Chapter 35 : Treasure

"You're really from a different world, kekekeke."

Silvan sighed as the scenes unfolded before him, the weight of it all making him feel like he was losing his grip. But enough was enough. He turned around and faced the pair of red eyes that glowed ominously within the black smoke. "Why are you showing me this? What are you?"

The eyes stared back at him, and the mouth below widened, revealing rows of sharp, menacing teeth.

"Kekekeke, you're really interesting," it crooned, its voice dripping with amusement.

The scenery before him disappeared in an instant, leaving only darkness—a suffocating, oppressive kind of dark, devoid of light.

"You're really interesting, an outer worlder," the voice whispered, lingering in the air.

Silvan's eyes narrowed. He had no idea where he was, nor who or what this thing was.

"You know what? You're worthy," the voice continued before suddenly vanishing.
