Raze returned to his chair, sat down, and opened his journal again. Picking up his pen, he twirled it around his finger and then tapped it once on the paper.
"I'm not going into this life without plans. I need to be steps ahead. The system gives me a head start, but I still have time to craft my path."
As he spoke about the system, he recalled that he had gotten something from killing the girl, so he went to read it again.
[You have killed a human. Level up. 2 free distributable stat points. 100 SP.]
[You have chosen the path of a villain; your missions will be adjusted to fit that. Your emotions are further suppressed to fit the role.]
From what he had already learned about the system, he knew what everything here was. The two free stats would probably be for his attributes.
He didn't fully know what the SP was yet, but that wasn't an issue for now—he would look into it later.
The second message was what drew his attention. He had chosen the path of the villain? Was there any other path for him? Raze wondered.
What would have happened if he had decided to be the good guy? Would he have gotten the path of the hero? Was that possible? But that didn't matter now—he was who he wanted to be.
It also said his emotions were suppressed further, and that worried Raze a bit. Firstly, it was saying that his emotions were already suppressed, and now they had gotten even more suppressed.
Was this the reason why he could kill someone so easily? Or was it his own mindset to kill? He wasn't sure what was real or correct anymore, and it worried him.
"Am I really in charge of myself anymore? Or is something else taking over?" he asked himself, but there was no one to answer.
He decided that he should start by assigning his stats. He added one to his Dexterity, which was the lowest, and one to his Strength, taking it to eleven, while Dexterity went to ten.
Strength: 11
Dexterity: 10
Speed: 11
Constitution: 11
Intelligence: 15
There was little to no change in his body after he did that, but he figured he would need a massive increase to actually see the difference.
Now that this was out of the way, he could focus on his course of action from now on.
"The academy is well known for numerous resources and opportunities. If I can get to them and use them within the next four years, I'll be able to rise in power and influence.
But the protagonist is like a magnet for resources and good things. He'll easily get in my way and surpass me, but I can't let that happen," Raze said. Falling into thought, he tapped the pen on the paper as he pondered.
After a long while of thinking, he let out a tired sigh and then reclined into his chair.
"This is about to become a very dark and bloody academy, all thanks to me." A wicked smile was plastered on his face as he said that.
'The story of Raze was supposed to end today, and the rest would have followed the protagonist's journey through trials to the top.
So I know all about what he will do and go through. But that doesn't mean I know the future—I only know a future from the protagonist's perspective,' he thought.
"Well, I can game things one step at a time," Raze said. He closed the book after not writing anything, placed it in his drawer beside his bed, and then got up.
"I should rest. I've made good progress already." He decided to go to bed. Lying down on his back while facing the ceiling, he got lost in random thoughts until his eyes grew too heavy to keep open, and he closed them, falling asleep.

The warm rays of the rising sun seeped through the gaps of the window, and before the dorm alarms could even ring, Raze was up. It seemed the original Raze was a real hard worker, and his body had been programmed to wake up early.
Raze immediately headed into his bathroom to take a bath. Pipes carried warm and hot water throughout the building, using formations to add suction and make it flow faster, reaching all the students.
A metal bucket was provided in the bathroom, so Raze placed it under the pipe that extended out of the wall. It looked similar to a tap from Earth but without a knob to twist and make water come out.
This one used mana. A small amount of mana would trigger the water flow, and the same would stop it. Even people who didn't focus on learning magic could use it, as everyone was born with mana, no matter how little.
Raze didn't know how to infuse his mana into it, but he decided to just give it a try. He placed his hand on the tap and simply thought about infusing mana, and it worked. His mana entered the pipe, and the process started.
If he wanted the water that came out to be hot, he would have to infuse mana a second time, and it would heat up. But if he did it a third time, it would turn off the flow.
Raze placed his hand again and infused the mana, and the water that started pouring out got warm. He placed the bucket underneath, filled it up, and used a small bowl to scoop water and wash himself with the strong yellow bar soap that was provided for him.
After taking his bath, he headed back into the room, dried off, and then got his uniform out. It was a white suit with purple accents, paired with fully black trousers, black shoes, and a white shirt.
The suit was a long-fitting type that reached all the way to his knees, giving it a really cool swag. The school's logo was on the left chest of the jacket.
