I lay my head on Zoran's shoulder, smiling naturally. "Of course."

Of course I'll stay by your side, watching as you fall from grace until you have nothing left.

The next day, Zoran arranged to meet Serenity early. I don't know what reason he gave, but surprisingly, Serenity actually showed up.

She took off her sunglasses, revealing her usual exquisite face, though her brow was clouded with an air of illness.

"Why did you ask me to come here?"

She placed her newly bought designer handbag on the chair beside her and spoke with an impatient tone.

Zoran stared at her darkly. "Serenity, I've always treated you well. Why would you do this to me?"

Serenity laughed as if she'd heard something amusing. "Treated me well? If you treated me so well, why didn't you divorce her? You promised me you would!"

She pointed at me, her face full of confusion.

"And you! He killed your child, yet you still shamelessly follow him around. You're truly pathetic!"
