Upon seeing the building, the viewers immediately started guessing:
"This has to be the Disease Research Center!"
"But it looks like it collapsed!"
"This Pioneer-style architecture is as eerie as ever!"
Pure White confirmed their suspicions: "This is the [Disease Research Center], where the Pioneers studied the Kara disease. As you can see, the building has collapsed, but there's a gap in the debris that we can use to enter."
With that, Pure White skillfully piloted the Sea Shrimp to the base of the collapsed structure. The audience quickly noticed the gap, but it was so small that only a person could fit through—it was impossible for the Sea Shrimp to enter.
Pure White had no choice but to eject from the Sea Shrimp and swim toward the opening.
"Here's another trap set by the dev! There's an electric eel hiding beneath the gap. This thing can release high-voltage shocks. If we swim through unprepared, we'll get zapped with 100,000 volts, and trust me, it does not feel good."
There was a hint of fear in Pure White's voice as they continued, "So, we're going to use the Stasis Rifle here."
With that, Pure White pulled out the weapon, aimed it at the gap, and fired. A massive energy field enveloped the entrance.
As Pure White swam through, the audience caught sight of the immobilized creature—a two-meter-long eel-like being, crackling with visible arcs of electricity, emitting both sound and light.
"Whoa, this thing is nothing like Earth's electric eels!"
"This thing is literally covered in lightning—touch it, and you're dead!"
"Not just dead—you'd probably burst into flames!"
"Haha, Pure White is way too experienced—this must not be their first time getting fried!"
"Yeah, I bet Pure White got electrocuted by this thing before!"
"Just swim past it quickly—it won't catch up!"
Pure White pressed forward, finally making it inside the Disease Research Center. Due to the building's collapse, the interior was flooded, and all the lights were destroyed, leaving everything in pitch-black darkness.
They switched on a flashlight, revealing a vast hall filled with massive machinery resembling an assembly line from a factory.
The audience gasped as they recognized the items on the workbenches—octopus-like tails, clawed appendages, faint blue exoskeletons. Alongside them were strange, unrecognizable machines.
"You guessed it, everyone," Pure White's voice came through. "This is the production facility where the Pioneers created the Skybreakers! Turns out, the Skybreaker isn't a fully organic creature—it's a hybrid of biological and mechanical components!"
The audience was shocked.
"I KNEW those parts looked familiar! They're all from Skybreakers!"
"Wait, Skybreakers were mass-produced?! And on an assembly line?!"
"Classic Pioneer behavior—when they try to contain a disease, they go full sci-fi mode: first, bombard the infected areas with cannons, then send killer cyborgs to clean up!"
"Haha, no wonder Black-Tongue Skeleton couldn't find any Skybreaker eggs—THEY DON'T EXIST!"
At that moment, a voice interrupted the video:
Ding! Incoming extraterrestrial transmission. Playing now.
A middle-aged man's voice followed:
"This is the United Earth Government. Survivors of the Aurora, we have received your distress signal and have dispatched a rescue spacecraft. However, our vessel can only reach the designated phase gate. You must leave the planet and rendezvous with us in orbit."
"We have transmitted the blueprint for a rocket that you will need to escape. Our data indicates that the captain's terminal aboard the Aurora is still operational.
You should proceed to the captain's quarters, download the rocket blueprint, and activate the launch sequence.
The access code for the room is '2200'."
The broadcast ended, and Pure White's voice returned:
"Did you all hear that? Our distress signal from earlier was received! Now we need to return to the Aurora, download the rocket blueprint, gather materials, use the 3D printing platform to build it, and then we can leave this planet!"
"But before that, we HAVE to disable the alien turret. Otherwise, even if we build the rocket, we'll just get shot down as soon as we take off!"
The chat exploded:
"66666—so humanity's space program is THAT advanced now? We can just print rockets?!"
"And what exactly is a 'phase gate'? That sounds next-level!"
"Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna launch the rocket just to get shot down for the experience!"
"??? Bro, you good? You just wanna die in style, huh?"
"Alright, let's keep going!" Pure White's voice echoed through the video as they swam deeper into the Skybreaker factory.
After passing through another corridor, they emerged into a vast, open chamber filled with various pieces of Pioneer technology.
"Viewers, this is the core area of the Pioneer Research Center," Pure White explained. "There's a ton of advanced research equipment here, but unfortunately, I already scanned everything with Chang'e and couldn't decipher any of it. So don't bother scanning—it's a waste of time."
"Our goal is here." Pure White swam toward the corner of the hall, where a data terminal sat next to a small, glowing object.
"There's a Pioneer data terminal here, and next to it—a Pioneer key."
Grabbing the key, Pure White continued, "We can download the Pioneers' research logs here. These records show that the Pioneers forcibly infected the native creatures with Kara disease and documented the results."
"Let's take a look at the data."
Chang'e activated the data logs, and a floating list appeared:
Swallow Fish – Died 120 hours after infection.
Bigeye – Died 76 hours after infection.
Kun – Died 21,888 hours after infection.
Reaper Leviathan – Died 7,982 hours after infection.
Ghost Leviathan – Died 8,770 hours after infection.
Sea Dragon Leviathan – Died 12,310 hours after infection.
The audience was stunned.
"WHAT THE HELL?! The Pioneers ran disease experiments on every species?!"
"I bet they did this on multiple planets!"
"RIP Kun! Who's gonna dunk basketballs now?!"
"Wait… why did Kun survive longer than a Leviathan?"
"Hold on, if you convert Kun's death time into years… wait a minute… oh no… it's ANOTHER hidden joke from the dev!"
"Haha, the dev sneaks in these dark jokes all the time—legendary!"
