After the kiss, Mikel pulled away. They breathing rapid. She pushed him away and ran off.

She stopped at a point. Holding her lips and remembering everything. She hated him more for this.

Mikel on the other hand did not know what got into him to kiss her. He sighed.

Adrian had been noticing Erica since today.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He asked.

"I'm fine please leave me" she wanted to leave but he held her hand and pulled her closer to him.

"Look into my eyes and tell me you want me to leave"

Erica looked at his hazel eyes, she couldn't help but be drawn but a particular face keep on flashing in her mind. Mikel.

She pushed Adrian away and ran out. She needed time by herself, so she went to the park. She sat by a bench. She had to think through. How did she end up like this.

Flashback

It was her engagement with Adam, her boyfriend she has been dating for two years since she was 18. She was happy she wanted to see him. Arriving at his house, she wanted to knock but heard a voice like her sister. She squinted closer to the door, it was her sister.

"I can't believe you are getting married to my sister"

"Don't worry babe, once I get married to her, she loves me so much, what a stupid girl, once I tell her to give me her mother's inheritance she will for sure and I'll divorce her and get married to you my love"

"I can't wait, I'm tired of pretending to be happy when I see you two together while my blood boil, after you get divorced, why don't we sell her off" Carolina suggested.

"That's a good idea, the girl is so dumb, she couldn't even notice us for the past two years" Adam said.

It wasn't her fault. Anytime she saw them together, she took it as nothing serious since Adam knew Carolina before her but she never knew Carolina and Adam were dating.

"After the wedding today,I would have to be the perfect husband so she can give me what we need"

"Yes but please don't fall for her while living with her, I've seen it in movies" Carolina begged.

She was so devastated, she ran out of the house into a bar.

She got drunk. That was when Mikel came. Due to being drunk, she behaved foolishly begging him to sleep with her. She wanted him to break her virginity. Mikel refused at first but being the monster he was did it.

Erica opened her eyes slowly. She regretted all her actions, she should have just ended the engagement than getting drunk and ended up being the promiscuous one.

She looked at the time.

7:25pm. It was late. She has stayed here for a long time. She needs to go home.

Luck wasn't on her side. The rain started pouring. She had to use her bag to cover her head.

She was running and sprained her knee.

"Ahh" she was in pain.

Suddenly she felt a figure carry her. Mikel.

"What are you doing? You might catch a cold"

Mikel ignored her and put her into the car.

He told the driver to go. He noticed she was cold so he placed his suit over her.

Erica could feel his warmth, she didn't know why he was kind now but she shouldn't be glad because he might soon kick her out of the car.

"Thanks" she told him but he didn't respond.

"Uhm.. how do you know where I was?" She asked curiously.

"I just knew" Mikel lied. He had been in his car watching her since.

"Thanks again"

"I hate women who say thank you or sorry too much"

"Sorry"A immediately she realized her mistake. Mikel was already close to her.

She was resting on the car's mirror. The driver noticed them but continued driving
