"Hmm, let me think."
Hearing Tohka's question, Jean lowered her head and thought carefully.
You couldn't blame her—the shock that Apocalypse brought them earlier was simply overwhelming.
Everyone had subconsciously overlooked his followers; that was just human nature.
"I remember now, two of them seemed to have metal in their bodies.
As soon as they showed up, Magneto took care of them.
As for the other two, they didn't even get a chance to act.
They were both women. One was a Black woman with white hair and dressed rather strangely.
The other one... well, I can't really describe her."
At this point, Jean Grey shared what she knew.
After all, since she was one of their own, it was only natural for Tohka to ask her for intel.
"I see... so that guy..."
The other ones might not have changed much, but that guy had metal.
Alright, Tohka immediately thought of Wolverine.
But Wolverine was really quite pitiful.
His healing ability combined with adamantium made him incredibly strong, he still got absolutely wrecked by Magneto.
He was thrown around like a rag doll the moment they met.
But in another world (well, kind of), he used that same power to stab the Dark Phoenix to death.
"....."
As Jean Grey finished speaking, the plane once again fell into silence.
They had no choice—the enemy this time was just too powerful.
Everyone was basically going in with the mindset that they might die.
Even with Tohka on their side, they weren't 100% confident.
After all, almost no one had seen Tohka go all-out.
"Alright, it's time. Nightcrawler, go get the Professor."
While everyone was silent, the plane arrived at its destination.
By this time, the pyramid had already been completed.
But since Magneto wasn't here, Apocalypse hadn't tried to lift an entire continent.
The surrounding area was also in much better shape than before— At least it didn't look like the apocalypse.
However, aside from Tohka, no one paid attention to the surroundings.
Everyone's goal was to rescue Charles first.
As for Magneto and the other combat-strong mutants, they had rushed outside—clearly eager to engage the enemies in battle.
"Mm."
Hearing Jean Grey's command, the strange-looking Nightcrawler vanished from sight.
When he reappeared, he was already on the ground, and then disappeared again.
But no one moved just yet, because at that moment— that was because Jean, as a telepath, was trying to establish a connection with the Professor.
But since she wasn't Charles, no one interrupted her.
Soon after, Nightcrawler reappeared with Professor Charles.
But from the looks of it, Charles wasn't in good shape.
That wasn't even the worst part—the worst part was, he was now bald.
"Let's get out of here..."
Seeing Professor Charles, Jean Grey was about to lead everyone to retreat.
"Wait, no need to rush."
But before she could finish speaking, Tohka interrupted her.
Tohka slowly walked up to the Professor and reached her hand out to his head.
She casually rubbed the legendary bald head, then spoke slowly,
"That guy's psychic power has already entered the Professor's mind. Even if we take the Professor out, it's useless unless we defeat him. Be careful."
At that moment, two massive holes were suddenly blasted into the top of the plane.
A man with steel wings on his back and a woman burst in.
As for their code names—well, Tohka remembered one of them was called Psylocke.
She couldn't recall the name of the other one.
"Damn it, Magneto didn't take care of that guy?"
Seeing this, Tohka was a little surprised.
In her mind, with Magneto involved, these two shouldn't have posed much of a threat.
But that was just her thinking—her reactions were not slow.
She kicked out immediately.
But the winged guy seemed to realize he couldn't take the hit and immediately flew back out.
As a result, Tohka ended up kicking a huge hole in the plane.
"I'll handle the guy. As for the woman, you deal with her."
Without caring about the others' reactions, Tohka donned her armor and flew after him.
"….."
Watching Tohka fly off, Jean Grey immediately restarted the plane.
Caught off guard, Psylocke clung to the cabin wall to avoid getting blown out.
Leaving that situation aside—in the air, the winged man was in trouble. He didn't expect Tohka to be capable of flight.
Truth be told, the guy had been living under a rock—didn't even watch TV— so he was being chased all over the sky by Tohka.
Worse still—he was slower than her.
He was only staying ahead due to the head start.
His only attacks were those so-called steel wings and his only attack came from his wings, which Tohka didn't even bother to look at—they couldn't break through her defenses anyway.
She slashed him across the shoulder.
His metallic wing was instantly cleaved with a single strike.
Tohka's sword was like a hot knife cutting through butter.
Only vibranium or adamantium might be able to block her attacks.
Clearly, this guy's wings weren't up to par—they were easily sliced through by her spirit-infused blade.
Losing a wing, the guy fell from the sky.
Tohka didn't bother trying to save him—whether he lived or died would be up to fate.
"It's over. I wonder how the others are doing."
Only then did Tohka remember there had been two intruders earlier.
But to her surprise, just as she defeated her opponent, the other side was also finishing there's.
The plane had already fallen to the ground.
And Psylocke had crashed too—but to Tohka's surprise, she was still alive, and was struggling to get up, but she clearly had no strength left to fight.
"That Storm is really strong—she's actually fighting Magneto to a standstill."
Tohka remembered Storm being a potential Omega-level mutant, but in the movies, she was much weaker than Magneto.
But after being enhanced here, she could now fight evenly with an unenhanced Magneto.
Their battlefield was absolutely spectacular—thunder, tornadoes, and steel-reinforced concrete clashing wildly.
Both of them floated midair, and no one dared approach.
As for the other fight...
Well, just as Tohka had expected—it was Wolverine.
He was actually holding his own against several opponents at once.
