Chapter 2 Is this a new perspective?

The hospital director was furious. It was bad enough that Ethan had woken up from his injuries, but now he had even managed to fool Sophie Su?

How could he let him succeed?

"Guards! Arrest Ethan immediately and hand him over to the police!"

"I'd like to see who dares!"

Sophie Su furrowed her brows, her beauty breathtaking as she shot a glare at the hospital director before turning to Ethan.

"Enough talking. Save my grandfather. Whatever conditions you have, I'll agree to them!"

Before Ethan could even respond, the hospital director erupted in rage.

"Miss Su, are you out of your mind? If you do this, Elder Su won't rest in peace even in death!"

Doctor Aruia also stepped forward immediately.

"Miss Su, a month ago, I was the one who saved Elder Su. I can show for my own reputation—Ethan could never cure him! He is merely an intern at this hospital, not even qualified to be my apprentice!"

Sophie Su was impatient.

"All of you, get out of my way! Even if there is only a one little of hope, I will not give up!"

Her heart was in chaos.

It wasn't just about the fact that her grandfather was the person she cherished the most—she was willing to do anything to save him.

Right now, the Su family was in a precarious situation. If her grandfather died, the entire Su family would be thrown into chaos!

Finding the culprit was no longer the priority. As long as her grandfather lived, there was still hope for everything.

She grabbed Ethan and pulled him toward the hospital bed.

"My grandfather has stopped breathing. Hurry up and see if you can save him. I choose to believe in you, but if you're deceiving me, you will pay the price."

Ethan stared in a daze at the woman before him, born into a wealthy family, her delicate and exquisite face filled with worry.

She really was beautiful.

Her fair, smooth skin, seemingly as delicate as porcelain, made it impossible for him to look away.

But then, his pupils suddenly contracted as a line of words appeared in his mind.

Spiritual Diagnosis Technique!

Focusing his mental energy, Ethan suddenly saw Sophie Su as though she were a transparent doll made of blood vessels standing before him.

Every single vein in her body was visible, even more clearly than when he had examined Elder Su.

Damn, could this ability also grant X-ray vision?

Ethan was shocked, his mind wandering for a moment.

As he concentrated, he noticed a few blocked blood vessels in the central area of her body, the blood clots completely black.

Wait… that location… was quite private.

Noticing Ethan's dazed expression, Sophie Su quickly turned away.

"You! Where are you looking?"

Ethan quickly snapped out of it

Seeing Ethan staring so shamelessly, Sophie Su's fury erupted, and she raised her hand to slap him.

Ethan hurriedly explained,

"When you have your period, isn't the pain unbearable no matter how much medicine you take?"

Sophie Su was stunned, her raised hand stopping mid-air.

"Medication can only do so much to dissolve blood clots. You're still young, but if you undergo surgery, it will increase your risk of infertility. If you continue to ignore this issue, your blood vessels could break, and you might die."

"You… you…!" Sophie Su was dumbfounded.

This was her hidden illness, caused by prolonged sitting and poor blood circulation. How did he know?

"Idiot! Stop talking nonsense! My grandfather has stopped breathing!"

Sophie Su was too anxious to worry about her own condition. At this moment, she saw a glimmer of hope.

Ethan approached the hospital bed, placing his fingers expertly on Elder Su's pulse.

He had always been a Chinese medicine intern, coming to this hospital to learn under Divine Doctor Aruia.

But someone as esteemed as Aruia would never take him as an apprentice, let alone teach him anything.

Sophie Su glanced behind her and commanded in a voice that brooked no argument:

"Everyone else, leave the room immediately."

Doctor Aruia was so furious that he almost spat blood. This is stupid!

"Miss Su, if you keep acting recklessly, you will become a laughingstock! Your grandfather is already dead."

However, the hospital director, seeing Sophie Su's determination, pulled Divine Doctor Aruia aside and shook his head, opting to remain silent.

After all, Ethan was just an intern. How could he possibly revive Elder Su?

By delaying treatment this long, Elder Su had already stopped breathing.

Later, all blame could be placed squarely on Ethan.

With the fabricated evidence he could prepare, Ethan would surely rot in prison!

The Su family had more than just Miss Su. The other family members would arrive soon, and once they saw that Ethan had failed, he would have no way to defend himself.

Thinking of this, the hospital director smirked and relaxed.

Ethan was just a naive young man—far too inexperienced!

At this moment, Ethan's expression was completely focused. In his mind, the ancient technique of resurrection surfaced once more.

He looked up at Sophie Su and said,

"I need silver needles."

Sophie Su nodded, quickly retrieving the box of silver needles that Doctor Aruia had left behind and handing it to Ethan.

With the needles in hand, Ethan wasted no time and began inserting them.

Ethan had no doubts about his understanding of acupuncture.

Moreover, before every needle was inserted, his mind would replay a vivid memory, as if he were watching a film.

He couldn't see the person clearly, but he could feel a steady hand wielding golden needles with precision and skill.

The first needle—Sanjiao Huiyin—to regulate qi and promote blood circulation!

The second needle—Baihui Tongyang—to invigorate the tendons and strengthen the bones!

Just as Ethan was about to insert the third needle, a group of people burst into the room.

"Stop! Stop immediately!"

Before they even entered fully, they were already shouting.

Sophie Su turned to look and saw that it was her father, mother, uncles, and cousins.

The Su family was a prestigious household in Wraldon, with many descendants.

Yet why had their massive business empire ultimately been charged to a woman barely in her twenties?

No one knew.

The one who had spoken was Sophie Su's father, William Su.

"How is my father? Wasn't he fine just now?"

"Sophie, stop that boy immediately! Are you trying to kill your own grandfather with your own hands?"

William Su glared at his daughter in rage. If it weren't for her features, no one would have guessed they were related.

"He's saving Grandpa..."

Sophie Su weakly explained.

"This is absolute nonsense!"

William Su waved his sleeve angrily and roared,

"That brat is just a nobody! How could he save your grandfather? If anything happens to him, you will be the greatest sinner of the Su family!"

At this moment, a man standing beside him sneered and added,

"Dad, don't you see? Sophie Su has been going against you from the start. Otherwise, how did she become the CEO of our company?"

"Now, at such a critical moment, our entire family supports the arranged marriage, yet Grandpa suddenly falls ill."

"And now, after his recovery, something like this happens again?"

"Sophie Su is ignoring all objections—she's about to kill Grandpa right in front of everyone!"
