Passive of Spirit

With excitement bubbling inside him, Magnus charged at the monsters, a wide smile on his face. His eyes gleamed with determination as he tightened his grip on his sword, holding it firmly with both hands.

"Woah, woah! I'm right here, you monsters!" Magnus shouted, his voice echoing through the battlefield, His boldness drew the attention of several creatures, their glowing eyes locking onto him as they snarled in anger.

Before Magnus could even fight the monster, Ares secretly placed one of his shadows behind Magnus, ready to defend him from any surprise attacks.

While Magnus fought with all his might, he could only scratch one of the monsters. As he continued to fight, it took him 10 or 15 slashes to take them down, and he barely managed to defend himself. But one of Ares's shadows defended him from all the attacks.

In just an hour, Magnus could only kill two monsters, and his tongue was already sticking out. "Ho-How… Brother is casually wiping out the monsters continuously…" Magnus thought, breathing heavily on the side.

Meanwhile, Ares and his shadows had already slain half of the monsters, and his screen appeared, showing the number of monsters defeated.

Since Magnus joined the battle, some of the monster points went to him. Ares didn't mind it, and as Magnus took a break on the side, already exhausted, Ares made sure of his safety by assigning two shadows to guard him.

Ares grinned while gazing at him, and out of nowhere, Sylphir mentioned something important.

"I forgot to mention," Sylphir's voice echoed in Ares's mind, "Your current power isn't even at its full potential yet. You can use all your points in attack and defense if necessary. But remember, each point you use will decrease depending on how many points you allocate to your strength or defense." "And that's one of the passives of the spirit," Sylphir added.

Ares's eyes sparkled with excitement after hearing it. "So, I can become even stronger?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

"Yes," Sylphir replied, her tone confident. 

Once again, Ares quickly stretched his body like a leopard and charged at the Abyssal Overlord. Their level was now 40, and the other monsters—Chaos Guards and Shadow Fiends—were roaring.

The Abyssal Overlord stood as a towering figure clad in jagged shadow armor, with spiraling horns and glowing claws. It dove at Ares first, but he swiftly leaped into the air and slashed at it five times.

"Damn you, insect!"

Slash! Slash! Splank!

Then, one after another, they came at him, but he dodged all of them like a ninja, zigzagging to avoid all their attacks.

His shadows, fighting alongside him, were increasing their levels even before they finished wiping out the monsters. Due to the sheer number of enemies, his shadows instantly reached level 5.

Ares immediately summoned his remaining shadows, and eight of them appeared and joined the battle.

Fiddlesticks, who was on the right side, was enjoying the battle as if he wanted the spotlight so that Ares would notice him. He had been stunning the monsters, and even though their levels were higher than the shadows, their strength was different. Since Ares had grown stronger again, their effects had also increased.

Since Ares was curious about his power, he decided to put 100 points into the attack and test it on the monsters.

"Let's see how strong it is," Ares thought while leaping into the air.

Ares quickly converted 100 attack points to himself, and immediately his dagger and claws glowed for a second, receiving the effect of it. And he could only convert points once per battle.

Cost: Could drain MP/ Spirit or increase fatigue, making him use this power strategically.

Every minute that passed, MP reduced by 100.

Ares had to be careful when deciding to use it.

Without wasting a second, Ares charged at the monsters, his movements swift and precise. With one powerful slash, ten of them fell instantly, their blood spraying into the air. He didn't stop there. He unleashed another attack, his blade cutting through the monster with ease.

More monsters fell, their bodies collapsing like lifeless puppets. To him, it felt like he was merely playing with low-level creatures, their strength nothing compared to his newfound power.

His aura surged, and his spirit flowed through his body, amplifying his attacks. Ares's eyes gleamed with excitement as he continued his relentless onslaught, wiping out wave after wave of monsters.

He was like a baby enjoying playtime with his dad. Ares couldn't help but laugh as his heart raced in amusement, feeling like it was about to explode at any moment. His eyes were shimmering, and Magnus, watching from afar, thought Ares was going crazy.

"What happened to Brother? Why is he so happy? Is he losing his mind already?" Magnus muttered, his tone filled with concern and curiosity.

After a while, Ares had devoured all of them, and his attack and defense increased. However, because he used some of his points for his attack, his fatigue suddenly increased a little. This was due to the cost of using the passive of the spirit, which could either drain MP, spirit or cause fatigue. The passive spirit randomly chose what to exchange after using it.

"Damn you, human! I warned you to use it only if necessary, but you didn't listen!" Sylphir shouted, her voice filled with anger.

But Ares didn't listen to him, and immediately, a screen appeared before him, showing that he had wiped out all the monsters on the second floor. Lucky for him, the second floor didn't have a boss, so he could now advance to the last floor.

[You have successfully defeated all level 35 monsters!] 

Then, immediately before he could open his reward, the artifact on the second floor appeared, and an unknown light shone with it. They quickly covered their eyes as the light was so intense that it felt like they had been placed in heaven.
