(warning big chapter)
There was a strange excitement buried beneath it.Why wouldn't he unlike before he doesn't need to gather those expensive Monster blood to pass the mana.He also has strings!.
He crouched, picking up a stone the size of his palm. Before slowly dipping it on to the pool and activated his vein eyes.
Smile forming on his face. It actually worked.
He started Injecting his own Qi within. He can see it, the rock was briming with more Qi then it usually should have.
"I would be able to use these things as recovery options with The Qi Shipon" Silvan uttered before focusing
Silvan's fingers moved deftly, thin Qi threads appearing from his fingertips like glowing silk. He moved them into the air, layering them around the rock before carving a circular above it.
Silvan send some qi cheeking if it works the same way. But fortunately it did. It reacted as he put Qi.
"Nows the Hard part" Silvan mumbled.
Silvan with steady hand pressed down the Qi strings within the carvings. Usually energy can't pass through without mediums. But his Qi threads will work as one.
He grabbed the dagger and looked at its pointy tip.Sound of YunYun flying over to the orb was heard. Silvan looked at him before nodding his head, deciding something.
"Alright, YunYun. Come here," Silvan said, rolling up his sleeves.
The little dragon froze mid-air, his golden eyes narrowing looking at the dagger "Huh? Why?"
"I need your blood."
YunYun flapped back instantly, retreating like a startled chicken. "Wait, wait, wait! What nonsense are you spouting now!?"
Silvan sighed. "You're a dragon. Your blood is naturally rich with Qi. If I mix even a little of it into the formation, it should act as a natural catalyst, making the flow of energy smoother."
YunYun squinted at him, then at the dagger. "So… you're saying you wanna stab me."
"Don't worry,The dungeon orb has a regeneration effect also the pool will help you recover faster," Silvan clarified, stepping forward.
YunYun backed up.
Silvan pinched his nose. "Aren't you from a renowned demonic sect? You people do blood rituals all the time! Why are you scared of!"
. "First of all, just because my old sect used blood rituals doesn't mean I volunteered for them!"
Silvan took another step forward. "It won't hurt much and as a man, Aren't you being too dramatic!"
YunYun flapped his wings furiously, "Too dramatic? You're literally holding a dagger and asking for my blood. You already stabbed me with that thing!"
Silvan rolled his eyes. "You're a dragon now. You heal fast"
"Keep that thing away from me." YunYun feeling the chills looking at the dagger he still rembered how he died.
Silvan sighed. "Fine. If you won't cooperate, I'll just use my own blood."
"Yes! That's what I—"
Silvan raised a brow. "Oh? But my blood isn't infused with dragon Qi, meaning the energy won't stabilize properly." He sighed
"Which means, of course, I'll have to force the golem's energy flow, which means…"
He turned toward the Verdant Heart Pool, rubbing his chin.
"I'll need a lot more Qi. Probably… three times my current limit?"
YunYun stiffened. "Wait."
Silvan tapped his fingers against the dagger. "And to maintain the construct, I'd have to drain external Qi constantly. That means… I need a source..I don't know if the water from the pool will recover or not..so " He turned to stare directly at YunYun.
YunYun's golden eyes widened. "Oh no."
"...I'd have to latch onto someone nearby with Qi Shipon to use as a constant Qi or Some Potions..but you see I'm broke."
YunYun flapped backward. "No. NO."
Silvan nodded "So you're saying you'd rather be drained of Qi for hours instead of just giving a drop of blood.. and also aren't I your master. I just force you.."
YunYun opened his mouth. Closed it.Opened it again.
Silence.
Then—
"...How much blood exactly?"
"Not much"
--------
YunYun lay face-down on the dungeon core, motionless. His golden eyes were dull, his tiny wings twitching weakly.
Beside him, three bottles of thick red blood stood neatly in a row, glowing faintly with Qi.
Silvan sat cross-legged next to them, calmly inspecting the final bottle. He swirled the liquid, nodding in satisfaction. "Good quality."
YunYun groaned. "Good quality? GOOD QUALITY?!"
"I was worried about consistency, but this should work."
YunYun barely lifted his head, "I hope you choke on it."
Silvan ignored him and got back to work. He dipped his fingers into the first vial, letting a single drop fall onto the stone. It would be the anchor of the Golem in simple words the main core.
The reaction was instant.
The veins of Qi carvings glowed, a deep crimson glow pulsing through the rock. Before being stabilized.
Now that being working, Silvan get to thinking.
"A humanoid golem? No. Too inefficient. His dungeon was still small, and defensive firepower was more important than a walking pile of stone"
As for creating an actual weapon. He didn't have any materials.
"Then that's the only way" Silvan uttered
His gaze shifted to the Blooming Sap Cannon, the primary line of defense. Then to the Verdant Heart Pool, brimming with rich energy.
"Yeah that would do for now"
Silvan arranged the stones into a perfect circle, connecting them with strong Qi strings. Enough to hold them in place.
"this one wasn't meant to move..so it's all good"
The outer layer was smooth, acting as the primary stabilizer.
The inner carvings formed pathways, allowing Qi to flow in specific directions, guiding it toward the center, using the essence after processing them.
The core would be at the base of the ring would act absorbing and usages.
Silvan inhaled sharply and activated his Vein Eyes, watching the flow of energy shift within the structure.
He reached his side, grabbing a vial filled with YunYun's dragon blood.
Opening the bottle, he let some drops fall onto the core. Reaction was Immediate.
"Now for the Stand" Silvan muttered grabbing a branch connecting and reinforcing it with Qi strings.
With that the process was almost done. Silvan decided to test it grabbing on to the Crimson Grass herbs that had collected before when looking for the Shard guardian.
He took few holding in his hand in a fist before touching the fist with the core. Silvan begun channeling Qi. The Qi entered the herbs before slowly burning away. While the core reacted absorbing the herbs essence.
Silvan nodded in satisfaction it worked. Usually absorbing doesn't work like this. But it did work for him as Qi strings are Qi itself. Although he can see it some of the essence escaping but that doesn't matter it was very mimnium amount as for the rest all got sucked into the core.
The engraving on the stones and the ring one by one light up before.
Then—
A sudden flare of heat.
Silvan's eyes narrowed as the Qi density inside the ring spiked. Making him realize the YunYuns blood was far purer then he initially thought.
A faint shimmer of red light began forming within.
Silvan's fingers twitched, ready to stop it, but then—
FWOOOSH!
A thin, controlled ring of fire burst into existence, circling the inner frame of the Ring. It hovered just inside the ring.
Silvan's lips curled into a grin.
Success.
YunYun, still slumped on the dungeon core, let out a weak groan, barely lifting his head. "I don't know what sorcery you just pulled, but… it sucks"
"It's not sorcery. Just proper application of energy flow." Silvan muttered turning it off.
Testing worked now it was time to finish it properly. His qi was near depleted. But he decided he would still finish it.
Strings of Qi appeared. Silvan focused more on making them stronger and grabbing three of this he started twisting them all together like ropes.
Before connection them with the core before leading them right at the side of the Verdant Heart pool. This way the Qi strings will automatically absorb essense from the verdant pool. Also planting herbs in the center of it would make them grow faster and this thing will process whatever the amount needed for the ring to activate.
Silvan adjusted the carvings, making sure the absorption rate wasn't too fast. If it drained too quickly, the pool would struggle to recover.
"Slow and steady… just like a natural cycle," he muttered.
"Almost done."
Satisfied, he carefully planted the Crimson Grass circling the Qi strings around it.
He focused his Vein Eyes, watching how the fire Qi condensed within the ring.
"Let's see if I can still do this..."
Silvan closed his eyes and placed his palm over the anchor stone. He focused, letting a small pulse of his essence drift into the core of the golem.
He didn't need to give the golem complex thoughts. Just enough to shape its behavior.
Silvan felt the familiar hum of energy as his soul essence seeped into the core. The anchor stone pulsed softly beneath his hand. Although this sounded simple it was quite hard.
"Now... the hard part."
It was imbuing the soul essence the very thing that made his golems far more terrifying from others.
Qi threads unraveled and branched out like spider silk, wrapping themselves around the internal frame of the ring. in past life he didn't have any choice but to use many mediums to pass through mana and soul essence. But with Qi strings it's possible now.
"Three sensory paths—one for judgment, one for reaction."
Silvan visualized the first sensory path as a web-like thread running across the golem's core to its "mind." This thread's sole purpose was to question the next action based on its potential cost in Qi. As for a golem the moment they run out of energy they become powerless. It's unlikely now because of Verdant heart pool, An energy source.
"Think like a tactician," he murmured as he worked. "Is this action worth the Qi cost?"
He imagined a scenario in his mind as he placed the threads.
Clause 1: When Blooming sap cannon activates. It activates too with 50% output
Clause 2: If it detected an overwhelming force, the sensory path would signal strong command using 70% of output for first activation 90% for second output.
Silvan fed the concept into the memory fragment tied to the soul essence. This wasn't a true consciousness it was more like a tactical check that weighed each decision. Just like how the thing called AI works in the modern world.
The threads locked into place. forming a faint glowing line from the core.
" Next was the storage"
Like the creation of existence can't be brought without memoirs,as souls are just the existence that chooses good and bad in any case scenario. Silvan also creates a part where new experiences memories are stored and the clauses he put are replacement of judgement of souls good and bad.
One can say they are alive but they are sorta but the only difference was, unlike the soul based on good and Bad,such thing can be based on any clauses and unlike a soul which has infinity authority for existence. Mere soul essence no matter how much he puts it sooner or later it will run out.
Silvan's eyes narrowed, focusing intensely on the subtle connections between the core stone and the rest of the construct.
" I see so this is the effect of my puppet class" realization sank in as there were no methods to sense golem in any way in his past world without extra steps but here it's possible now now because of his class.
With a final surge of soul essence, he reinforced the storage memory, ensuring the construct would recognize optimal efficiency cycles.
The ring twitched.
At first, it was just a faint shudder, the carvings softly glowing. Silvan narrowed his eyes, observing the energy circulation.
Then—
A controlled flare of fire ignited at the center.
A thin, circular ring of flames pulsed within the frame, perfectly balanced.
"A Success"
Silvan thought for a second. "It's just 15 minutes. Testing one won't hurt"
He turned to the Blooming Sap Cannon.
The cannon's primary function was to launch sap-based fruit projectiles, but now that the flaming ring stood in front of it, things would change.
Silvan activated the cannon.
Wosh!.
The sap fruit launched at high speed.
The moment it passed through the flaming ring, the concentrated Fire Qi latched onto it, igniting the fruit.
BOOM!
it splattered across the ground, it began spreading, the thickened sap bubbling slightly as it formed a layer of slow-burning fire.
Silvan observed the results closely.
The sap remained sticky, even with the flames. That meant enemies stepping into the affected area wouldn't just get slowed down they'd be stuck in the fire too.
"If someone were to rush in without thinking, they'd be caught instantly," he muttered.
YunYun, groaned. "I feel bad for whatever poor bastard walks into that."
Silvan didn't reply immediately, eyes still locked on the fire. The fire lasted for whole five minutes before running out along with the sap of the fruit.
"The aftermath usually lasts for ten minutes but with fire it lasts five minutes. It wasn't bad considering the burn it caught" Silvan mumbed"
His Vein Eyes traced the flow of Qi, confirming that the Verdant Heart Pool was already replenishing the energy used by the ring. The herbs planted around it were subtly withering as their essence was extracted but he can also see the verdant Heart pool was already nourishing it.
"As long as the herbs grow, as long as the pool feeds energy, the ring will always be ready."
"The intensity of fire would increase if I find better herbs "
