The music was echoing in the hotel, Tomorrow could hear the band all the way in her room. The party will start at 9:00, three hours of parting sounded too long for Tomorrow, but she was not a party girl. Laurel and she spent a long lunch hour finding dresses for the working party. Tomorrow figures if this dress doesn't inspire Lucas to come after her, she has been barking up the wrong tree all along. He passed the other women test. He has not been abusive even with lots of reasons to be unhappy with a lot of situations that would piss someone off he held steady. So, the question of why he is not married is not answered. She will have to ask him.
The party was going strong as Tomorrow stepped into the dining room. Most of the tables were moved outside and others were pushed to the lobby to make a dance floor in front of the band. They played island music and Jimmy Buffet style, and everyone was having fun. The red satin gown fit Tomorrow like a glove every man in the place looked as she walked in. Lucas in a tux approached, he took in a deep breath, trying to control his urge to take her hand and pull her to some dark corner.
Just watching him walk towards her made her body surge. He extended his hand and took her out to the dance floor. She wondered if tonight would be the night, or would he leave her at her door like every other night.
"You look gorgeous, but then again, you always do to me," he said.
Placing her hand on his cheek she said, "You look gorgeous too, nice tux their sexy guy," she teased.
"Ah, so you think I'm sexy," Lucas asked as he took a turn on the dance floor. Sliding his hand over the silky satin gown down over her hip with his cheek against the side of her head he groaned. Apparently groaning was his sign of desire, she was holding him closer learning his ways. Evidence of his desire pressed against her hip as they moved on the dance floor.
"Of course, I do even in your shorts you're sexy," Tomorrow yelled over the music making sure her hip contacted his desire often. Keeping close to his body, she could hide his obvious lust, but as long as she moved in front of him, he would stay that way.
With her heels on, Tomorrow was as tall as Lucas, she could look him in his eyes and press her cheek to his. The song they danced to was not a slow one, but it didn't matter Lucas held her tight moving to his own music.
His eyes smoldered as he was inches from her lips, but he made no attempt to kiss her. Tomorrow sighed and turned in his embrace with her back to his front she leaned back breaking the connection and attempted to walk away. Catching her around the waist Lucas walked with her, guiding her out of the party to the lobby down the hallway leading to the spa. Shifting in front of him unsure of where he was guiding her. She was not about to have sex on some spa table and became angry he would consider doing that.
He could see the anger in her eyes and said, "Tomorrow, I want you more than I want to breathe, but not tonight," he told her huskily in her ear, "what I want for us will last for days not an hour tonight. Please don't think I don't want you; we just need to get through the holidays and let the crowd die down and I will be all yours."
Turning on her heels, she walked away. She will get him for a few days and then what, Tomorrow questioned. Making her way to the lobby. Pearson was staffing the check in desk looking very handsome dressed in a tux, he smiled as she approached.
"I thought we had lost you two," he grinned, "I thought that dress had done him in."
"No, he is all business and needed to inform me of that fact," Tomorrow told him and stepped behind the desk, "So how are the reservations for next week?" Tomorrow asked if they were packed with guests, she would have to wait again. Then, once the few days are over, does she go back home? Does he say thank you and go on his way? She was right back to letting a man dictate her life.
"No, it is not too bad. We should be able to give a lot of staff days off," Pearson told her, showing her the reservation list.
Watching Lucas come out of the hallway, she bets he smells like lotion. She knows what he has been doing in the spa, she left him ready to pop. What did he think he did to her? Hand lotion can't fix her. Scanning the list to keep from looking at Lucas she noticed David Comorian's name; he will be here for one night on Tuesday. "Good. I'll go live in his basement," Tomorrow said to the computer screen, confusing Pearson completely.
"Come on Morrow and dance with me. I have to set the fireworks off soon." Lucas called out as he reached the entrance to the restaurant.
"I'll see you later," she told Pearson and walked towards his extended hand.
The staff was not keeping up with collecting empty champagne glasses. Lucas got onto them on the way to the dance floor. The glass doors to the restaurant are open and the party has extended out to the patios. Diego was just finishing up with the last fold of doors. One of the changes Lucas did to open up the place. They danced this time without doing a lot of touching.
With a kiss on the cheek, he left to change for the climb to set the fireworks off as two men approached Tomorrow for a dance. Both were friendly gamblers from the other night, a little tipsy but gentlemen.
Tomorrow enjoyed the attention and knew either one of them would show her a good time if she followed them to their room. She would wait, she has four days before David comes, she has three months' pay waiting in the bank and would gladly start over if the situation doesn't change.
Three quick kisses later from three different men, Tomorrow stood with Niesha and Laurel and watched as the first colored flames shot towards the sky. They watched for twenty minutes, and it was ten minutes too long. People became bored and returned to the music and drinking well before the display was over. They will have to tell Lucas to cut the display in half.
Tomorrow returned to her room, she was not on duty, then again, she was never on duty, she was just there to help in any way she could. As Lucas said, she needed to learn it all. Closing her door, she felt that the whole evening was a waste of time and money. The zipper came down and she stepped out of her dress. Tossing it over her chair, she may have another opportunity to wear it in some other state.
She plopped down on her bed and began to unbuckle her sandals. Ok, so he didn't drag her back to his room and ravage her for the extra thirty minutes he had before he set off the fireworks. Slam Bam thank you ma'am, I'm out of here. Kicking her shoe towards the closet, she groaned in frustration. She was being ridiculous, she can't have his undivided attention, he has a business to run. She knew she was jealous of his lack of availability.
She had months of his time now she has to share it. "But then again, he did have months to seduce me and didn't," Tomorrow grumbled and took off her other sandal. "Ok stupid you're being paid for basically doing nothing, maybe looking pretty which is easy for me. The apartment is free and the best food you have ever eaten is free. So, what if he is not hot for you, you're safe, warm, and free. Stop being a bitch because things aren't going your way dummy," Tomorrow said as she walked to the bathroom to wash her make-up off, her day is done.
This is the first time in five years that Billy hadn't given her a New Year's kiss. She didn't miss his beer sour breath.
Finding an old soft tee shirt, she slipped under her covers still hearing the band playing.
Pound, pound "Hey Morrow you in there," Lucas shouted.
She sighed and got out of bed.
"Tomorrow," he yelled again as he knocked. "Where the hell can she be? I have looked everywhere," he said to whom she didn't know. Cracking the door just a few inches she looked out. "Crazy man, I have gone to bed," she said, looking to see who else was out there.
"Ah honey, it is New Year's you can't be sleeping already," Lucas said, trying to see what she had on.
"Yes, I can. I get the hint. You'll get around to me when you find the time, I got it," she said and closed the door.
"Girl, open this door so I can talk to you," Lucas demanded as he knocked on the door. "Morrow, open the door, that is not at all what I was saying. Please open the door," he begged. She could tell he was leaning against the door. She hoped he was not drunk; it would be a first for him around her. She put on some old boxers and opened the door looking the least sexy she could. She was not about to have their first time with him when he was drunk.
Again, he groaned, he liked the fresh-faced beauty he met on the computer, "come on sweetie, let me in, you must have taken what I said all wrong."
"You told me to wait and I am. I was tired and was tired of other men trying to kiss me happy New Year, so I went to bed. No big deal," Tomorrow told him, holding up her door frame with the door firmly clutched in her other hand.
Working his way close to the door, he slipped his hand around her waist, "Come on Morrow let me in so we can talk," he begged, moved her hair back and kissed her neck, "Come on you know tonight was a crazy night I had too much to do."
"I know that is why I left you to it. Go control the crowd, I can tell the party's still going strong," she said, and he kissed behind her ear. Tilting her head so he could get a better angle, goosebumps covered her and sent a surge through her body and that surge hit her hard.
"Lucas don't start anything you can't finish. The party is still in full swing. I'll see you tomorrow," she said and pushed him out of her doorway.
"Wait," he called out, reaching for her hand, "Can I have my New Year's kiss."
Ok, this is it, the tell, will he set her on fire or be a cold fish. Opening the door back up, he stepped in and cupped the back of her head. His lips brushed lightly across hers and settled in. It was a good kiss, a passionate yet passive kiss, one that said I want you but not right now. And it sent a hot poker straight from her center to her heart as her knees gave way. She knew if this doesn't work out it is going to devastate her. Lucas groaned again as he leaned back, "Don't you ever think I don't want you."
"I know, you have a job to do so go and I will be here," she said and pushed him out the door again, closing and locking it this time. Slipping back in bed, she smiled, "this will be good I can already tell."
Tomorrow was up at the crack of dawn, dressed and out surveying the damage. The cleaning crew was still working, but she was amazed how little was left to do. They had seventy-five guests set to check out this morning. Pearson had the stack of bills waiting to be slipped under the doors. Some were astronomical, he was preparing for the fits. They ran them up at the bar and restaurant. Laurel came in while they discussed the different bills, looking worse for wear.
"Girl, what time did you go to bed last night?" Tomorrow asked.
"And with whom," Pearson asked snidely.
"One of those men with really high bills, I'm sure. But he was quite nice. Took a long time to make sure I was happy. Those are hard to come by," Laurel told them.
"I believe I saw him about five this morning. Tall, dark, and kind of handsome," Pearson offered.
"Sounds about right, I wanted to start out the New Year well and he fits the bill."
"And you? Did Lucas find you last night? He was about to send out the hounds," Pearson teased.
"Yes, he found me, I had gone to bed by myself thank you. No Happy New Year for me."
"Yeah, I kind of figured that he was all business after he came back," Pearson told her, shifting the bills around.
"Some dreams die hard," Tomorrow quipped, "I'll do the bills, I'm too restless to just stand here."
"Good my shift is over anyways. Good night." Pearson said and handed the desk over to Laurel and the bills to Tomorrow.
She walked the halls slipping the bills under doors finishing up by 8:00 am. By that time, the kitchen was open, and a few guests were begging for coffee and not much more. Laurel had a big bottle of aspirin sitting on the desk for anyone in need. Tomorrow had her fruit and her crispy bacon, as she happily walks the patios finding beer cans and champagne glasses stuck in the potted plants and under loungers. She also found a few articles of clothing there must have been some skinny-dipping at some point. Dropping the cans in the trash and handing the glasses to a kitchen staff, the clothes she places at the reception desk.
She stepped behind the desk to get some more information about Laurel's wild night, "Ok, so I take it you had a good night," Tomorrow teased.
"It was a very good night, and he claims to be coming back in a few weeks. We'll see; but he is a nice man, not overly handsome but nice. I wouldn't have to fight to keep the girls off him, but nice. I will give him credit, he does know a thing or two about making a woman happy," Laurel said blushing.
"Good for you girl, my boyfriend knew squat," Tomorrow complained.
"What boyfriend?" Lucas asked as he walked up.
"The one I hope has a boyfriend of his own by now," Tomorrow smarted back, noting the green in Lucas's face.
"Let me get you some coffee, Laurel gets him some aspirin," Tomorrow suggested scooting out past him. She went to collect his coffee to start the day.
Lucas took the chair next to Laurel, "so did you have a good night?" He asked.
"I did and you drank too much," she observed.
"Maybe I had to keep up with the crowd," he offered and smiled as Tomorrow came back with his coffee.
"Looks like we may have another storm coming in this morning," Tomorrow mentioned as the wind picked up and the skies turned darker.
Laurel quickly clicked on the weather site, "it is just a small squall it should be gone in an hour or less."
Standing close to Lucas, Tomorrow asked, "So how did the party go?"
Lucas looked at Laurel, "I think it went well the last of the partiers went to their rooms around three. They were actually a good group."
"Yep, a good group and about half should be coming down to check out soon. The bills are all out and no credit cards were declined so in all you did well." Laurel offered.
"Hey, can't beat that," Lucas agreed. "We'll see when all the bills are paid if I make a profit."
"I can tell you one thing; you can cut back on the fireworks. They were beautiful, but too long, most people gave up after ten minutes." Tomorrow told him.
"Yeah, I thought so too I was bored by the end," Lucas agreed. "I just never knew how many he bought for his display."
Guest started coming down to the lobby for breakfast, and to
check out, keeping everyone busy the rest of the morning. Tall, dark, and not overly handsome was a nice guy. He did seem taken by Laurel and kept her blushing until his friend's dragged him away to the waiting cab.
Lucas did a little kvetching about her fraternizing with the guests once he understood what had gone on.
Niesha showed up at noon ready to get a new party started. Lucas groaned again and sent her to check out the game room. He wanted her to figure out where he could put a small bar and fridge set-up to hold the gamblers over. Most were beer drinkers and a few whiskey sippers. She came back with a nicely drawn up plan about an hour later.
By 2:00 the place was quiet, the bellhops were scouring the grounds for trash, housekeeping was cleaning rooms, the guests that were left were being plied with lemonade, and bloody Mary's to help with the hangovers. People you would never think would hook up had and seemed very happy. Lucas was happy he had done what he wanted. He made a place for singles and young lovers to go. Now he has to do something about Tomorrow. Apparently, she wanted a little one on one time and he wanted to feast on her body for days. He has waited a little too long to show his love for her, he can tell.
Niesha was telling Lucas about a local man who could build him a tropical looking bar and a cousin who would tend bar for him anytime in the evenings for just tips. It all sounded great; but Lucas's attention was on Tomorrow. She was scrolling through her emails and looking upset.
"Yeah, Niesha got me his name and why haven't I heard of your cousin before. You know I need good workers," Lucas scolded light heartedly.
"He works during the day, but his nights are free is why. He suggested the other day when I told him about the card games," Niesha shot back. It isn't like she was hiding him.
"Sounds good, have him stop by anytime, but for now I think the gambling is over, the main men just left. Morrow, what's up you look upset?" Lucas asked, leaning towards her computer to see what had her attention.
"My brother-in-law wrote that the business is great, almost too much work. He sent me a link to an article about this mysterious friend of Billy's. He wasn't a friend. He was a man that was going to help in the Senate race for his father. He was killed in a skiing accident yesterday. The witnesses are already calling it murder," Tomorrow said and pointed at a line in the article and read. "Witness claims three men forced him off the main run of the hill and he hit a tree head on. The men skied away, leaving him critically wounded. He died later of massive head injuries," her shoulders dropped, and tears filled her eyes.
"I knew him, he was a nice man. He got caught up with the wrong men. John must have been livid when he told what he knew," she closed her laptop, "Well, I must have seen someone or heard something I shouldn't have. But I'll be damned if I know what it is," She complained so dishearteningly.
Picking up her laptop, she headed for her room. She had been working non-stop since 6:00 this morning. Whether it is fatigue or the news, sparkles had started, and she needed to lie down.
"Tomorrow is incognito here from trouble back home. We just hope it doesn't follow her here," Lucas explained quickly to the two lost looking women and followed Tomorrow to her apartment.
"Hey sweetie," Lucas called out as she was about to open her door.
"Ah Lucas I just need to lie down for a while," she explained, looking defeated.
"I could use a nap myself," he offered with a mischievous smile.
"I won't be much company; my sparkles have started."
"I'm not pushing for anything. I just don't want to leave you alone right now. I will lie down and do nothing else. Doesn't that sound better than being alone?"
She sighed and opened her door. Her living room was clean, but her bedroom was messy clothes tossed on chairs, undergarments on the floor.
"I forgot to tell you how beautiful you looked in that dress last night," Lucas said as Tomorrow unzipped her dress and tossed it on top of the red one.
"Thank you, but you did say I was gorgeous," she reminded him as she laid down. She pulled the sheet up and in one quick movement, then her bra was tossed on the pile, and she settled in for her nap.
Dropping his shorts and removing his tee shirt Lucas slid into the other side of the bed. Knowing she was topless had his body surging. This is not the way he planned this seduction to start, but if this is the way it begins, so be it. Lucas thought and let fate take over making his move.
Lifting his arm up, Tomorrow rolled to his side, resting her head on his shoulder. Her hand ran across his chest, finding that soft down of hair on his chest she ran her fingers through it. Raising her leg, she bent her knee and draped it across his thigh. Wiggling a little more she settled in pressing her breast against his chest, shifting her knee higher she ran into his evident desire for her. He ran his hand over her back as she laid on his arm.
"You are supposed to be napping," Tomorrow reminded as her knee pressed him flat against his pelvis.
"Yeah, well he has a mind of his own."
Moving her knee back down, he sprang back up, "Hum he seems to be looking for something more than I was offering."
"Yeah, well he can calm down too. I will be happy to just sleep if that is what you want," he told her, kissing her forehead softly.
Shifting again, he went back down, "no, I think he would be happier if we gave him some relief and then took a nap," she suggested as Lucas rolled to get busy.
"I don't know it could take days and days of sex, to make him happy." Tomorrow said as he took her lips.
Lucas was a groaner and as he groaned into her mouth, his hand got busy. Tomorrow stretched and languished in his attention drawing her breast into his mouth, she put pressure on his head to hold him there. He groaned again as his hand went further down, pulling her panties down. As his head reached her stomach, kissing his way down, Tomorrow cupped his ears lifting his head. "Don't go any further, I have been working all day," she warned.
"You're impeding my seduction," he teased, laying his head on her stomach.
"It will give me something to look forward to when I'm clean."
She said and arched her hips lifting him up, "Come on and give him what he wants." Running his hand down her leg and up to her center, he found a very ready woman.
"Ah, come on Morrow," he begged, finding his hands agreeable. He got busy spreading her wetness. He wants to keep on going down. "Row is this because you don't like this or."
She cut him off before he could finish. "Billy did it once and said I stunk so no."
"He is a fool," and slid down her body, he spread her thighs and dove into what he wanted. He wanted her reaction, her need for him. Working her to a good foot high arch Lucas grabbed his shorts, slipped on a condom and slid in. Her hips arched and met him thrust for thrust. Finding her lips, he devoured her, hitting at the right angle her already excited core. He sent waves of ecstasy surging in her. Wrapping her legs around him, she held him in place as the orgasm engulfed her. Feeling her insides convulsed around him Lucas could hold out no longer and shot. With a deep groan, he arched his own hips and collapsed on her. A groaning chuckle escaped his lips, as he rolled to her side, "my god woman you feel good."
Rolling to her side, she pressed her thighs tightly together, "you're good too," she said. She then watched as Lucas got off the bed, moments later the sheet was tossed over her.
She heard the water running, the toilet flush, and the bed moved, she felt an arm slide around her waist. He moved until he was spooning her tightly against his chest, his thighs pressed against her bottom. He kept his hips back so she couldn't feel he was hard again. Moments later, she was sleeping, he could tell the slow rise and fall of her chest.
He was too wired to sleep, he wanted to keep going, but he knew she had to rest. He tried to relax, but he thought of a thousand things he could be doing and slipped his arm out from under her. Stepping away from the bed he collected his clothes. Tomorrow shifted, stretching out her toes and said, "I want to see your V."
Lucas laughed and walked towards her side of the bed. Boxers hanging low she ran a finger along the lines. His boxers jumped as she moved her hand away.
"Sorry, didn't mean to do that," she said and rolled to watch him dress.
"Ah, don't worry that has been my constant state since you stepped off the plane," squatting down, he kissed her cheek, "Sleep sweetie I'll come for you at dinner time."
"Ok, now what?" Tomorrow finally said out loud what she has been thinking for the last hour. She is bathed, dressed, and ready to go to dinner, what happens after. Is he expecting to have sex from now on? Is he expecting her to live with him? Because that is not happening, she promised God never again. Again, now what, filled her thoughts? Grabbing a shawl, that last squall brought in cooler weather looking at the shawl, she decided it would be easier to put it on the back of the chair than freeze without it.
"So much for coming to get me for dinner," she complained, walking towards the side entrance of the hotel. The smell coming from the restaurant made her stomach growl. It had been a long time since breakfast. Pearson was at the desk and pointed towards the game room. Tomorrow made a display of rolling her eyes as she made her way towards the room.
The poker chips she ordered came in already. Tomorrow was shocked at the one-day service on an island. Lucas sat at a table with three blue chips in front of him. He seemed deep in thought holding his cards to his chest as she stepped into the room. Heads turned as did his and he smiled brightly. "I only have three more to lose and I will be with you."
"Oh, such ambition," Tomorrow teased walking towards him, her sexuality drawing all his attention. Now he knows what she has, he is hooked. Who was he kidding? He was hooked when she stood, and those legs kept going on during their first skype. That was one of the reasons he hadn't pursued her sooner. He knew he would only think about her body once he had her. He needed his brain in the business first.
As she stood next to him, she flirted with the man with the most chips. Lucas looped his arm around her hips and pulled her to him. The sound of chips clattering drew her attention around the room. Nine tables filled with men and women; they had card games in full swing. A man Tomorrow had never seen before stood behind a makeshift bar. He smiled as she looked at him. Stepping away from Lucas, she approached.
"Could I make something for you? White wine, beer, or whiskey is all I can offer at this time," he said looking over his provisions.
"I take it your Niesha's friend."
"That I am, and you must be Tomorrow. She speaks so highly of you."
"That is sweet, she is a gem. I wish I had her energy. No thanks for the drink, I'm just waiting for Lucas to lose so we can go to dinner," she turned to see if he had as he stood wishing the rest of them luck. He walked towards her with a relieved but happy look to see her smile. "I will never be a poker player," he lamented.
"You don't have a poker face. You're either pleased or not and it shows on your handsome face," Tomorrow told him. Held in his embraces she put a little sway in her hip brushing against his stomach. "Are you looking to go to dinner or back to your room," Lucas whispered in her ear.
Shifting in his hug, holding his hand against her bottom as she walked, "I want dinner," Tomorrow told him but continued to stir his desire. For her it was payback for him not coming to get her for dinner.
"Ok, how did you get involved in a poker game?"
"The chips came, and I took them to the players and got talked into playing. We each got ten thousand dollars in chips each and it only took me two hours to lose it all."
"So, this group was back to playing?"
"Yep, when I came back after our wonderful break, three guys were looking for players, and then the chips came, and they were thrilled."
"I see Niesha's friend is here,"
"Yes, the bar staff said they couldn't keep going back and forth during the dinner serving time, so I had her call him. As you can see, he looks professional and handsome." Lucas pointed out.
"Handsome huh."
"Yes, according to a number of women, I heard whispers as we talked about his employment. He does nothing to turn me on. Now you, you can give me a side eye, and you have me," Lucas told her, intertwining their fingers.
Stepping into the dining room it was packed. Tomorrow did a quick head count and things weren't adding up, she said, "I think the word is out we have good food."
"I think your right half, these people don't stay here," Lucas noted. The host came and took them to a table. "I'm sorry Boss but this is the best I have to offer," he complained.
"No this is wonderful, lots of guests are better than a good table," Lucas assured him. He pats Lucas on the arm and goes to seat a new group that just arrived.
"You know what baby; we may have done it. This may be the go-to place."
Tomorrow ran her hand over his arm and whispered, "I do believe you have, I'm proud and I'm sure your grandfather is pleased."
"God, I hope so. I spent everything he left me and then some. A prayer and a hope were all I was hanging on to."
"No, this is a fun place, never doubt your vision. The world is full of young businesspeople looking for a place to relax and unwind. This place is a good place to do that. You just need to look at the people around you and see the smiles to assure you this place is going to work."
Lucas leaned forward and said, "That is what one of the poker players said. He loved to play the game but the stakes in Vegas were too steep. He could either have fun or go broke, so he decided to have fun here while he was looking for a vacation spot. Then everyone started playing poker and he has the best of both worlds. Beautiful beaches, women, and he could play cards too with others who love to play and not lose money. He was in heaven," Tomorrow squeezed his wrist saying, "you did good sweetie."
"I did and you are the icing on the cake, thank you so much for taking a chance on me. I was thinking about that first Skype conversation, and I was shocked you stayed with me much less came here. I was a maniac. I was at my wits end trying to find the right person to do the advertising for me and that name popped out at me. I knew you came from a family who had a sense of humor. Tomorrow Jones was a fantastic name; you had to be clever and beautiful to live up to that name. Then you answered my Skype request, and I was thrilled. There she was the girl of my dreams. You needed out of your life so badly. I knew this was meant to be."
"Thank you, my prince and your white horse was an airplane. But you're right, you were a maniac, and I was so close to closing my computer. I thought you were a joke; some jerk on the internet looking for trouble."
"But see I found you and I'm not a jerk. Right?" He asked, looking for verification.
Tomorrow smiled and reached to touch his cheek. "No, you're not a jerk, but I thought you were going to lock me in some basement as a sex slave," she told him with a laugh.
"And you still came?" He asked with a chuckle, almost shocked at her statement, but then again, it was Tomorrow.
"Well, at least I would get some attention."
Lucas shook his head. "And here I thought I needed to give you time to get to know me and get over that Billy's crap. I should have tied you to my bed and had my way with you months ago."
"No, you shouldn't have, and I knew better before I came here smarty. I looked you up after you told me you looked me up and I knew I would be Ok. Plus, David knew you and if I disappeared, he would tell people where I was going."
"Ok, so I don't get to tie you to my bed."
"Hum, maybe if I get to tie you up first."
"But isn't it more fun when I can move around?" he said, leaning towards her to start something up again.
"Yes, it is, but you started this conversation," Tomorrow reminded him, "you have one more problem with me."
"Oh, I do?" Lucas asked as his dinner was placed in front of him.
"I kind of promised God, I wouldn't shack up with another man if I didn't die. And you're definitely a man."
Picking up his fork, he shifted his grilled vegetables around and asked, "So what is your definition of shacking up?"
"Living together without the benefit of marriage is something I will never do again. I'm not looking for a marriage proposal. I'm just trying to be honest with you. I can't play that game again."
"Tomorrow I'm not looking to play games with you. I want you in my life and I would be thrilled for you to be my wife. I think we could have a wonderful life, living here, working here, to create a life for us. I will build you a nice home just up the beach and we can have little blonde babies and live the life," he said looking so earnest.
"Lucas, you have only known me for three months, we have had sex once. Why would you even think of marriage?"
"Well, I know I love you, there is no doubt in my mind," Lucas said and realized where they were, "let's finish up dinner and go to my apartment and talk. I'm not looking to play games with you."
Tomorrow had been sitting there listening in shock. Lucas tapped his fork on her plate, "eat baby, I haven't seen you eat all day."
She looked down at her plate and couldn't even remember ordering this. They both had the same dish. She picked up her fork and started to eat. "Lucas, I didn't tell you that to make you say or do anything. I just have to do what is best for me."
"I hear you, just eat for now and we will talk,"
Lucas was a little bit in shock too. He just asked Tomorrow to marry him, he knew in truth, he set his mind to marry her the moment she put him in his place on that first skype conversation.
He dated his old girlfriend for three years. Yes, he had been upset when his friend took her, but he was more upset at losing his friend. He just couldn't continue being friends with him after such betrayal. It has always been don't fuck in the other man bed. She was not the one and he knew it, but she had sex with him and that was enough to keep him coming back. They were comfortable with each other. He had his law firm he worked for, and she had hers. Getting together on weekends, they had satisfied both their needs.
At least he thought it had. The engagement was in name only, he had no intention of marrying her, and apparently, she knew it. Once his grandfather became ill, he was spending months away, his friend stepped in, and they clicked. Something she and Lucas never had. They are married now, and he is living the life in paradise. He hopes he will marry Tomorrow soon. He hoped before the court trial. He doesn't want to lose her to family obligations when she goes back to face that jerk. That is what he will work towards if she will have him.
Tomorrow swatted Lucas hard on his shoulder. He turned to bring his attention back to her and said, "let's discuss our feelings," she suggested well into an hour-long sex fest. Breathing heavy seeing sparkles is what inspired the swat. He still had one of her hands tied to his four-post bed. He has kept her lost in desire seeking her next orgasm, which had been many.
"You have to stop or I'm going to pass out," Tomorrow warned as she twisted to untie her hand. She had worked her other hand free thirty minutes before, not because she didn't like what he was doing, she just couldn't stand not being able to touch him. She loved his bed and the rails she could hang on to and at least use the leverage to lift her body. He had her going most of the time. Thank God she said not to tie her feet. She should have let him gag her, she knows the staff has heard her calling out his name and God was brought up a number of times.
"Ah honey, I'm sorry I was inspired."
"And I appreciate your inspiration, but I need a break."
Crawling up to the head of the bed, he cuddled around her.
As her eyes closed, his hand started moving. She clutched his hand and could not believe she was going to say this, but here goes, "stop I can't take any more."
"Okay," she heard him whisper. The bed moved; a sheet was tossed over her then a blanket. Finding the energy, she rolled to her side and snuggled in, her body was still humming from his attention. It would not be grunt, grunt and gone with this man.
The bed moved again, and she knew he was coming back. Scooting closer, his arm and leg came across her as his body wrapped around her. A quick kiss behind her ear, he whispered, "I love you, Morrow." He relaxed next to her, but a strong surge wracked her body and no matter how tired she was, she had to have him again.
Rolling in his embrace, she took his mouth, a kiss that told him what she wanted. Shifting his leg between her legs, she humped twice, and he immediately got busy.
"I thought you were going to tell me to leave you alone."
"No, I find that hard to do, but I do need a rest," Tomorrow said, snuggling into his chest. Catching the cover with his foot, he pulled it up and covered them again.
His alarm went off at 7:00. It was another big check out day. They will be down to about thirty guests and the next day down to ten. After that, it will be the off-season, and they only had fifteen reservations for the next few weeks. It is to be expected; rain is coming and many hotels close and do major cleaning and give employees time off. Lucas is doing the same, but they won't need to do a major cleaning. If people are looking for sunshine and heat, they have to go well below the equator. Lucas was looking forward to the quiet. They may have only been open for a few weeks, but he has been going non-stop for the last year. With his grandfather's death and bringing this hotel up to today's standards he has been hopping.
Stepping into the shower, he washed away that wondrous smell of Tomorrow. If he hadn't been sure, he was in love he had no doubt now. She was everything he has ever wanted. He intended to talk to Tomorrow, but she started making comments about his bed. Teasing him about tying her up, he played along and got caught up in her fantasy. He believes he fulfilled it.
Stepping out of his bathroom, she was stretching on his bed. She smiled when she saw him. "Hi sweetheart," he said, holding a towel to his chest, his rising desire he hopes is hidden. He needed to go and check in with the front desk, if she wants more, he is her man. "I was going to go see how things are going this morning. We have a lot of people checking out," he said and stooped at the edge of the bed giving her a fresh and minty kiss.
Fighting the urge to pull him back in the bed and attacking him. She knew she didn't have minty fresh breath. Turning her head, she told him, "Go and do your checking and I will clean up."
"Okay, I won't be gone long," he told her pushing off the side of the bed he stood next to.
"Okay, you go," she told him, wiggling in the bed.
"I have told you this before, you are cruel."
"You are the one who was cruel last night," she said and flipped the tie attached to the headboard.
"And you like it you little minx," he said coming towards her, dropping the towel. "You like that I was in control of your luscious body."
With a mischievous smile, she said, "Maybe, but it is my turn next time. I have plans for you."
"Okay, let me go and check up on the hotel and I will be back," Lucas told her with a grin. If she wants control of his body, he will give it to her. Lord, he loved this woman. The look on her face boiled his blood. He didn't know if he should be afraid or excited by her devious smile.
