After the conversation with her soon-to-be ex-husbands, Coco and Lala went back to where they started. Coco started cutting trees because she wanted to build a house for her and Lala while the fairy grew a pair of tropical fruit trees that she sees from Coco's world, helping her replant the trees.
"You don't have to grow more trees whenever I bring down one, Lala." Coco said as she chopped another tree with her handmade stone axe, "I'm purposely making a clearing because I'm going to build our house here! You can grow more fruit if you want, just let me handle the hard labour, okay?"
"Okay~!" Lala agreed happily and moved farther away from Coco to sprout another orange tree. She was contemplating whether she should grow another fruit, but decided against it.
Ever since Coco unlocked her skills [Green fingers] and [Purification], she received a passive skill of [Stamina boost] and [Strength]. If she wasn't strong enough to take down a tree from its root a few days ago then she sure as hell can now! She actually feels bad because she felt like she received a cheat skill, but Lala assured her that it's a gift from Lulu.
The [Purification] skill was a blessing for her since she doesn't know how dirty a river water could be in this world. However, the [Strength] passive skill has been troubling her. Does that mean she could accidentally kill a person with a mere smack? A slap?
Or what if she accidentally destroy something? Her passive skill can't be deactivated and it's starting to freak her out. At first, she felt blessed because putting down trees became easy, but the more she thinks about it, the scarier it gets.
Don't get started with [Stamina Boost]! She doesn't feel tired after doing all the hard work! If she were back in her previous world, cutting down a tree would have taken her a few days, but it only takes her a few seconds right now!
She's getting scarier as seconds pass by.
After taking down the tenth tree that afternoon, she picked up the tree trunk and dropped it beside the stream of the river, next to the other tree trunks. It may be hard to hike the mountain to reach her home, but at least she loves the quiet and peace a seclusion can give.
She looked around her chosen spot for her new house and nodded her head. She will have to build a wall around her house and make it as sturdy as she can so no bad weather will destroy her home. That means..
"I'll have to create cement!" She cried out in a dramatic agony, "Ugh.. Creating your own house is hard! But I don't want a wooden house because I know it won't last long.. So, I'll just have to suck it up and man up."
Sulking, she trudged to Lala's spot. Her mood immediately lightened up when she saw the aligned oranges, bananas and strawberries.
The plot of land wasn't big so each fruit only has four trees at most. She doesn't have to worry about dying of starvation because she has Lala beside her!
"Well done, Lala! Those fruits look so ripe and fresh, it's making me hungry." Coco praised the fairy's handiwork while drooling. She could see the stars around each ripened fruit and she could already taste it in her mouth! She just know it's delicious!
"Hehe~ thank you! I made all of these for you so eat up!" The sweet fairy said with an adorable smile on her face so how could Coco refuse her? She's not a devil!
Just before she could pick the orange from the tree, when she lifted her hand up, the smell that her body emits made her gag. It smelled so bad that she felt like she was gonna die.
"I stink!!" She cried, lowering her arm down so the smell wouldn't escape from her armpits.
"I haven't taken a bath for days. How did Zaque and Heiren manage to talk to me when I smelled that bad? Goodness!" Coco whined out, embarrassment filling her entire being as huffed.
She locked gazes with Lala who was smiling sweetly before a light bulb went off her head when she saw the fairy's red overalls.
"My sweet Lala!" She called the fairy over, "Come here! I've got something for you to do, my adorable Lala!"
Essential oil and fragrant oils were made for both women and men back in her world, but as far as she remembered, she didn't see anything like that down the village.
However, how could she make a fragrant oil if she have no knowledge about it?
Damn it, I should have researched about it during high school days.. Why do I feel like this world is not as advanced as the province in my world? Coco became downcast almost immediately after thinking. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the fairy approach her.
"What do you want me to do, Coco?" Lala asked, cooing adorably and softly towards her friend, "Do you not like the fruits? Do you want something else?"
"Ah, no, no.." Coco murmured, grabbing the fairy gently who gladly leaned into her palm and melted her small body against her cheek, "I just feel blue, that's all."
"What made you sad, Coco?" Lala whimpered, feeling upset because her human is upset.
"Haha, I'm just glad you're not running away from me even though I stink." Coco laughed dryly, guiding the conversation to another topic to not make the fairy sad further.
Lala's face scrunched up, tilting her head and pushing herself away from Coco's face, "You don't stink— oh, wait, I don't think us fairies can smell bad scents.. Still! You don't stink!"
"Fairies can't smell stinks? Wow, so lucky." Coco blinked before she sighed out, "Anyways, even what you say is true, I smelled myself and I stink.. So, with whatever we have here.. I'll make myself smell good!"
Orange peels is good! Coco thought with a bright expression, shotting up from her spot.
