After Ezra had finished cleaning my scratches and scrapes, he allowed me to sit on the couch watching whatever I wanted. He sat on the couch next to me as we waited for Apollo to come back from wherever he went. I'm pretty sure Ezra knows exactly where he's going, but he refuses to tell me each time I ask.

"Okay," Apollo walks into the house after a few hours of being out. I immediately stand up, looking at him, hoping for answers. He glanced at me before he carefully pulled me in an embrace.

"What's going on, Apollo?" Ezra asks, walking up to us.

"They wanted her because they found out she's the phoenix of our pack from someone," Apollo says as his embrace gets slightly tighter. "They were going to use her to destroy us and our pack," He continues. "But from now on..." He pauses, letting me go, but holding me by the shoulders. "I need you to stay here at the pack house with us and when you go out, I need either Ezra or I to be with you, or a couple of other pack members," He says. "But for now..." He pauses again. "I need you to stay with either Ezra or me because there has to be a rat in our pack," He says before looking at Ezra and letting go of me.

"So what?" I begin to ask. "Now I'm going to be held as a prisoner here in this house?" I ask, looking at both of them. "I understand that my life is in danger, but I can't be held captive in my own pack house," I tell them, not realizing I used the word 'my own' regarding the pack house.

"Well, those are the orders, Princesa," Apollo says.

I glare at him for a moment before I shake my head and make my way outside.

"Where are you going?" Apollo asks, following me outside.

"I'm not going to be held hostage," I tell him, stepping into the forest. Before I was able to take any more steps, I was hanging over Apollo's shoulder, being brought back to the pack house.

I screamed as I was dragged back into the house, hitting his back, but nothing seemed to work until he shut the door and placed me back down on the ground.

"I told you, Princesa," He pauses for a second. "You can't go out on your own," He finishes.

Suddenly, I felt a certain rage overcome my entire body. I felt my hands quickly heat up with fire, but I assumed it was just because of the adrenaline. I quickly took deep breaths in and out, hoping it helped me calm down.

"I don't need to be held like I'm a prisoner," I tell him, my anger still building.

"But if you get kidnapped, it'll put our pack in danger, not to mention, it'll put you in danger," He says, his eyes darkening.

"I don't care because this is my pack and I am the Phoenix of this pack, which means, I can defend myself. I have the strength to protect myself and my pack," I tell him, my anger still building. Suddenly, I felt something flash across my vision. It looked just like a Phoenix. It had thick wings, red and orange, and it looked so powerful.

"What just happened?" Ezra asks, worry in his eyes.

"Nothing," I claim, remembering the powerful Pheonix. When I came to, I noticed a burn mark on the wall. "Where'd that come from?" I ask, pointing to the burn mark.

"You," Apollo says, still with wide eyes. "You just did that," He says.

I take a few deep breaths, trying to understand everything. Why don't I remember doing that? Why did I see that vision? Is it because I'm the Phoenix of this pack?

"I have to make a call," Ezra tells me and Apollo, leaving us next to each other in silence.

I didn't have anything to say, not to mention, I was still a little mad at him.

A few minutes later, Ezra comes back, giving Apollo that familiar look where their eyes fade.

"Okay, Cupcake, there is someone who will be here in about 30 minutes," he says. As soon as I was about to ask, there was a burst of wind and swirling things before a woman appeared amongst them.

I was confused before the familiar face of the woman made me widen my eyes.

"Y-you're-" Before I could continue, she cut me off.

"Yes, that's right," She smiles. "You saw me in your vision and I'm glad you made the correct choice, darling," She says. I was just so shocked to actually see this woman in reality.

"You guys have met before?" Apollo asks, surprised.

"Sort of," I begin. "When I was in like a coma thing after I got hit by a car-" Before I could continue, Ezra cut me off.

"You got hit by a car? When?" He asks, shocked.

"No biggie, I survived," I respond to him. "We met in this vision that I had, but only once," I tell them.

"Yes, that is when I found out she was very powerful," The woman says.

"Yeah. Whatever that means." I scoff, rolling my eyes.

"You found your voice in a very traumatizing situation, and that makes you very strong as a human, but you hold more power than you know, and it's important to understand how to use it," The woman says.

"What do you mean she holds more power than we know?" Apollo asks, looking at the woman with shock.

"It's for her to find out," The woman says, looking at me. "And when she finds out, I'm sure you all will find out soon after," She finishes.

"What does that mean?" I ask, curiously.

"I have someone who can help you understand these powers," The woman says. "I'll have him here soon for you," She says, making the two men stand straight up.

"Him?" Apollo asks, jealousy clear in his eyes.

"Yes. Him." The woman says. "He's the only one who is strong enough to help and train someone who has the power that your special mate has," She explains to them, trying to make them understand.

Ezra nods in understanding before he puts his hand on Apollo's shoulder, assuming to try to calm him down.

"I see," Ezra says. "The only person who can help her," He says, either reminding himself or Apollo.
