Silvan stared at the blue screen hovering in front of him, the details sinking in. The surroundings and what just happened can't be explained but being lived a life where magic existed and illusions was real it still made some sense but the thing that's showing in front doesn't make any sense and defies every logic he could think of.

Yes, this was the list. Within it, anything could be merged. Silvan scrolled through the options with a thought, taking a slow, steadying breath. It was unbelievable if the system was telling the truth. There were genetic codes for everything imaginable, bloodlines from legendary beasts, enchanted wings, and even soul-bound relics of unimaginable power
He carefully began examining the options with utmost focus. He knew this choice would play a crucial role to find his comrades if they exist within this new world.
He knew he had to choose wisely, as each Genetic Code was unique and could only be obtained by one host. The last line made it possible to get another but silvan know very well it's unlikely for another similar part to appear. This choice could significantly impact his future abilities and survival in this new world.
As he scrolled through the endless list of items, his eyes were drawn to several intriguing options, but there was no information about what each item did. He felt a pang of nervousness, realizing he had to make this choice without knowing the specifics.
His eyes landed on **Kobold's Fire Breath Gland**. The name suggested a powerful, offensive ability, and the idea of breathing fire seemed both exciting and potentially very useful. But he wasn't sure if it was the same kobold his old world has.
Silvan's eyes flitted from one item to the next as the list goes on,taking in each name, imagining what each could offer. The sheer potential before him made his heart pound.
Goblin's Sharp Fangs?
Perhaps enhanced biting power? No… that's too primal and too close combat. Not for a mage.
Orc's Skin,Strong defensive traits… but too cumbersome. Defense wasn't his first priority
White abyssal serpent poison, The name sounded grand. He felt some urges to choose it as why wouldn't one have the ability to use poison which was the ban of many power mages in his past life. But after some serious thoughts he decided not to. As powerful it might be poison is something that's always dangerous.
He continued scrolling,
"Claws? No. Mages need more versatility, not physical powers"
He has mana now. Thus it's only wise for him to pick something that increases his combat powers. Thus physical abilities were never an option.
His focus deepened as the options blurred together as he continued to gaze at them.
He paused at the Gargoyle's Stone Core.
"A core made of stone… defensive and sturdy… but does it increase resilience or petrify something within the body?"
" No I don't need this." He decided. Its true tho for mage close combat is disadvantageous but by having strong skin won't reduce that gap completely. Thus it would be useful when someone strong encounters him.
As he scrolled quickly considering a chosen genetic code will disappear. Meaning if he wasn't fast enough to pick a good one may pick it up. He doesn't know how large the number the system was hinting saying " Hosts" but he doesn't have the time to ponder that he just has to be quick here.
And finally as if luck was on his side. Silvan stopped scrolling as a part piqued his interest. He watched it blankly before his eyes widen biting his lips in frustration as the thing he may be thinking might be strong. But seeing many parts disappearing one by one on the screen.
" Fine so be it!" He decided to pick it up!. And choose it. Upon selection there was a message about him confirming it with a yes or no. Silvan quickly agreed with a thought.
As he chose that all of a sudden some sensation spread all throughout the body before the weird sensation appearing on his eyes. His vision blurred quickly and started to hurt as if someone was pocking his eyes with needles rapidly.
Silvan clinched his fists as the pain intensified. The pain was becoming more unbearable in each passing moment. Silvan endured it all.
And slowly little by little his vision recovered. With pain reducing,Silvan right away felt the sudden changes. To the point he closed his making sure the pain completely disappeared he reopened them again.
Right away massive changes in his vision hit him as if the world he was seeing before was just an illusion and this was the real world that his mortal self wasn't worthy of to gaze at.
Silvan didn't care about the screen and looked at the surroundings.
" It worked!"
