8: Summoning Shukaku

"Wait a minute, I'll try to see if I can summon the other Tailed Beasts..." Kaido said as he prepared to peel open the scar on his hand.

'Can you really summon such monsters again?' At this moment, both King and Doflamingo, who were still floating in the sky, felt as if their entire worldview had been shattered. And from the words of the Nine-Tails just now, they had learned an earth-shattering secret.

This fox-like creature was not from their world. That meant Kaido, using some kind of power, had summoned a monster from another world. Kaido was already a monster himself, and now he could summon even more monsters. The future of their world seemed uncertain, with so many variables now in play.

After all, if creatures like the Nine-Tails really existed in their world, how could they not have known about them?

Just as Kaido began to peel at the wound, the Nine-Tails spoke, slightly exasperated, "The contract between us is a partnership contract, and because it's a special one, it doesn't require blood as a medium."

"What? No blood?" Kaido asked, surprised.

The Nine-Tails, sounding more exasperated, responded, "Didn't you know when we made the contract? You didn't even ask, did you?"

Kaido thought to himself, What do you mean, I didn't know? The system just forced the contract on me. I didn't even get a chance to ask anything.

Kaido looked at the Nine-Tails and tentatively asked, "So, does this mean I can summon you directly?"

The Nine-Tails growled in annoyance, "Of course! How else did you summon me earlier? Did you forget already?"

Kaido sighed inwardly. Damn, I just crossed over! Why are there so many ridiculous rules here? Then he thought back to the hand seals he had just made and realized he had no idea what he did—it was just some random hand seals that somehow summoned the Nine-Tails.

Seeing Kaido's confusion, the Nine-Tails sighed in frustration, "You just need to clap your hands and say the name of the Tailed Beast you want to summon."

"It's that simple?" Kaido was stunned. "No hand seals or anything?"

The Nine-Tails snapped, "Do you even know what hand seals are in your world? And it seems like your world doesn't even have chakra! Although I can sense immense energy in you, it's not chakra. It's probably a type of energy similar to chakra."

"Energy? Like Haki?" Kaido asked, more confused than ever. He glanced up at King and Doflamingo in the sky, clearly annoyed, "I told you both to stay on the shore, didn't I? Why are you both here?"

King, still staring at Kaido standing on the Nine-Tails' back, was even more shocked. If Kaido could control such a powerful monster, the Beast Pirates' strength would increase dramatically. He spoke up, "We saw the creature and got curious, so we came over."

"Monsters? To you weak humans, of course, we are monsters," the Nine-Tails scoffed as it looked down at King with disdain. "But what exactly do your world's people eat? You're all much taller than humans from my world, but your strength is still so weak."

"What did you say?" Time and time again, the Nine-Tails belittled them, and King's temper began to flare. After all, he was one of the highest-ranking members of the Beast Pirates, Kaido's first lieutenant. It wasn't easy being constantly insulted.

Kaido, now very curious, wondered how the power levels of the One Piece world compared to the Naruto world. The Tailed Beasts, as the strongest beings in the Naruto world, each possessed immense chakra, with incredible regeneration and near-immortal healing abilities. He was eager to know how their powers would measure up in a world without the unique techniques of eye jutsu and sealing arts.

At this moment, Kaido spoke with a hint of amusement in his voice, "King, Doflamingo, how about you two fight against the Nine-Tails? Let's see who's stronger between you and him."

"Hey, Kaido, are you looking down on me?" The Nine-Tails, hearing Kaido's words, immediately became furious. The murderous intent in his beastly eyes surged, and he roared at Kaido, "Don't think that just because we signed a contract, it means we're equals. You're not even worthy! If you dare to speak to me like that again, I'll eat you alive!"

Kaido instantly felt awkward and embarrassed, but he held back. After all, the contract with the Tailed Beasts was a partnership agreement, so speaking to the Nine-Tails in a commanding tone did seem inappropriate. He cleared his throat and said, "Nine-Tails, can you give me some face in front of my subordinates? I mainly want them to see your strength. If you're not willing, then just show them the power of your Tailed Beast Bomb. That way, when I introduce you to my crew in the future, they'll accept you more easily."

"Hmph..." The Nine-Tails snorted arrogantly, "I have no interest in befriending you weak humans. Us Tailed Beasts are the embodiment of disaster, the source of calamity. Each of us has the power to destroy the world. What's so special about showing off? Besides, I am the leader of the Nine Great Beasts, and I won't lower myself to perform for these humans. If you want to see the destruction power of a Tailed Beast Bomb, summon Shukaku. He's the weakest among us."

Kaido was speechless, and King and Doflamingo were equally dumbfounded. However, there was one thing that caught their attention—the power to destroy the world.

The only person currently recognized as possessing the power to destroy the world was Whitebeard. Yet, this creature claimed that all the Tailed Beasts had such power, and there were nine of them. What kind of concept was that?

More importantly, Kaido, that arrogant guy who usually acted invincible, seemed helpless against the Nine-Tails, which only further proved the Fox's strength.

Kaido, with his hands clasped together, growled, "Summoning Jutsu, summon, One-Tail Shukaku..."

With a loud boom, a large cloud of smoke erupted in front of Kaido. A few seconds later, the smoke began to dissipate, revealing a creature whose body appeared to be made of sand, covered in blue markings.

"Who the hell summoned me?" As soon as Shukaku appeared, he immediately started cursing. When he saw the Nine-Tails and Kaido on its back, he was taken aback, "Oh, so it's you, huh? The human who signed a contract with the Nine Tailed Beasts... Kaido, right?"

What's going on? My Haki seems to have drained so quickly! Kaido was surprised, looking at his palm and realizing he could no longer use Armament Haki.

Shukaku, noticing Kaido's surprise, looked at him and said, "Hey, I'm talking to you! Your name's Kaido, right?"

"Yeah, that's me." Kaido nodded in response, still trying to process the strange sensation in his body.

As Shukaku looked at him, Kaido couldn't help but think about how much his energy had depleted after summoning the Tailed Beast. Was there a limit to this power?
