sulky!"
