Surprise

"None of YOUR business", she yelled back trying to clear her mind. Despite all this, Ana was still very drunk and she wished to get sober as soon as possible.

"Come", Oliver said and tried to take her hand but Ana yanked back her hand in time.

"No! Stop doing this… I'm not coming anywhere", she said with finality.

"You need to go home… right now…", he glared at her furiously. How could she be arguing with him in that stage? Her cheeks were flushed bright red, she was drunk to the level that she couldn't even stand properly without support, her eyes were droopy and hardly half opened and her clothes were... completely dishevelled and inappropriate.

"My friend is in there… I need to go back…", she told him wobbling towards the pub.

Oliver stood in front of her and took her by the shoulders, "You're not going to go back to your friend"

He tried to bear her down with a stare but Ana wasn't budging. "I can't go home without my friend..", she yelled in her defence which Oliver ignored.

He pushed back Ana towards a wall and pinned her there with his hands on either side. When Ana tried to duck under his hands, he closed the distance between them and moved closer to her.

"Let me go….", she slowly spoke turning her head to the other side not wanting to see Oliver's face.

Oliver was fuming in frustration. What was her issue? Didn't she recently go through a heart break? Humans are extremely fickle minded. They change very easily and throw people out of their lives in a matter of seconds. Humans never worry about oath, promise, honor or loyalty and play like animals.

"Why do you want to kiss someone that bad?", Oliver's question seemed to embarrass her and throw her off balance and she turned her head to look at it.

What was he talking about? How did he know that she was about to kiss that guy? Why was he here? First of all, how did he know where to find her?

"None of your business…", she said again but this time more embarrassed and weak than before.

He was breathing heavily staring at her like he couldn't understand her at all. He was judging her and she could feel that in his look.

"I said none of your business…", she clarified once more as it didn't look like he understood her properly.

She averted eye contact and put her head down when the image of the guy she was dancing with popped up in her head. It wasn't like she wanted to kiss him desperately but because of the nice buzz in her brain, she wanted to let it loose and try kissing him once to see how it felt. Ana had only kissed Joshua her entire life and she was curious to know if other people felt… different.

"You're thinking about it again….", he muttered furiously like he couldn't take it anymore.

"What's it to you? I don't understand why you're so worked up about it…. First, how did you find me here? And what are you doing here?", she finally asked him demanding some answers now.

Oliver stared at her in silence, they both still standing against the wall under the streetlight. His hot breath was on her skin and she finally noticed that they were standing too close to each other.

He saw her pout after not hearing a reply from him and he didn't know what took over him, he suddenly smashed his lips against hers.

Ana's eyes widened in shock. She was frozen and too stunned to move, but Oliver was kissing her? Why?

Before she could ask him that question, he deepened the kiss without warning and took her entire lips in his, in one swift motion. She felt his hot mouth ravishing hers wading through all the pleasure points. Ana was too swept up by the moment to question anything and just gave in to it.

She closed her eyes, grabbed his hair to pull him deeper towards her. He was literally eating her off, and seemed to enjoy every single moment of it. He cupped her face without breaking the kiss, and angled her the way he liked and extended the kiss more. He knew the moment she started reciprocating to him and that only served as a welcoming invite.

He released her once but not moving away, only waited enough to let her catch her breath. He suddenly bit and dragged her lower lip with his teeth making Ana's brain go crazy. He dropped his hand to her waist to pull her close, while she grabbed his shoulders to do the same, trying to bridge even the small distance between them.

The feeling was strange, weird and something Oliver had never experienced before. These desires were not uncommon amongst demons but he was always busy to care about it all. But thanks to Ana, he felt things which he never thought he would feel as a human and now his urges couldn't be controlled because of her. But, in some way it all felt comfortable and familiar. When he felt Ana's desire to kiss someone few minutes back, he experienced uncomfortableness which was completely opposite to what he was going through now.

Although Ana was still drunk, she knew she was going to remember this moment very clearly and feel embarrassed the next day. But as she promised herself, all the embarrassment would be dealt by tomorrow's Ana and today she was going to let it all go, even though she was kissing Oliver like her life depended on it.

He didn't seem to stop and she didn't want him to stop either.

Ana's ringtone rang loudly pulling them both to reality. Oliver let go of her, still hesitating to completely move away and Ana took out her phone from her dress pocket with shaky hand. She saw that it was from Kathy.

"I…. I need to get this….", she said in between breath to Oliver whose hands were still on her waist. He nodded and stepped back from Ana, slowly realizing the situation in between them.

"Hey…", Ana spoke over the call.

"Ana… Where the hell are you? I've been searching for you everywhere….", Kathy shouted so loudly than necessary into Ana's ears.

"I…. Sorry, Kathy… I wasn't feeling well, so I already left in a taxi…. I'm so sorry…", she lied glancing at Oliver who had an unreadable expression.

"Oh…. Why didn't you say anything…. I was worried sick.."

"I'm sorry…. You can take my car home…. I…. I'm still feeling sick… I'll meet you tomorrow…", Ana replied her friend unsure what more to say. She didn't know why she lied, maybe to protect Oliver? Or maybe she didn't want to be caught with Oliver? Or…. Maybe because of the kiss?

"Okay… Take care Ana… Meet you tomorrow in the museum….", she said and disconnected the call.

Oliver came closer to her and for a moment there Ana thought he was going to kiss her again or do something but he just said, "I'll drop you", in the same nonchalant tone he often used and started walking away through the alley.

He stopped once and turned back at her, "Aren't you coming?", he said and started walking again without waiting for her.

Whatever was there in between them a few minutes back was definitely gone now. Ana wasn't happy that he kissed her out of the blue like that without asking her permission, but she didn't understand the reason behind the feeling of sadness which was growing in her heart because they weren't kissing anymore.

She decided to blame it all on the alcohol and followed him to his car.
