Gon & Killua on The Tower

A few days passed.

As Larry's battles continued making waves in Sky Arena, two familiar figures arrived. A spiky-haired boy and his silver-haired companion. Just like in the original timeline, Gon and Killua had arrived at Sky Arena to train.

Following the same path, they had already met Zushi and Wing, their future Nen instructor. Sitting at a table, Killua lazily sipped on his juice, his eyes flicking toward the TV screen nearby. His hand casually nudged Gon's shoulder. "Hey, Gon, look."

Gon turned toward the screen just in time to see Larry knocking Sally out with a series of elemental attacks. Gon's eyes widened. "Whoa! Larry's here too?!" Excited, he leaned forward, grinning.

Meanwhile, Wing, sitting nearby, had a completely different reaction. His brows furrowed as he stared at the screen. "Wait…" Turning to the two boys, his voice held a hint of disbelief. "You two… actually know the Invincible Larry?"

Gon blinked in confusion before nodding enthusiastically. "Yeah! Larry's our friend! We met during the Hunter Exam!"

Wing fell silent for a moment. Time passed as Gon and Killua continued training, just as they did in the original timeline. Under Wing's guidance, they had now unlocked their aura nodes, taking their first step into the world of Nen.

As soon as Gon and Killua stepped onto the 200th floor, their eyes were immediately drawn to a familiar figure standing at the end of the hallway. Hisoka. Like a fruit farmer tending to his crops, Hisoka watched them with undisguised amusement, his sharp gaze locking onto Gon.

The hallway felt unnaturally cold, though it wasn't due to the temperature. It was Hisoka's aura, an overwhelming storm of malicious intent, suffocating and oppressive. To an ordinary person, it would be unbearable. But Gon and Killua, already trained in Ten, kept their Nen flowing smoothly through their bodies. They didn't flinch. They didn't falter. They walked forward.

Hisoka's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. He gave them a small nod of approval before turning away, disappearing with his usual, almost theatrical cat-like steps. He was clearly in a good mood.

After all Killua wasn't his fruit, not yet. Illumi had already claimed that right.

But Gon?

Gon was growing. And Hisoka couldn't wait for the day his fruit would finally ripen.

With Hisoka gone, Gon and Killua let out a small sigh of relief. That was just the first hurdle. They still had a long way to go. But Gon, impatient as always, immediately dragged Killua toward the counter to register for his first fight, Completely ignoring Wing's warnings.

Killua frowned, clearly uncomfortable. "Gon, we just got here. We don't even know how people fight at this level, " But Gon wasn't listening. He wanted to see for himself.

Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones watching.

"Hey, did you see those two brats?" A voice whispered from the shadows.

"Hehehe… I won't mess up this time!" Three figures emerged from a dark corner, their eyes gleaming with predatory intent. The useless trio, Sadaso, Riehlvelt, and Gido. Their expressions were twisted with malicious delight, like butchers eyeing fresh meat. They were certain. These two kids? Easy prey.

Killua felt it immediately. The moment their aura flared, a cold chill ran down his spine. These guys, they had abilities. He grabbed Gon's arm, voice low and urgent. "Gon. Stop. We need to leave." The warning in his tone was clear. These weren't ordinary fighters. They had something the two of them didn't. They had Nen abilities.

"Ahem." A single cough echoed through the hallway. Suddenly The useless trio froze. A second later Panic.

"H-Hey! It's him!"

"What are you waiting for?! RUN!"

Gido, Sadaso, and Riehlvelt, the same trio that had been acting all high and mighty just moments ago, Immediately turned tail and fled. They ran like their lives depended on it.

Their escape was almost comical. Sadaso took off like a normal human being, which was probably the least embarrassing of the three. Gido, with his metal prosthetic legs, launched himself forward using a bizarre pole-vaulting motion, looking more like a circus acrobat than a fighter. Riehlvelt, the most dramatic of them all, activated the nitrogen boosters on his wheelchair, transforming into a human rocket as he vanished down the hall.

Gon and Killua stood there, completely stunned. Larry, standing at the counter, frowned. "Why does this always happen?" It was the same thing with the shadow Beast Earthworm.

Now, the useless trio was acting like he was some kind of walking natural disaster. Was his threat level really that high?

Gon and Killua, however, weren't confused at all. They had seen this pattern before. And now? It finally clicked. "Ohhh, I get it now!" Gon exclaimed. "They were scared of Larry!"

Killua nodded in agreement. It made perfect sense. Even Nen users had reasons to fear Larry. It was just normal at this point.

Larry had originally come here to check if his next opponent had been decided. But since he ran into Gon and Killua, he chatted with them for a bit. That's when he realized, His "visit" to the Zoldyck estate had left a permanent mark on them. So much so that they had given him a new title. "The Invincible Destroyer." Larry sighed. "I think only 'Invincible' sounds better."

Meanwhile… Far from the Sky Arena, beyond the Eurubian Continent, and north of the Balusa Islands A city gleamed in the night. "Night City, Martinez City."

A place drenched in neon, liquor, and shadows. And within one of those shadows, A dark, silent room remained unchanged. The same seven chairs sat around the table. Only now, Five of them were empty.

The only occupied seat belonged to Pride. His fingers tapped rhythmically against the wooden surface, his sharp gaze locked onto a nearby TV screen A screen playing Larry's match. His aura burned like an active volcano, its pressure rising by the second. His rage was nearly impossible to contain.

Larry was alive and well, basking in the glory of the Sky Arena, his name echoing across the city. And Greed and Gluttony? Gone. Dead. Vanished without a trace. The reality was clear, Larry had killed them. Pride's fingers dug into the armrest of his chair, the veins on his forehead throbbing with restrained rage. His mind replayed the words of the shadow beast "Earthworm", the one who had delivered a message from Larry himself, "Bring more people next time."

Mockery. It was pure, undiluted mockery. Larry had already slain four members of the Seven Deadly Sins. Only himself, Sloth, and Lust remained. Even after watching several of Larry's fights, Pride still struggled to believe it. Yet, there was no other explanation. His previous judgment had been completely wrong. The shadow beast's report had been crystal clear, Greed and Gluttony weren't just killed. They were utterly crushed By two of Larry's Nen Beasts.
