"Nope, I don't like this place. It has that old used look to it."
"Yeah, and the sheets are cheap," Yesterday offered, fingering the covers on the bed. "We can go now or spend some time at the pool and watch the people," Tomorrow asked looking bored.
"What people, the place is dead," Yesterday complained.
"Ah all you want to do is go back so you can talk to Ty. All you have done is talk about him."
"He is so handsome, he is so good with people, and he smells so good."
"I'll give you that one, he does smell the best. I have yet to see a day's beard growth on him."
"That is because he doesn't want to disappoint you. He loves his job."
"He told you that?" Tomorrow asked.
"Yes, after you bid us good night we sat and talked for a long time."
"Is that all you did?"
"Yes, mother, he is a very nice man. I wish he had tried to kiss me, but no, he is nice. I tell you I have never felt the way I felt when I touched him. It was so strange."
Tomorrow described it as," a deep burning in the pit of your stomach?"
Yesterday nodded her head. "I felt that once with Dante, but I had to leave him behind. First, he is not someone mother would approve of, and second, I had to escape Billy's reach. Lucas gave me that feeling after I got to know him. He was a nice guy too and it took him months to kiss me. But once he did, watch out world," Tomorrow told her with a smile, remembering all the attention Lucas gave her and how excited he was about making a baby.
The excited look on Ty's face told Tomorrow everything. He had the hots for Yesterday he felt that burn too. He came out of the office as soon as Laurel called out their names smiling brightly.
"Well hello 007's what did you find?" He asked, walking towards them, but his eyes stayed on Yesterday.
"I can say I like it here best, but we got some ideas," Tomorrow told him as she embraced him. A generally friendly I'm back hug. His hug for Yesterday, he added a little moan.
It was just a few seconds too long in the parting. Tomorrow turned and looked at Laurel and smiled a knowing smile. They'll have to keep an eye on the closed office door.
"I wanted to show Yesterday an area we could turn into a small souvenir boutique store. We could sell island dresses, sandals, bathing suits, sunscreen, condoms, and shot glasses, you know things people buy on vacation. That was about all we thought we could change. I could run the shop and keep the baby with me once he is born."
"Oh, I didn't know that was what you were thinking. You would enjoy that, right Ty," Yesterday asked, keeping him involved in the discussion.
"Sounds good, but you may find that a baby is going to keep you busy," Ty told her.
"Yes, maybe I can hire someone to run the store if I find it is too much for me. Anyways, I was thinking about here and just opening up the wall. We can take a little of the game room, it is too big," Tomorrow said, opening up her arms in the area just before the card room. "We don't use this area. We could put the store in the front and leave the back for storage," she explained her idea. "But not right now. How was everything while I was gone?" She asked.
"Good, not one problem that we couldn't handle. A few overzealous drinkers, Diego and I escorted them to their rooms."
"He is a gem," Tomorrow said as Diego entered the lobby, she waved, and he changed direction and rushed to see her. Lifting her in a bear hug, they spoke about the trip inches from each other's mouths.
"I could have told you all that and saved you the trip. I worked at half of them. I quit Windsor to come to work here."
"That place was like what you would expect to find in the states," Yesterday said.
They had a desk brought in, one of the old ones from the old rooms. Lucas kept the ones in the best shape to use in the apartments and now the office. She only needs room for her computer and a calculator. She suggested they remove the couch, but Tomorrow figured if the romance blooms that couch may see some more action. Nixing the removal, she sat on it remembering the good times.
Tomorrow left Ty to set her up and take her to buy a computer and anything else they needed for her job. Tomorrow was exhausted and was looking to relax in her room before dinner.
Ty and Yesterday roamed the island looking for what she needed. Exchanging what they knew about Lucas and the whole crazy LeMoine's family. He added a number of things she hadn't heard from Tomorrow. Laurel told him most of it while they were gone. Mainly they found out they got along well together and learned where things were on the island. Ty's interest deepened for her. Everything about her drew him in. He was thrilled she was staying to work here.
"I know I was so excited to even be thought of to run this place. When I got here, it was like I had the job if I wanted it. David the FBI man had checked me out. For him I was good, and Tomorrow was desperate for some help. I was slaving away in Austin at the downtown Hilton given the worst jobs and this popped up on the job search site that I browsed most days, praying to find something else to do before I went to work," Ty told her as they headed back to the hotel. "I took classes in hotel management thinking it would be fun, but it was hell once I found a real job."
"Me… I graduated early and could find nothing. I told Tomorrow I was desperate to find something. I had to get out of my mother's house."
"Sounds like we both lucked out."
"Yes, we did. Of course, I didn't know she owned this place until I got here."
Tossing the keys to Sammy, they carried the packages in.
"Hey, some joker overflowed the toilet on the third floor. Diego and Quashawn are up there working on the mess." Bruce informed him as they walked in. Placing the packages on the counter, he left to go see the mess as he called out the room number. Yesterday collected the items, took them to the office, and started to unpack all her goodies. For her it was like a late Christmas.
"Housekeeping is cleaning the rug. The guys in the room threw towels on the floor to contain the water thank goodness," Ty said, finding Yesterday sitting at his desk. She was downloading the financial files from the hotel's computer onto a flash drive to transfer to her new computer.
"So, they contained the mess," she asked, looking for more sites holding financial information. "Sounds like they should have a free dinner," she teased, hoping he would catch on quickly. She hoped he would ask her to accompany him to dinner.
"They always get a free dinner. I was thinking of a free beer," Ty countered her offer.
"Truly a beer does sound good," she offered with a smile.
She looks so cute to him; it took everything in him to not lean down and kiss her. With a low groan, he turned away. What would Tomorrow think if she knew he was falling for her sister? He didn't know how he was going to get any work done with her right behind him.
As it is, she was all he thought about since the first time he laid eyes on her. That gut-wrenching knot has kept him half-hard for days in anticipation of seeing her again. Right now, he was willing it to stay down just because she smiled at him. "Lord, I'm doomed. I'll be back begging for my job back in Austin when she fires me," he mumbled as he made his way to the front desk.
"They resolve the problem?" Bruce asked as the last guest left the check in desk.
"Yes, thank God and we don't seem to have water damage on the ceiling on the floor below, so we are good." Ty assured them.
Yesterday stepped out of the office, her happy eyes and bright smile that told everyone she was into Ty too. Bruce looked at Laurel with a knowing smile and watched as Ty approached her.
"So, is everything Ok?" Laurel asked, bringing his attention back to them.
"Yeah, it was probably the four girls in the other room. It seemed to be a feminine product clogging the line." Ty told her and followed Yesterday back to the office.
"Not I, my father taught us better," Yesterday told him, "I think I found all the financial files, but if you could check and make sure I have them all then I will leave you alone," she offered but he didn't like the sound of that.
"Sure, I can do this," he said and sat down at his desk. Yesterday stood behind him with her hand on his shoulder and as he searched, she leaned on his shoulder to point out the sites she already had. With her breast pressing on his back, he couldn't think and didn't dare move, he wanted that connection. Even if it was only an innocent touch, he craved it.
Taking a deep breath, he focused on the screen. He moved his shoulder to point at the screen, his shoulder blade brushed against her breast. He fought to keep from moaning. Did she not know how she affected him?
Shifting her weight, she brushed against his neck as she reached to point at a site on the screen. Pressure of him turning his chair, forced her to step back. Turning to look into her beautiful blue eyes he sighed and said, "You don't know what you do to me," he said, as he willed his body to not overreact. Shifting his legs in case he had to cross them. She stepped back a few feet and smiled, "Oh is that so? Well, you don't know what you do to me either. So, are you my boss?
"I'm just wondering what the fraternizing rules are in this place," she asked, looking into his dark green eyes with those dark lashes lining his eyes. She found his face mesmerizing and loved the dimple that came to his cheek as he smiled. That dimple became visible as he looked at her.
"I believe you work for your sister, and I don't know the fraternizing policy here. I'm thinking they don't have one considering how Tomorrow and Lucas met."
"That is true, so let me do one thing," she said and stepped back to his side, leaned down quickly placing her lips on his. Giving him a soft but inspiring kiss, it reached down and grabbed Ty's guts, pulling him up as she backed away.
"I do believe I need that site so if you would download that one too, I will have them all," she said watching him flush as he sat back down.
Ty quickly downloaded the site and pulled the flash drive. Spinning in his chair, he stood as Yesterday sat down in her chair.
She had been standing there watching him work wondering what was going to happen now. She couldn't pass up the chance he was sitting right there smelling so good looking so scrumptious.
She had kissed a few boys in her time, but they had been the aggressors. Had she been too aggressive? She had to fight her urges to back off. She wanted to sit in his lap and continue the kiss, but Ty, he was in a different class. This one had captured her body and soul all she could think about is another kiss. She had accomplished that one kiss, now what; the knot she felt in her stomach was only tightening.
He started to move, pulled the flash drive, so she quickly pulled her chair out and sat down. She knew he was there, the smell of his cologne, his body heat told her he was right behind her.
"Ok, this should be all the financial records he had, but if I could show you one more thing," he said and Yesterday turned to look up at him. His hand went around her neck, holding her captured to his will and his will was to plant a very demanding kiss on her lips. As the kiss progressed, she stood never losing contact with his mouth, her head tilted, arms went around waists, one hand went up Yesterday's back to clutch her closer to his body.
His pronounced arousal pushing against her pelvis told her he was serious about the kiss and his attraction for her. A smile grew on her face as the kiss continued her hand went lower to cup his very nicely rounded ass pulling him tighter to her. That produced a moan from him as he lowered his forehead to hers and backed away.
"I think we got a little carried away here," he said as he backed away, placing his hand in front of his crotch.
"I would say so. So, what are your intentions for my sister?" Tomorrow asked as she stood in the doorway to the office. "By the way, next time, close the door," she said, watching their faces strobe red.
"Oh no, that was not planned. We just got caught up in the moment. Sorry," Yesterday told her, watching Ty's embarrassment.
"I'm sorry Tomorrow, I won't let it happen again," Ty said, trying to straighten his clothes that didn't need it.
"Oh, that is too bad, you two look good together," Tomorrow said looking between them. "I was hoping to have dinner with you two, but maybe you should have dinner together and work out what is happening here. You know that was why I left the couch in here. I could see where this was heading," she said and turned to walk away.
She heard them burst out laughing, the door closed, she hoped the kissing continued. She was impressed with Ty. He was a good man and could see why he was interested in Yesterday. She was a beautiful woman; she has grown into her body very well. Still the shortest of the bunch, but her heels brought her up to be even with Ty.
"Bruce, would you have dinner with me? We haven't had time to get to know one another," she said as she approached the front desk. "You can tell me how the weather was back in Texas," she teased and smiled at Laurel. "You will be alright on your own, right?" Tomorrow asked, knowing Becca should be in in a few minutes.
"Yes, if not I'll call you," she teased back, knowing this time of the day was quiet, only diners came in the hotel. The only thing Bruce and she were doing was setting up the rooms for the spring break crowd coming in a few weeks. She was trying to separate the boys and the girls by a floor, hoping to slow the room jumping a little.
She remembered her senior year spring break the boys in the next room were an enticement for miss behavior after a few drinks. She was glad that she only had a few weeks of school left. She had acted a slut and a fool and a few of the boys had gone to U.G. She caught glimpses of them on campus. Their cheeky grins that mocked her at each meeting kept her mad for months.
Lesson learned until Gavin, he broke down her resolve and she slipped back into her slutty self just for him. She was impressed with him. He had kept up with her at every turn, something three men had not been able to do during that break. No Gavin was a randy man, something she needed once she got wound up and he was coming next week. She hoped she would often.
