"When you said we should go out, I didn't know you were talking about going clubbing." DeSean spoke as they stood in front of a club named Ghost.
"What were you thinking I meant?" She looked at him.
He shrugged. "I don't know. A restaurant or something."
"I want to go to a place where I can be wayward. Eating ice cream in that stuffy apartment is depressing. I want to forget my sorrows." She said.
"You know you're still gonna remember your sorrows when you sober up." He said.
"I know. But I want to forget for the time being."
"I'm not even dressed properly." He gestured to himself. His dressing was completely in contrast with what Elsa wore. She was beautifully dressed in a black mini dress with an oversized denim jacket over the shoulders matched with nice accessories and black strappy heels. She also wore makeup which was beautiful and her hair was let down.
"Eh, it's too late for that. We're already here." She said and he frowned.
"Don't they have dress codes and shit?" He looked at the bouncer who was staring at them with an amused smile.
"Nope." She shook her head.
"The club isn't even going to be filled. It's not even night time." He argued.
"Well, Ghost isn't like that. It's always crowded, no matter the time." She said.
"That's a lie. There's not even a line of people here outside the club." He said.
"You'll see for yourself. Let's go." She took his hand and they walked to the bouncer and showed him their ID and he let them in.
"What the fuck?" He was shocked at the amount of people in the club. The club was filled. People were dancing, grinding, dry humping, drinking, which was surprising because it wasn't even night time and it was a Monday.
"Surprised, right?" She smirked.
"Who owns this place?" He questioned as he looked around.
"Someone. Come on." She held his hand and they walked, pushing past sweaty bodies, to the VIP section upstairs.
"VIP section?" He raised a brow.
"Yeah, you're paying." She said as she plopped down on the red chair.
"What?" He asked.
"I'm grieving and you're consoling me." She said and signaled a waiter.
"A bottle of Azul, Hennessy VSOP." She told the waiter. DeSean's eyes widened at the order.
"El-" He started.
"What? You can afford it." She said and added more drinks to the order and then the waiter left. DeSean sighed and sat beside Elsa.
"How did you find this place?" He asked Elsa.
"Deborah." She simply said. Deborah was a close friend of Elsa. DeSean had met her twice and she was wild; not the type of girls he liked. He sighed as the waiter came with a casket of their drinks.
Elsa clapped her hands with glee. "Thank you. You're so lovely." She said to the shy waiter as he put the drinks on the table. There was Jameson Irish whiskey, Azul, Hennessy VSOP, Martini, Sprite and two bottles of water.
"You can join us." Elsa offered.
"I'm still working." The waiter said.
"Aw. Okay." Elsa said and the waiter gave a curt nod and left.
"You drinking?" She questioned as she opened the bottle of Hennessy.
He shook his head. "I'm on meds, so nah."
"Good. Cause I'm bout to finish this shit." She said as she opened the bottle of Azul.
"Take it easy." He said.
"I came here not to take shit easy." She said and took a shot of the Hennessy and banged the glass on the table.
"This is the life!" She yelled. She opened the whiskey, poured it in a glass and took a shot. One by one, she took all the drinks, yelling after each shot. DeSean just sat back and watched her, not trying to stop her.
She got up abruptly. "I'm going to dance."
"Elsa, no." He disagreed.
"Come with me." She held his hand. He sighed and got up. He allowed her to drag him to the dance floor. She freed his hand and started dancing, moving her hips, swaying to the beat. He just stood there with his arms crossed, watching as she danced, stopping any male from trying to dance with her.
Someone bumped into him from behind, spilling alcohol on his shirt. He frowned as he turned back to see the culprit only for his frown to deepen as he recognized who it was.
"Sorry." The younger man with blonde hair dressed in a suit, holding a red disposable cup, whom he despises, apologized without looking at him.
"Thought he was confident." He thought and scoffed inwardly.
"Baldwin." He spoke coldly. The younger man's eyes widened as he recognized who it was.
"Sorry sir." Gary apologized, feeling embarrassed.
"DeSean!!" Elsa yelled. Though there was loud music, her voice was louder. She walked to DeSean with Mercedes. His eyes scanned Mercedes. She was dressed in a black camisole, blue jeans and heels. Her hair was let down and her smokey eye makeup was beautiful. She held a purse and a red disposable cup.
"Look who I found." She yelled with a giggle.
He caught her checking him out making him smirk slightly. "Miss Lexington." He said without any emotion.
She cleared her throat and looked at him in the eyes. "Mr Savage." She said in the same tone.
"Come on." Elsa yelled and dragged Mercedes with her to their section. DeSean and Gary following behind.
"Sit, we have lots of drinks. DeSean is so generous, he bought these all for me. I want to share with you guys." Elsa said, her words slurry. She sat down and motioned for the others to sit.
"You know, my mom died." She slurred as she poured herself some whiskey.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Mercedes apologized. Gary didn't say anything.
"Maybe he knew already." DeSean thought.
"Same day-" She hiccuped. "Same day they shot DeSean." She said and took a shot of her whiskey.
"I was stabbed, not shot." DeSean corrected with a slight frown.
"Shut up!" She yelled making DeSean flinch which caused Mercedes and Gary to chuckle. He glared at them making them stop.
"They killed my sweet mother. So I'm drowning -" She poured herself another shot of whiskey.
"In my sorrows." She said and took the shot.
"Drink with me." She said to Mercedes and Gary, motioning for them to pour themselves drinks which they did.
"Cheers." She said and the three of them clinked their glasses and drank their alcohol.

"So you have tattoos." Mercedes slurred as she spoke to DeSean, touching his left arm. He frowned and slapped her hand away.
"Ow." She rubbed her hand.
"You're rude." Gary mumbled. They were all drunk except him. He sighed. He looked at Elsa who was passed out on the chair, Mercedes was still rubbing her hand and Gary was pouting with his arms crossed.
"Miss Lexington."
"I can't hear you." She blocked her ears with her hands. He sighed and shook his head and looked at Gary.
"Baldwin."
"I can't see you." Gary spoke and closed his eyes making Mercedes giggle.
"Stupid children." He muttered in French.
"Let's go." He said and got up.
"No." Gary and Mercedes said in unison and laughed. He frowned and facepalmed, regretting why he let them drink too much.
"Let's go now!" He spoke sternly with a deep frown on his face. The two listened and got up but sadly, they sat down back as they were too drunk to stand by themselves. They giggled which got him annoyed. He took Elsa's clutch, and collected her car key. He carried Elsa on his back. She was a lightweight and dead asleep.
"I'll be back." He said to the giggling duo and left the club. Stepping outside , he saw it was already nighttime meaning they spent hours in the club. He sighed and walked to where Elsa parked her car. It was a black Toyota Corolla. He unlocked the car and put Elsa in the backseat.
He sighed and went back inside the club.
"I'm gonna carry you now, Miss Lexington." He carried her bridal style and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He left the club and put her in the car in the backseat and went back inside the club.
"You're gonna have to walk, Baldwin." He said and helped Gary get up. He helped him walk by putting his hand across his shoulder and they left the club. He put him in the passengers seat and closed the door.
"Y'all are gonna pay for this." He said and entered the driver's seat. He strapped his seatbelt and started the car and drove to Elsa's house.
