The Saviour

Kai saw what was unfolding before him, he didn't just feel helpless he knew he was helpless that there was nothing he could do, all he could do was watch as his best friend was about to be used as dinner for that creature, immediately a pair of legs moved past him in a seamless blur, on looking up he couldn't get a clear look of whom the person was but he was sure that person was a guy.

He ran with unwavering focus, a spark of hatred in his eyes for the creature the ground beneath him completely shattered as he leaped into the air then he said and as he moved towards his target he whispered to himself.

"Super Nova third form" immediately landed a precise and accurate punch to the neck of the creature, it was an easy target as it's head was faced upwards as it waited for it's meal to land immediately the punch landed all the triangular shaped metal on his arm began hitting each other starting from the one at his shoulder level to the one at his wrist at an almost unbearable speed and force "SILVER BULLET!" He yelled at the very top of his voice which echoed throughout the streets, the force of the metal caused his fist to automatically create a second impact but the second impact was like a cannon as it shot a whole straight through the neck all the way to the back of the neck

In an instant the creature died as it fell to the ground, the brave warrior landed to the ground on both legs tilting his head to the left a little to look at Caden's bloodied body, feelings of pity and pain could be seen in his thick black eyes.

Kai's jaw was completely down as he witnessed what just happened in his front, his eyes widened with shock and only one word came out from his mouth "Only a single blow", he snapped back to reality immediately he heard "He's dead".

Kai ran over to Caden and held him in his arms using his palm to shake his face while yelling "Caden, Caden no no no no no no no" his grip loosened as he slowly accepted reality that his best friend was no more, "Caden" Kai whispered the shock he had gone through prevented him from shedding tears, after all reality just changed before him in under 10 minutes.

"I'm sorry" the warrior whispered "If only I was here sooner your friend would still be alive" Kai on looking closer to his face realized he was just as young as a teenager, surprised he asked "How old are you ?" He didn't understand the point of the question but he knew he was hurting so he answered "16", Axel's eyes grew in shock "You're 16 years old" each word he said was getting weaker than the last.

"Look man you should probably start going home it isn't safe out here" Aiden said

"How are you this strong I mean we're practically the same age you shouldn't be that strong tell me how you are that strong, COME ON TELL ME!" His voice filled with anger as he yelled. "Go home kid" Aiden said softly as he walked away. 

Kai held onto Caden tighter and bent his head "If only I was as strong as you then I, I could have saved my friend all I could do was to stand there and watch as my best friend got devoured, what the hell was that thing ?", "A Lumivern probably level 3 or 4 am not sure" Aiden answered like Kai was his comrade who understood what just happened.

"Where did they come from why are they even here in our city ?" Kai asked. Silence was in the air before Aiden said "Am sorry for your loss" He then walked away completely ignoring Kai's questions.

Kai could only look up to the brave warrior who had just saved his life in amazement and awe everything about him was so cool even the way he walks Kai thought to himself.

The Crimson Vanguard- Training Room

Aiden's hands are on a wall his face downwards and his heart pounding with rage "Damn it!" Images of Kai and Caden keep flashing through his head "If only I was fast enough, if only I was stronger even just a little bit then then" "Then what you could have saved them, you could have stopped demons from ever attacking this city, you could have saved your friends from dying too" A tall masculine figure dressed in black both up and down his hair also black and glasses on with shimmering green eyes stood he was obviously older than Aiden around his mid twenties.

"Someone's wyning more than usual today", He taunted, "Someone died" Aiden whispered "Let me guess the next line, and it's all my fault" He said with a slight chuckle "Get a grip on yourself Aiden, enough with the wyning you have saved more people and killed more demons and sorceres more than any student at this school so what do you want, no matter what you can't save everybody can't you at least get that part into your skull"

"I get it that's not it, it was something different today, they were these kids about one of them died saving the other while the other had a chance to run away but he didn't, and it just, it just brought old memories back of that day both of them had no power but yet they stood up for each other to fight a Lumivern".

Mr Zane walks closer to him and places his hands on Aiden's shoulder "It's okay to feel regret, hell I feel regret for a lot of things I did back when I was younger, you just gotta let go of the past, you carrying that luggage around isn't gonna make them come back, they're gone all of them and there's nothing you can do to bring them back, you really wanna get stronger right, your fist is heavy and anytime you land a punch you don't deliver your best hit let go of all that luggage and you'll see how much stronger you can become". 

"The pain is the only reason I got stronger in the first place" Aiden whispered, "Yeah that was two years ago but now it's time for a change look for another drive that's not pain and you'll become even stronger than I could ever hope to be" though giving an advice his voice still had a bit of authority mixed with cheerfulness in it.
