128 – This Really Is Another Horror Game!!!

Pfft!

Zoe's blade struck the soldier first. He staggered backward and suddenly froze. Without missing a beat, Zoe struck again—and the health bar above his head instantly dropped to zero. At the same time, a bright red dot appeared on the soldier's chest.

[Aim at the red dot and perform a one-hit kill.]

Zoe followed the instruction immediately. With the help of her somatosensory suit's exoskeleton, she gripped the sword with both hands and executed a graceful, deadly thrust straight into the soldier's chest!

"Ugh…" the soldier groaned and collapsed to the ground.

"Damn! Sister Zoe is a beast!"

"First kill achieved!!!"

"Yo, those moves just now—especially the final stab—were so smooth!"

"Right? That last thrust had real swordsman vibes!"

The audience erupted with admiration. Zoe herself looked down at her hands in disbelief, surprised she had pulled off such a clean kill.

Had she… just killed someone?

Looking down at the soldier's body, she noticed there was no gore—no wounds, no blood. His eyes were peacefully shut, as if he were merely asleep.

Just as James had promised, the game avoided graphic visuals.

"Ohh, I get it now," Zoe muttered. "When you land the final blow, the somatosensory suit helps control your movements, making you feel like a real warrior. Not bad, James… not bad at all."

She chuckled, then turned to her viewers. "Okay, everyone—I think I'm starting to get the hang of this."

After her first kill, she pushed ahead. Not long after, another soldier stood in her path—this one stationed in front of a tall patch of grass.

[When attacking from stealth without alerting the enemy, you can perform a one-hit kill. Try it now.]

"Stealth kill…" Zoe whispered, and crouched into the grass. She quickly crept closer.

As she neared, a red dot appeared on the soldier's body once more—the mark of a kill opportunity.

Without hesitation, Zoe sprang forward!

Guided by the suit's response system, she pounced onto the soldier in an instant. With one swift motion, she knocked him flat and plunged her blade straight through his heart. The soldier died silently, without even a scream.

"Whoa! That was badass!!!"

"How is Zoe's killing style so freaking cool?"

"Stealth kills are one-hit KOs? Oh yeah, this game is definitely encouraging stealth gameplay."

The viewers were stunned. Zoe, however, kept her cool and said with a smirk, "Just another fallen foe. Next!"

Moving forward, she reached a fifteen-foot-high wall. But it was no match for her. With a combination of double jump and wall climbing, she scaled it effortlessly.

Another enemy stood nearby.

[You can also assassinate from above.]

Zoe spotted the red mark on the enemy below and smiled. Without thinking twice, she leapt down.

Her somatosensory suit guided her into a perfect plunge—crashing down like a meteor, sword-first, straight into the enemy's neck.

"Holy crap! That's way too awesome!"

"Even Sister Zoe is playing this game like a pro assassin—what's my excuse?!"

"This is what gaming is all about! So slick, so stylish!"

"Finally, the dev didn't mess with us this time! We're actually getting a fun, action-packed experience!"

The audience kept raving, and Zoe was absolutely feeling it.

In that moment, she was a martial arts master.

"To kill in ten steps, to leave without a trace…"

This—this was it.

Compared to other action games—or even Sekiro—this felt like a whole new level. The others didn't even come close.

"Haha! Watch me slice my way through this whole city!" she shouted with rising confidence. After dropping three enemies in a row, Zoe was brimming with momentum—and the trash talk began.

She charged ahead, high on adrenaline, and soon arrived at a massive city gate.

The gate was closed, but a single soldier stood guard in front.

This one looked… different. His armor was sturdier, his presence more commanding.
