On my birthday, my best friend claimed she was a bit short on cash and gave me a lottery ticket as a gift.
I didn't mind at all. In fact, I secretly helped her out financially quite a bit and even introduced her to a new job opportunity.
Later, I discovered the lottery ticket had won three million dollars, and I generously gave all of the winnings to her.
Little did I know, she conspired with my husband. They snuck into my house and stabbed me frantically seven or eight times, all while raving madly.
"If you could give me three million, you must have won much more. How could it possibly be only three million!"
When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day she gave me that birthday gift.

A Lottery Ticket That Bought Freedom

Vienna immediately quit her current job after receiving the $1.5 million, and began to "enjoy life" instead.


With this $3 million, the two became inseparable, going out shopping and traveling whenever they had free time.


However, if they were to spend extravagantly, a mere $1.5 million per person would certainly not be enough.


But after experiencing the life of the rich, how could the two of them be content with continuing to earn a salary of just $10,000 a month?


"Vienna, are you saying you want to travel with us?"


"Yes!" She seemed very excited, her eyes curved into crescents as she smiled, "You, me, and... Mason. The three of us. Just consider it your honeymoon, with me tagging along as a third wheel."


Regardless of what I was thinking, the words that came out of my mouth were in agreement.


"Sure," I smiled slightly, "It would be really great to go out and have fun with you guys!"
