Truth
Truth is a bitter, harsh reality—

has claws that may be delayed but never denied.

In the end, death is the truth that all living beings shall acknowledge whether one wants or not…

Coast of Truth

In the situation I am in.I'd expect anyone to be scared, I expected myself to be scared.

Opponent is undoubtedly strong, maybe the strongest I've ever seen.

And maybe I was scared initially but right now what I am feeling is not fear.

and the ability to make decisions.

But my mind is now rather clear, I am faster and more precise with each slice.

It's been strange since I woke up, a chunk of my memories is missing but I have the feeling I will remember them eventually.

But it hasn't tried to harm me yet.

Though strange and dangerous this is… however it's way better than just laying on the hospital bed all day long unable to move even a limb.

I've watched as my sister, my father, my relatives blamed me for the death of my mother.

Just staring at the white seeing as those words of blame were thrown at me while I lay there motionless,unable to defend myself.

But that doesn't matter now. I came here to find out what happened to her, and I will.

The answers I seek, I will find them.

I would have done the combination of water, ice , lightning and then shatter them since I am short on mana crystals and it wouldn't work with such a huge grade difference.

Stepping closer, i sliced the roots which were attacking me diagonally

Using the knife only when it's impossible to dodge. I rolled on the ground, dodging to the side as my arm got bruised by the rubble and the closer I got, the slower the roots were but they were more in numbers.

[Mutant corpse flowers grade is wavering]

Roots circled around me leaving me no room to escape but I was close enough to use the mana crystal.

I threw the mana crystal with tide engraved on the ground,it shattered and a big tide of water materialised pushing the roots back and giving me room to act.

Using the tide as a distraction I closed the distance between me and the mutant corpse flower, its eyes still closed.

I threw the engraved mana stone with a lightning spell, it shattered with the help of water, electricity spread even more and all of the roots nearby that were affected by the tide were fried.

Slowly I went to the corpse flower, it was still as if it was dead, its upper body of a girl and lower body buried in the rubble.

It would not move, and either tide nor lightning affected it.

Its skin though no matter where I sliced it would not cause any damage.

Damaged roots were starting to regenerate. What should I do?

I threw the engraved mana crystal with an explosion spell hoping to cause some damage.

But as the dust settled, what I feared came true. it did not cause any damage and the monster opened its eyes…
