As I tried to move I was assaulted by a terrible pain in every inch of my body, slowly opening my eyes and saw two unknown women looking at me.

Looking around I found myself in a bedroom, luxurious bedroom with a big bed, a table, a big window and beside me some medical equipment. 

"Good you are awake, i am sure you are pretty confused but don't rush to get up, we won't hurt you"

"Okay," I said , looking at the two girls in front of me.

"Hmm… that was easy "

"If you wanted to hurt me you wouldn't have gone to the trouble of treating me to begin with" i said looking at the medical blood stained equipment and bandages. And besides 'i am completely vulnerable right now '

"Ohh you mean the bandages and those medical supplies" pointing at the table filled with bandages and medical supplies, the girl with light brown hair and emerald eyes smiled. 

" yes and thank you for treating me miss…" I expressed my gratitude honestly as the saying goes,

'words expressing gratitude , love and hate should always come from the heart or else they lose their meaning.'

" Ohh at least you know how to be polite unlike certain people here" laughed the girl with brown hair while pointing at the other girl that just stood by the wall not even bothering to reply.

I could see why she was called rude indirectly, and honestly with the way she is staring at me it's giving me goosebumps.

" ahh i see, my name is Cardea, miss may i ask for your name ? " I introduced myself and subtly hinted to the girl in front to do the same.

" You don't need to be so formal, be comfortable. I don't like talking formally, talk to me as if you would to anyone your age" shrugged the girl, catching the intent behind my words.

"Okey" dropped the formalities and I simply nodded.

"Good, i am Layse a doctor and this is my sister suzanne" 

"Do you remember where you where before this Cardea"

"Yes i was fighting a mutant corpse flower and i passed out after killing it and that's the last memory i have"

"Good means you are not suffering from concussion or any brain damage that's good, let me tell you how you got here" layse paused to see if i was following and then continued " after you passed out my little sister here brought you here to get treated"

"Though I am thankful for you treating me why did she bring me here instead of just calling an ambulance and sending me to a hospital" it was suspicious that instead of calling an ambulance or taking me to a hospital she brought me to a apartment to get treated.

" I can say as a doctor your condition was urgent but I am still in the dark as to why she brought you home instead of going to some hospital. Are you in a relationship with her? "Layse teased me along with Suzanne who did not utter a single word yet, but failed to get a reaction.

Both sisters are quite beautiful. Layse here had light brown hair and emerald eyes and Suzanne had dark brown hair with dull crimson eyes or to be precise eyes as she had an eye patch on left one.

Noticing me looking at her Suzanne spoke," no need to thank me if i had taken action sooner you would not have gotten injured so it was my responsibility to see to it that you got the best treatment and even if a little goofy my sister here is one of the best doctor in the whole country."

" you don't need to be weary by the daunting look on her she seems cold but she has a soft heart"

"S…I…S…ter lyse why are you spouting nonsense just check if he is alright and go sit in the living room" spoke Suzanne clearly annoyed by the remarks of her sister.

" alright alright, everything seems to be alright let them heal a bit more than we can use potions to heal you quick, do you have anyone you want to inform or contact" layse asked as it's basic protocol in any hospital, usually a nurse handles such formalities or the ones at counter. but since we were not in hospital she had to ask herself.

"No, I don't need to contact anyone. " I assured, there was no one I could contact, not anymore.

"Alright , let me brief you on what went down." layse just smiled as if she understood what I meant.

" When I first saw you, you had small bruises all over the body, blood was coming out of your head, you had some broken ribs, dislocated left arm, injured eye , and a hole in your stomach that barely missed the spinal cord.

Normally in hospitals doctors heavily rely on healing potions but they dont work if the injuries are as series are yours, i patched you up, we are gonna wait for a week or two and let it heal a bit before using portions and healing it completely.

There was some debris inside you too that made potions a bad choice and I am happy to say they won't leave a scar unless you want one? If u do you should tell me i can make it happen " 

Layse summeried it all so cleanly that it gave the feeling it was no big deal at all.

"Ahh no no i don't want scars thank you for briefing me, how long was i out for ? " My body is stiff and aches like thousands of ants are biting and walking on it.

"from the time you were brought here 3 days"

"I was out for 3 days!"

"Yes that's why i checked if u had any brain injury but all is okey "

"But I am curious what type of monster you were fighting ofcourse you said it was a mutant corpse flower but they are mostly pawn grade and grade c even considering your stats you would be able to run away since they don't follow their prey after it's far enough…."

"Alright sister, since you are done with the checkup go to the living room i have something to discuss with him and he needs rest too he just woke up" Suzanne cutt Layse slowly made her go outside the room.

As if sensing my internal turmoil Suzanne asked layse to give us some time together in pretext of discussing something with me.

"Alright but if you feel something is off give me a call i am right outside and call me sister Layse instead of miss okey "

she said it with such a stern expression i got the feeling she wouldn't leave until i complied and naturally i did comply "Alright sister Layse"

"Good" after being pleased with the arrangement, Layse left the room, leaving me alone with this scary woman.

"I am sorry about her i am sure it was hectic to wake up and find her chatting away at you"

To my surprise the younger sister who is also kinda scary is actually nice.

"First of all i want to apologise if just had acted sooner i could have prevented this accident" suzanne bowed, i could feel her sincerity and guilt she must be feeling.

"Why are you apologising to me?, you don't seem like one of the officials dispatched" 

"Let me formally introduce myself, i am suzanne Warshell an instructor and a official reinforcement dissipated to the mutant blood incident, the count of lives lost is approximately 20 thousand and still counting, and you are the sole survivor of the incident"

"Still doesn't explain why you are apologizing to me"

"When i reached there i was informed that the mutant coarse flower ascended before it was estimated and you were confronting it. Instead of rushing to help I just sat there waiting for the clearance of the officials which to the end it never came. I was foolish for waiting, if i had come earlier you wouldn't have gotten injured to this extent "

"I see, let me make this clear you are by no means responsible for what happened at the hotel, it could have been prevented yes but you can't be everywhere, don't blame yourself and unlike those officials to whom i was just another casualty you actually took me home and i am being treated with the grade of treatment i wouldn't get even if i spent all the money i have. In my opinion you have already done much more than what you needed to be."

"Still if you ever need help in the future please contact me i will try to help as much as possible."

Scratch that she is not just nice but she is like an angel.

Both sisters are nice. One is just sweet and chatty while the other is kinda like coconut tough on the outside but soft on the inside.

"I will take these things away i am sure they must be making you nauseous" Suzanne said as she put the blooded bandages, tissues and other medical equipment and them in a bad " also i found your bag and there in it was broken i think so i put in on the table to the left " she pointed beside me as left while keeping the door open.
