"This is going to be fun. I just didn't expect that guy to actually go after Wolverine. I wonder if he managed to kill that annoying bastard."
Tohka had absolutely no goodwill toward that military officer who hated mutants. After all, he had caused quite a few problems.
As for the timeline—like with Deadpool or whatever—Tohka couldn't be bothered to care.
This world had already gone completely off the rails anyway.
But just then, a powerful sense of pressure suddenly swept over Tohka.
Then, she saw a blue-skinned bald man step out from a wormhole.
"Hmph, useless trash."
At that moment, Apocalypse glanced coldly at the unlucky guy Tohka had cut down earlier.
He didn't show the slightest bit of pity.
He only cast a cold look at the corpse, then shifted his gaze toward Tohka, who was in the air.
Just as Tohka had sensed his power, he had also sensed hers.
Hearing Apocalypse speak, Storm said nothing—but she and Magneto tacitly stopped their clash.
Wolverine also stopped fighting and looked toward Apocalypse.
No one could accept his disregard for the lives of his subordinates—not Storm (Ororo) nor Wolverine (Logan).
"So, it begins. Looks like this fight won't be simple."
Facing Apocalypse below, Tohka felt the hairs on her body stand on end.
She hadn't fought Thor, so she didn't know how powerful he was.
As for the Destroyer armor, it had Odin backing it, so it hadn't pressured her much—but this guy was different.
(Some people say the Destroyer armor is weak, but in one comic, Thor had half his hammer melted by the thing's fire.)
"Final Sword (Halvanhelev/ハルヴァンヘレヴ)"
Without any further hesitation, Tohka summoned her throne mid-air.
Before it could even descend, the throne shattered instantly, and a ten-meter-long greatsword appeared in her hand.
"Yaaahhh!"
Without caring how others might react, Tohka descended from the sky, swinging her sword down at Apocalypse.
She knew he could fly too, so she didn't plan to fight in mid-air.
It was better to fight on the ground, where support might be possible.
Tohka didn't know how Storm was doing, but she had seen that Wolverine had already stopped fighting.
Boom!
For the first time ever, Tohka's weapon was blocked.
Her slash struck the barrier around Apocalypse, but caused no visible damage.
It wasn't her strongest attack, but the force was more than enough to cleave Tony's armor in two.
"You are not one of us, yet you possess such immense power. Yet you possess such immense power. If you're allowed to continue growing, you'll become a tremendous threat to us."
Coldly gazing at the massive sword before him, Apocalypse could feel the immense power flowing from it but what surprised him even more was that Tohka's power was still growing.
He could tell Tohka was still in her development phase.
Among mutants, this phase was when many began to truly unlock their abilities.
Many who seemed weak during this stage could one day become so powerful that not even he could stop them.
"Hmm?"
Sensing the murderous intent in Apocalypse's eyes, Tohka immediately leapt backward.
Then, she wildly swung her Final Sword, sending waves of sword energy crashing against his shield.
Each wave was powerful enough to destroy an entire city—yet against Apocalypse's shield, they caused no real damage.
(And no, don't start arguing about Apocalypse's power here—in one universe, he wiped out the Avengers, forcing everyone to reset the timeline.)
Staring coldly at Tohka,
Apocalypse maintained his barrier with one hand, while raising his other. Behind him, the sand formed into long, sharp spikes.
In the next instant, they shot toward Tohka not far away.
"What the..."
Seeing the sand spears behind Apocalypse, Tohka's hairs stood on end.
Her instincts screamed that without a proper defense, she'd be seriously injured.
So, she swung her Final Sword in front of her as a shield—and the massive impact immediately slammed into her, pushing her back.
"Phew, that was close." Tohka sighed in relief.
Those sand spears weren't ordinary—they contained immense energy.
She was sure that if one had hit her body directly, she would've been badly hurt.
"Tohka, watch out!"
At that moment, a voice rang out from somewhere.
Just as she relaxed, Tohka tensed up again—because she realized she was completely surrounded by countless sand spears.
At this point, she had no room left to dodge.
Just as the spears were about to be unleashed, bolts of lightning, iron, and red lasers suddenly struck them—shattering the weaker spears instantly.
Then, Tohka felt the silver-haired young man appear behind her, grab her, and zip out of danger, landing on an open area nearby.
"Thanks."
Seeing she was now outside the danger zone, Tohka nodded.
Tohka also noticed something else—she could barely track Quicksilver's movements.
Whether she could block him was uncertain—but she wasn't worried.
But at least, for now,
It didn't seem like Quicksilver didn't seem able to pierce her defense barrier.
No matter what Tohka thought, All the attacks now focused on Apocalypse.
But to everyone's shock—Apocalypse blocked them all by himself.
Seeing this, Tohka stopped hesitating and began furiously swinging her greatsword, unleashing waves of sword energy.
This was the first time since the desert battle that she went all out.
While this intense battle raged, on the other side, Jean Grey was dripping with cold sweat as she looked at the Professor.
He had fallen unconscious again—forced to reenter the psychic world to battle Apocalypse.
Meanwhile, despite being under siege, Apocalypse remained unmoved.
Part of his power had transferred into the Professor, so he was definitely under pressure— especially from Tohka's attacks, which were draining him rapidly.
Because of her unique nature, Apocalypse knew he had to eliminate her first.
